Nope - hardly any hardware errors. There's nothing going wrong with any of my three rigs right now. In fact last night while the rigs weren't being rented, I was mining at multipool.us, and there were hardly any rejects at all.

I've just leased GSD0 and GSD2, mining at wafflepool.

Both rigs has over 10% rejects at the european server, us-east is much better. Where are the rigs located?

Edit:
Switched back to the european server and now it's better, maybe you had trouble with your internet connection? Wafflepool servers has been very reliable (I'm mining there with some gridseeds). Hashrate at leaserig.net for GSD2 is much too high at 11 MH, but pool rate is correct.

The rigs are in the UK. GSD0 is 20 gridseeds, GSD2 is 4 gridseed blades, however right now only 3 are working properly due to one of the PSUs being faulty, I should have that resolved soon, but this is why when you rented the rig it was rated at 8.4Mh, not 11.4Mh. If I get it working then you'll benefit from the extra 3Mh/s free of charge.

Reject rate seems fairly normal to me. I've been sitting here watching the shares go by on both rigs for the past 5 minutes and there are lots and lots of accepted shares, and maybe the odd one that is rejected. Since wafflepool is a multi-pool, it's possible they were mining a quick coin or something that pushed the reject rate up. It happens. From my side however, everything looks nice and stable.

Dear all,

Had a few issues with power cuts today, I've added 10 minutes to everyone's lease free of charge as compensation.

LRP has been terrible the last few days for me. It's crashed on all my rigs at least 4 times, and I've lost long term contracts because of it.

Just saying...

Question: What do you do about people who leave unjustified bad feedback? I'm talking about the new star system on the site, not on the reputation threads.

I recently had a guy hire my rig for only 2 hours. The pool he was using went down a couple of times, and he's left bad feedback because he thinks it's my fault. I even explained it to him, yet I get 3 stars only for communication.

If this was eBay, I'd be able to challenge the feedback and have unjustified feedback removed. What's the situation here? I'd like to know, because anything less than 5 stars puts potential customers off.

Need some help.

I've set up a new rig, but in the providers screen under the column "can be rented" it says NO.

I've set the location, given it a hash speed, created some rental plans, added default pools. Enabled the rig. What else do I need to do?

At the moment, the miner is running through LeaseRig Proxy and hashing on my default pool, but nobody can rent.

Help!

hi,

i hire your rig for 6 hours and i got 48% rejects for about 2 hours and 50 minutes

The rig is operating normally. I suspect it was a problem with the pool you were using. The other pool you had set up seemed normal.

i purchased a 48 hour contract. i am currently only 1/4 of the way through it, and this rig is fantastic. I will certainly be interested in purchasing again!

Thanks,

I'll add on an extra 30 mins for you. Glad you like the rig.

hello martyn,

I have rented your rig for the last 12 hours. I am very satiesfied about the hash rate, but I hope you can help me out . I have also a rig with 12 gridseeds but the hash rate of my rig in the pool is the half of the rate what i see on my miner.  I am using a windows 7 dual core with 2 GB and windows 7 64 Bit.  I have configured cgminer 3.7.2. Do you have some tips how to solve this.

thanks in advance

What pool are you using? Have you tried a different pool? It's possible that you're getting a lot of rejects on the pool you're using. Personally I've found the Gridseeds to be quite consistent at about 850Mhz. If you're pushing the speed of them over this, you might be getting a lot of hardware errors too that will lower the stats at the pool. Maybe send me a screenshot of your mining screen - that might give some clues as to what's going on.

The captcha numbers seem to have disappeared on the login page. I'm worried about logging in, in case someone has taken over the site to steal passwords. Could someone reassure us that that the slowness and the captcha disappearance isn't a cause for concern?

Support 10/10 !

Rigs speed CORRECT(even some more than suppose to be!)

No issues, everything works perfect.

Well working rigs with amazing support from martynw2000!

I was beginner at minning, but martynw2000 explained me everything, help up with set up rigs. And he answer my PM's after like 2 minutes  Grin

Simply the best.

You're welcome VladMaster, come back anytime and claim your free 30mins mining.

It's a *rep* thread, not a support thread. 99% of issues are handled via email, if for no other reason than it being faster. The only reason people post support issues in the rep thread is because they have no other way to make contact with providers because of a (IMO) long standing design flaw of leaserig.net. Common sense says there should be a contact form for renters to send providers messages without exposing the providers email address unwillingly.

+1

I'd appreciate it if you could delete https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=557619.msg6240675#msg6240675 - as it was from a point in time where my rig wasn't reporting the correct speed. This has long since been fixed, and it does my rep no good at all for that to remain. Thanks.

Hi Monty,

Just so you know, I couldn't get the speed reporting working properly with BFGminer either. I tried all sorts of combinations of port numbers and whatever, but it seems it just doesn't like the API commands. I'm using gridseeds too, so a similar setup I would imagine. Once I switched back to CGminer everything was fine. Also, I noted that when running BFG miner with 20 gridseeds, a few of the gridseeds either didn't hash properly, or not at all. The effect seemed random it was different gridseed units each time (I checked the serial numbers). All in all, CGminer seems to be better (although you have to turn off the damn USB hubs before you run it, which is a pain).

The API commands seem to work fine with the gridseed version of CGminer. Not had a problem since I switched back.

Tested CGminer for a few hours now and it seems stable regarding to speed reports. PLUS I didn't even need to deactivate the USB hubs. Grin Had to hotplug the Gridseeds though after starting CGminer to be recognised so I am a little worried what happens if the rig goes down for some reason and I am not around. Any idea how to solve this?

@SlipperySlope
ipominer.com is one of the pools I am using in times my rig is not leased. You have to keep an eye on the multipool though as it sometimes is not the most profitable solution but ipominer.com is - in general - better than most other multipools you find on poolpicker.eu. Smiley

No, I haven't figured out how to hotplug the gridseeds remotely yet (in case of some unexpected error that requires a restart). In Windows 7, you can disable the hubs from the device manager, and then re-enable them again, but this doesn't seem to work fantastically well. Last time I did this only 14/20 gridseeds were discovered. I then tried again and only 8 were discovered. Seems the only reliable way is to physically disconnect the hubs, which obviously requires you to be there.

What is really required is a USB hub that can be activated or deactivated via an IP-switch. I suppose that might do the trick.

AS A SEPARATE ISSUE...

Can we PLEASE have some kind of tolerance (-+ 5% perhaps) on what the site thinks is an underperforming rig?

For example, my rigs operate at 7.23 almost constantly. I've however put the rated speed at 7.2 to make sure it's nearly always reported at running okay. BUT, occasionally a pool goes down and it drops the rate down a bit, even though the rig is working fine. Right now the site is telling me my rig is underperforming because it's reported at 7.18 not 7.2!! Seems a bit harsh to me! Especially as you get that damn annoying pop-up saying "are you really sure you want to hire an underperforming rig?". It's only 0.02 off it's speed FFS!

IMHO, allowing payment by USD/credit card kind of defeats the purpose of everything we're doing here. Smiley

How so? Someone would be paying USD to mine coins, effectively exchanging USD into cryptocurrency. Nothing wrong with that.

What would stop someone paying for rig time on a credit card and then doing a chargeback?

Please - how can I cancel a lease? I'm looking for a cancel button somewhere, but I can't see it.

If you are the provider, just subtract all the minutes left in the lease.
If you are the renter, contact the provider.

I tried subtracting the minutes - but I get the message "negative operation not supported".
