I'm a small miner. I've sold 80% of my GPU with 20% still 'for sale'.
I'm mining with a bunch of Z9 mini which are doing pretty well.
Also sitting on a non-trivial amount of stock (90% BTC).

It's still an active hobby for me, I've just shifted the slaves from GPU, who all served me well, to ASIC.
*shrug*

It's a good time to SELL GPU's.

September 2017: I bought at MSI Duke 1080ti for $660 USD.
Today: I sold that card for $630 USD

This, after flogging it mining 24/7 for 11 months

Gamers are buying up 1080ti at the moment because 20 series is not great value.

Holders don't sell.
Scarcity increases price.

I have been selling 1070ti / 1080 and openly stating they are used for mining.

Pricing in Australia - units start to move at $520 AUD ($376 USD) for 1080 and $460 AUD ($333 USD) for 1070ti.

Hmm so a rig stopped mining after being 8+ months stable.

Now all of a sudden it has completely lost the ability to detect a GPU via riser.

Plug directly >>> all GPU work
Plug via riser (any slot, any GPU, any riser) >>> no lights, no fan, no nothing. Yes I tried many many risers from spares etc.

I stripped the rig down to 1 GPU with the same results;
Directly >>> fine
Riser >>> nothing at all. Not even a LED!!!

I'm expecting more like 50,000 - 100,000 Z9 in Batch 2.
