Re: Avalon Nano3 FAQ

Hi,

Suggestion:  A schedule option.
Example: At night the electricity is cheaper and I'm not in the office, so having the option to schedule High speed/Hash during that period would be nice. In the morning (another schedule option) when I'm in the office: Low power, low noise and low cost.

I hope we can have this option in a future firmware version (or the option to do this with Home Assistant ?)

Hello miners,

My undervolt using 10K potentiometers in parallel with the smd resistors...

http://38.media.tumblr.com/d173c8c830b4e113d7216398767f490f/tumblr_n7y0nynSm31te5ijpo1_1280.jpg

Used double-side tape under the potentiometers and soldered directly to the PCB.
Easy way to adjust voltage.

Hi,

I suggest multi turn pots. Glue them with double-sided tape near the orange caps and use pcb jumper wire to connect to the resistors (the type of wire used to repair PCB tracks).

The potentiometer in the picture is not soldered to the resistor, but you get the idea...

Boas,

Hi,

My minera settings "Pool URL" list is inverted...the last pool on the list is the pool that is connected in minerd, although the dashboard lists the first pool as the connected pool.

The command line has the pools listed by the order saved by minera...maybe this a minerd thing...connects to the last pool in the command line

$minerd --v
cpuminer 2.3.2
libcurl/7.22.0 OpenSSL/1.0.1 zlib/1.2.3.4 libidn/1.23 librtmp/2.3
v0.9f

Hi michelem,

You are right, php and php5 give the same result. But if you see my first post I was using php (cgi-fcgi)...that was the problem (and not having the correct php package hahaha).
Using php (cli) from php5-cli package solved the problem. I've edit my "solved" post and removed the reference to php/php5.

Once again, thanks for your support.

Hello,

I've installed minera on a pcduino (ubuntu) with apache. Working, but no "hashrate history" and no "Rejected/errors"
Since php bin file was not available on my system, I installed libapache2-mod-fastcgi  ( needed by (?) php /var/www/minera/index.php app cron_stats )

output from php:
>minera@ubuntu:/var/www/minera$ php -v
PHP 5.3.10-1ubuntu3.11 with Suhosin-Patch (cgi-fcgi) (built: Apr  4 2014 02:06:32)
Copyright (c) 1997-2012 The PHP Group
Zend Engine v2.3.0, Copyright (c) 1998-2012 Zend Technologies

Is this the correct php binary ?

Can someone help me on this?

thanks,

Re: LightningAsic Gridseed Controller Firmware V3

...or install a webserver on your PC and direct their site to the PC itself.
edit C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc\hosts and add the new domain/IP:

127.0.0.1      domain.com
127.0.0.1      www.domain.com

No need to have a router with ssh

regards,
m

edit:  Xer0 is right...this won't work. You must have some device that redirects the traffic from the tp-link to the PC with the webserver.

Hi,

I've been logging the IP addresses, other than the mining pools, that are being contacted by the Controller and this is what I got:

50.116.38.157:123 (UDP/NTP)
193.136.164.1:123 (UDP/NTP)
194.117.9.136:123 (UDP/NTP)
195.23.33.83:123 (UDP/NTP)
80.172.224.24:123 (UDP/NTP)
194.8.30.16:123 (UDP/NTP)

All connections are system attempts to set the clock, so no bad behaviour.

But I still like to see this software released as open source

m
