Re: How Are You Preparing For 2023?
by

on 19/01/2023, 02:06:32 UTC
Currently in this situation , I can't see the movement or some positive signs for a better thinking about the future altcoins, that I would like to hold, buy or should invest. But in the coming some months I had a plan for only matic and solana. Because that may be a better coins for me to get in a long run with positive effect.
In fact, my point of view is very clear, investing in multiple digital currencies, ETH, BAB, SOLONA, etc. And the investment time is 3-5 years. I will not go to the exchange to trade frequently and do short-term trading. If you're impatient, that's a very red flag. The future market is positive, and the DID, SBT, and NFT sectors will continue to heat up. I don't know what everyone thinks?

Re: The best altcoin to look out for
by

on 11/01/2023, 09:10:55 UTC
if it is for 2023 I'd say any coins that still has potential yet getting its value reduced significantly will definitely grows in 2023, even though forecasting such thing like the increase of value in an alts is quite silly since no one knows for sure but i'm sure that coins like eth, btc, and bnb which has tremendously losing its value, gonna be the ones that will recover back their value someday next year if the bullrun is coming.

In 2023, I feel the economic depression, rising prices, and people are looking for ways to make money. Corresponding to the current economic situation is the depression in the encrypted world, and the price of Bitcoin and some mainstream digital currencies has also fallen. I simply shut down my exchange now and let my digital currency be stored in the wallet. Wait for the bull market to come.

Re: We have been told: Invest only Extra money in bitcoin
by

In my own interpretation about this slogan. The money that you can afford to lose is not necessary an extra money. It can be part of your savings that you can accept if it's loss like 10% of your savings more or less. I have my life savings too and I can lose part of it on investment since the money is just stored in my bank.

I don't know when will I die so I always using part of it on investment then leave the majority percentage untouched.
My experience tells me that Bitcoin fixed investment is a good investment method. In fact, in 3-5 years, the investment income is far greater than other investment methods. I always believe in the cyclicality of Bitcoin, and I know very clearly that the secondary market and leveraged contracts of centralized exchanges cannot be touched. I wouldn't be around someone who made a lot of money to be jealous of others.

Re: I now accept bitcoin payments in my Beauty shop
by

on 03/01/2023, 07:50:29 UTC
I have been motivated by every person here who has in one way or another promoted bitcoin in their locality. This year, there’s been more bitcointalk members teaching bitcoin outside the forum and accepting bitcoin payment in their businesses. I’m happy I am ending the year trying something new and unique in my business.

We are a beauty, cosmetic and personal care shop ( pedicure and manicure, lashes extension, facials, micro blading) in Nigeria.

To be honest, I was hesitant to do this because I thought it wouldn’t work in my profession. But there’s no downside to trying, so I did. After browsing the internet for a good bitcoin sign, I settle for this one. The sign is on my Secretary/cashier’s desk next to the card that has my bank account details. Placing the two together was deliberate because I put a discount on bitcoin making payments in bitcoin cheaper to attract people. The only challenge I face right now is 99% of our customers are female, and most do not have any prior knowledge of bitcoin or cryptocurrency, the ones who do either heard about bitcoin from their partner or social media campaigns but they haven’t given it much thought. It’s popular among the male folk here, I am yet to have a customer pay in bitcoin but it’s good enough to start the conversation. I placed a 10% discount for those who pay in bitcoin and that I think that move prompt my clients to begin asking how they can do so. I’ve had clients ask me to explain to them how Bitcoin works which I am always glad to do. Even my neighbor is curious and is likely to join the crypto fam soon. Though I haven’t had a bitcoin sales, this new addition to my business has added value and a closeness to my relationship with my clients.
Happy new year guys. See you in 2023
You gave me a full taste of freedom, the government of my region prohibits the use of any form of digital currency. For the government, the stability of the economic order is the most important thing, but for me, I can only trade digital currency on the exchange. It is hoped that more application scenarios will emerge in the future to realize the freedom of payment.

Re: I found a Bitcoin restaurant in my neighborhood
by

on 26/12/2022, 02:12:41 UTC
I am not surprised seeing as restaurant liter its walls with bitcoin ads but do not accept bitcoin payment, i like the fact that the restaurant manager was sincere, from what i am seeing in the pic shared by the op, those ads are indeed paid for by the company that owns that brand, Op should have seen and known this, the ad banners are owned by a crypto currency business that bought the walls of that restaurant to advertise their business to the customers going in and out of that building.

I've come in contact with vehicle and tricycle owners who have bitcoin ad banners placed in every corner of their vehicle but still, know nothing about bitcoin or cryptocurrency.

It seems that there are many advertisements for Bitcoin, but few people know how to use it. I don't know what the purpose of the advertisement side is, but it is always positive. The purpose is to let everyone get used to the existence of Bitcoin as much as possible, get used to accepting Bitcoin, and finally use it together.

Re: Best Crypto to buy for 2024 ?
by
mathenye
on 16/12/2022, 07:49:04 UTC
We all have the idea that 2024, it's the year where the halving will happen, and anticipate that 2025 is the bull run. But every cycle and bull run is always different.

my idea :

1- ETH---10X  Shocked
2- ADA---20X  Shocked
3- MATIC---10X   Shocked
4-SHIBA--100X  Shocked
5-NEAR---50X  Shocked
6-DOT--20X  Shocked

Those are that much to expect, I'm thinking of little with the gain of the market by the next bull run comes. It's historically that the gains through multiplier have decreased but the value and price became higher.
If you have sufficient funds and have a long-term plan, now is a good time to start, and the rest is left to time, slowly waiting for the arrival of the bull market. If you have some choice phobias right now, I can tell you. The top few of all digital currencies are no problem. In this case, there is no choice fear, because you can choose whatever you want. good luck.

Re: Have Satoshi dream failed?
by

on 14/12/2022, 06:28:42 UTC
Satoshi, of course, didn't think that the development of bitcoin was like it is today, the market cap was very large and made many people rich people, bitcoin became the pioneer of many other projects so that it made job opportunities even better, another opportunity is to provide opportunities for anyone to profit by investing or daily trading.
Satoshi Nakamoto's ideal will not fail, he is a person who respects natural evolution, and everything that is happening now is already within the scope of Satoshi Nakamoto's planning. He is not surprised. The future of Bitcoin is the future of algorithms, the evolution of mathematics, the innovation of technology, and the revolution of culture. So with such a strong normal, his dream will lead us to achieve it.

Re: How To Grow The Crypto Community?
by
mathenye
on 13/12/2022, 02:22:25 UTC
There are many strategies that a crypto community can use to grow. Some of these include:

1- Building a strong online presence: This can include creating a website, social media accounts, and other online platforms where members can interact and share information

2- Hosting regular meetups and events: These events can be a great way to bring members of the community together in person, and can also help to attract new members.

3- Offering educational resources: Providing resources such as tutorials, guides, and webinars can help new members learn about the crypto space and get involved in the community.

4- Developing partnerships with other organizations and companies: Building partnerships with other organizations or companies that share the same goals can help to expand the reach of the community and attract new members.

5- Providing support and resources for developers: Encouraging and supporting developers who are interested in building on top of the crypto platform can help to drive innovation and attract more members to the community.

Overall, the key to growing a crypto community is to create a welcoming and supportive environment where members can learn, share, and collaborate.

As the crypto space continues to evolve, it’s important for communities to stay up-to-date and adapt to the changing landscape. This can include staying informed about new developments in the crypto world, and working to address any challenges or issues that arise.

One way to do this is by fostering a culture of collaboration and open communication within the community. This can involve providing opportunities for members to share their ideas and feedback, and encouraging active participation in discussions and decision-making processes.

Another strategy is to focus on building a strong and engaged user base. This can include providing incentives and rewards for members who contribute to the community, and offering support to help members grow and develop within the crypto space.

Ultimately, the success of a crypto community will depend on the collective efforts of its members. By working together and supporting one another, communities can continue to grow and thrive in the rapidly changing world of crypto.

In addition to the strategies mentioned above, there are a few other ways that a crypto community can continue to grow and thrive.

One is by promoting the use and adoption of the crypto platform. This can include providing information and resources to help users understand how the platform works, and highlighting the benefits and potential uses of the platform.

Another strategy is to engage with the broader crypto community. This can involve participating in online forums and discussions, attending conferences and events, and collaborating with other organizations and communities in the crypto space.

Finally, it’s important for a crypto community to focus on building trust and credibility. This can include being transparent about the development and governance of the platform, and engaging with regulators and policymakers to ensure that the platform is compliant with relevant laws and regulations.

Overall, by focusing on these key areas, a crypto community can continue to grow and thrive in the fast-paced world of crypto.

There are many social media platforms that can be used to grow crypto communities. Some of the most popular ones include:

1- Reddit: Reddit is a social media platform that allows users to create and participate in online communities, known as “subreddits,” focused on specific topics. There are many subreddits dedicated to crypto, where members can share news, discuss developments in the space, and ask questions.

2- Twitter: Twitter is a social media platform that allows users to share short messages, known as “tweets,” with other users. Many individuals and organizations in the crypto space use Twitter to share news, updates, and other information with their followers.

3- Telegram: Telegram is a messaging app that allows users to create and join public or private groups for discussions on specific topics. There are many Telegram groups for crypto communities, where members can share information and engage with one another.

4- Discord: Discord is a messaging app that is popular among gamers, but has also been adopted by many crypto communities. It allows users to create and join public or private channels for discussions and voice and video calls.

Overall, there are many social media platforms that can be used to grow crypto communities. The best platform will depend on the specific needs and goals of the community.

The author said a lot, but simply stated some objective facts, but this subject has too much content. There are more theories. The method of actually building a community is not mentioned, this is the core.

Re: None active projects on social media

Good day everyone, I want to keep this question short and simple.

If a project is not active enough on their social media account like Twitter is this a red flag or a reason not to invest in the project.

Twitter is full of new projects, and there are countless bounty programs. There are new projects in all fields of the encryption world. What I am more concerned about today is that Ronaldo will issue NFT on Binance Chain. I don’t know Are you interested?

Re: The worst events in Crypto history
by

on 16/11/2022, 06:47:55 UTC
The worst events in Crypto history:
• Mt. Gox Hack ('14)
• The Dao Hack  ('16)
• Celsius collapse ('22)
• Terra Luna Collapse ('22)
• Binance hack fuds ('22)
• FTX files for bankruptcy ('22)
• 3AC Collapse ('22)
5 of the worst events in Crypto happened this year.
If you survived this year, you've earned your stripes.

I also feel very sorry for these things. This year's bear market has been a cold winter, and it has snowed a lot. Everyone inevitably encounters various problems. But I feel that it is still a good trend. Centralized exchanges have frequent problems, which means that the importance of decentralized exchanges is even more prominent. People's awareness and awareness are also gradually improving.

Re: Bitcoin Vs Cash which is more secure
by
mathenye
on 10/11/2022, 07:19:43 UTC
Each of it has benefits and disadvantages. I would say it depends on how you care for it and where you need it.
For example if you would (and could) make payments for daily purchases it's quite different than storing value for your savings.
Of course, cash is more suited as a currency while Bitcoin is more suited as a store of value.
There are still some unforseen issues which can affect Cash and / or Bitcoin but in general I would say Cash is better for purchases and Bitcoin is better as a store of value.

I do international trade, and for me, bitcoin is more convenient, of course I think security depends not only on bitcoin itself, but also my hardware wallet. Banking For me, security is a factor that I ignore, more of a habit.

If you are too greedy, you will fall into the arms of liars, and where there are people, there will be politics, there will be rulers, and the greedy will be taken advantage of.
