Hi there!

I have a little miner with 2 GPUs (rx580 and rx470) and it stops working every 4-5 hrs.
The complete system freezes, and does not reboot until a hard reset.
My only clue is the log file:

Hi!

I have 2 rx470 8GB cards with modded BIOS, aug 23 AMD driver installed, and OverdriveNTool for oc.
I have 2 questions:

1, If I mine ETH+DCR I have 51/1550 hashrate, if I mine ETC+DCR than 48/1440. WHY?
2, If I use claymore 10.0 I have almost 1 mhs less than with claymore 9.8 with same settings. WHY?

Those are all being mined heavily

So I think what the idea would be is to mine the smaller, less mined coins and hope that you can choose the ones that pick up in value in the near future

Watch for brand new coins and set up the PC to mine at least ten of these every month. Download the wallet for the coin on the PC, mine when it is brand new for a couple days and you will get a good bunch of coins since the diff is so low in the beginning.

Can you suggest one or more pages to look for brand new altcoins with low difficulty please?

Anyone else geting error from "stratum+tcp://sia.suprnova.cc:2786" or "sia.suprnova.cc:7777"?

What exactly did you tune? What's your memory vendor?
Try copying the 1750MHz strap to 2000MHz if you have Micron or Samsung.

In afterburner I set -60 mV, +50% power, 1110 core clock, 2000 mem clock.
I did look good, and mining ETH only it worked at least 20 mins, but dual ETH+DCR glitches came, than crash, but HWinfo showed nothing.

Dual mining uses more power, so you can't lower clocks as much. Zcash is the same. You need tested stable settings for each situation.

Does this seem a fair result: 27 ETH + 755 DCR ?

If u go in whattomine and put 27 mh eth and 755 decred it will say you are doing 125 dollars month
If you the same with eth + sia coin will be 220 dollars

Sia is more profitable now

Hello guys!

A little help needed here

My card is an ASUS RX470 STRIX GAMING 8GB OC with micron memory, and I'm doing dual mining ETH+DCR with claymore. And using afterburner for tuning.
I tried a lot of variations but my best was 25MH/s ETH + 780 DCR. (or 26MH/s single)
drivers: 16.9.1, 16.9.2, 17.5.2
gpu: 1000, 1025, 1040, 1050, 1100, 1150, 1200, 1250
mem: 1750+
straps: 1500, 1625, 1750

At the moment I'm mining with 16.9.2, 1100gpu, 1900mem, 1750 straps (this seems stabile and the best so far)
Highest was 28.5MH/s with 17.5.2, 1200gpu, 2100mem, 1750straps, but GPU failed over and over again.

Also tried WattTool, and copied the settings Insider posted, but could not get better result at all, and most times my pc crashed.

What are these huge, established coins exactly? I'm asking coz I'm mining ETH and DCR right now.

As far as I know its SAPPHIRE RX470 NITRO+ 8GB with Hynix RAM, if you can get from somewhere, even if its used.
