CATc is not dead, the project is here because Catalonia needs a new economical way in their future.
Catalonia deserves much more than this :p
If miners dump the coin it's not our problem and we can't do anything against it.

And, shouldnt a more serious project have been better accepted?
Others (good people & miners) have their CATc in a good and safe place and are helping us voting on Mintpal (~700 votes in less than a week)
Ok, let's leave the debate on good/bad people aside, and focus on a simple calculation. 5 free votes per hour allow 120 free votes per day, thus 700 votes can be achieved in 5.84 days, which is less than a week. Not too bad ;-)

And now everybody please think for a moment: if DEV couldn't distribute 160 CATc among "few" forum members (lots of mistakes, people don't get their CATs even they applied in the correct way) HOW is DEV going to distribute 50% premine among CATALANIAN PEOPLE? 
I hope this question to be part of the interview that is going to be realised this weekend...
UPDATE 2: Tomorrow CATc is going to be announced on a Radio Show: Villaweb invited us on a live radio show to discuss about the coin. The interview will be distributed as a podcast in Catalan. If someone has time to transcribe and translate in English please do it, otherwise all the Catalans, please tune in!

Well, we asked this question and we never got replay. At that point we knew it was going to be 160 CATs to divide among ALL and not 160 CATc each. But DEV wouldn't answer. We have less and less confidence in this coin. It is a pitty but it doesn't look too good IMHO.
And BTW - speedhash.eu isn't on the list either (we applied in the form).

Not sure that it is always better late than ever. These guys (or guy -looks like a single guy, doesn't it?) have wasted a great opportunity. What about the effect on the reputation of future attempts to build a solid Catalan crypto-currency?
