Re: Transaction fee much higher than what I will be sending

Dont know which exchange or application you are using but that transaction fee is ridiculous! Its even higher than your own asset lol, the fees should always depends on how much you are transferring but its not your case as shown in the image, Even tho we know how pumped up Bitcoin and Ethereum are that fee is beyond my imagination already....

This is why I do not use any app/exchange, always looking on the small fees one but secured! Maybe next time, try to use exchanges like T1 exchanges which has small fees.. Im using Kucoin to buy Ethereum and also for withdrawals but havent encounter such high fees than my assets

IMO, DOGE isnt actually overprice but its been overvalued or over hyped. Given its currently risk and hurdles, it seems to me that dogecoin is overvalued relative to its rewards

It's so difficult to make a single transactions now under Ethereum blockchain. A very high gas fees are killing small investors and traders. But miners would love to see gas fees going to the moon because they benefited from it. However, this is not good for Ethereum in the long run, their users/consumers are suffering but their miners are enjoying this high gas fees.
Also, Ethereum competitors will surely grab this high gas fees opportunity. It's not good.
When will the Ethereum gas fee go down? Anyone knows?

Yes, that's why miners were preventing the implementation of ethereum improvement proposal 1599

This caused by miner can't earn the crazy fees again from the users

https://nairametrics.com/2021/02/07/miners-earn-a-whopping-3-5-million-per-hour-on-ethereum-network/

This time the tx fees are around $4 for ethereum tx and $8 - 10$ for the token transfer. Can you afford it? it's quite low right now dude. No one knows when the tx fees will decrease but it's likely the fees will sustain at this level until the implementation of EIP.

Correct!!! But buterin should do something into this gas fees since its too much to be honest.

Re: What is USDT And How To Make The Best Use Of It?
by

on 13/02/2021, 06:20:54 UTC
I always like to trade in usdt pair. I am feeling comfortable when i trade with a stable coin. BTW, I am using usdt for trading and sending any type of payment.

same with me, I trade most of the time with $USDT as its a stablecoin and the price wont vary with the volatility. I usually trade my Bitcoin to USDT when I sell mine specially when there's huge pump so it wont get the dump because of the selling pressure that it has. Tether is the best one when you dont want your assets to go pump and dump

Go to coinmarketcap site and select top 10 altcoins and diversify your investment in those coins and those coins will not disappoint you in long term as investing in any other sites is very risky as they will surely run away with your money in long term but make sure that you do good research before investing your money anywhere.
Yep! Coinmarketcap is the answer on what you should invest your money with.. I always go with the top 10, those are the best when it comes to volatility and profit

Just make sure that there's an escrow that will middle in every transactions you made so that you can assure your safety as well pick those trusted escrow with good experience in the said job and don't pick those cheap guys telling that they offer a escrow service to add more security on transactions.

What is an escrow? Ive never heard it before but looks like its a middle-man something like that?

Re: I have 1000 usd , where to invest ,
by
maxig.boroday
on 04/02/2021, 05:38:47 UTC

hi guys
I am wondering where you guys ll invest 1000 usd, which has got a chance to get insane profit.
Please can you give reason as well
Thanks

Just always remember this phrase when you are investing to DO NOT PUT IT ALL IN ONE BASKET or else, you will lose it all in one snap!
It would be great if you will be able to divide your $1000 to different projects like some of the major and some of the altcoins. Try to invest on the top 10 that Coinmarketcap has on its list.

Ofcourse try to put more on the top 1 in the cryptocurrency market which is the BTC! I mean, thats a given, just do not buy when price is pumping or like now that it is on $37,000 as correction might happen soon and may lead to your investment loss. Just watch its price, it recently even go down to $28000, seize that opportunity to buy!

The next one ofcourse is Ethereum, as you can see as days/weeks passed by, its even gaining and gaining even more but like with BTC, buy when it had its correction..

Maybe just do it like 40% BTC, 30% ETH then the other 30% could go on the other alts like $DOT and $KSM

In my experience, buying at the peak can really make you go lose specially when the bubble pops as the price will drastically go down but I think its not right to call them idiots since some of them might be a newbie or noobs in the cryptocurrency market.

They might have no choice but to buy the peak but imo thats not a good move at all specially for long term holdings , maybe on shorting it, it will work but not with longing it. Bitcoin price is pretty volatile as you can see so shorting/ swing trades for it will work.

Re: Would you take a crypto loan?
by
maxig.boroday
on 02/02/2021, 06:51:14 UTC
"I would like to borrow my cryptocurrencies with an interest" is confusing. Did you mean lend?

You can visit the lending board and see how veteran lenders do their business https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=65.0

Lending cryptocurrencies has it's risk and rewards. Due to the market's volatility, you never really know if you'll profit or not. If you don't care about the fiat value, I think there is nothing to worry about.

What cryptocurrencies are you planning to lend? If it's an unpopular coin or token, I don't know if someone will even take that.

I think lending bitcoin and ethereum will be the best option as there's more demand on it

Its actually a bit hard for everyone to choose which cryptocurrency is the best to invest as you may know that most of the alts and major cryptocurrencies are having its new All time high or getting huge pumps. maybe you can play with it tho for shortings as buying the corrections of the market then selling once it hits its new high or pump.. Get to Bitcoin anyways  Grin Grin

In an eth-btc pair, what would be the end goal more btc at the end of the trade of more eth? I can’t ever decide too. what are exchanges that have decent amount of ETH-BTC volume?

We can’t decide whether it’s rational to hodl Bitcoin forever, but we can trade BTC-ETH every minute and make profit from it. Im sure you are very busy person too so its impossible for you to trade every minute so i recommend you to trade that pair at KuCoin trading Bot. it brought me some profit!

Holding $BTC imo is a good thing in my opinion as we all know how large corporations and famous people were getting into it and buying even millions of bitcoin You can also see how Bitcoin ecosystem and price are both growing year by year because of the adoptions that it is having which means that this will turn into a much larger thing on the future.

You are also talking about shorting BTC to earn from its volatility and I think its a good one if you arent planning on holding it for a long term but if you will be trading your btc, you should do it with  BTC-USDT pair as sudden fluctuations can also occur on Ethereum will might make your trade nonsense.

But this is not a good one tho, letting a trustable account to give you a feedback is like cheating unless you will be letting the owner of the account have its own personal opinion about your product or project.

Re: how to avoid fraudulent projects?
by
maxig.boroday
on 25/01/2021, 10:46:41 UTC
I think there is still a way to overcome the problem of scamers in this crypto room (but I'm not saying to eliminate it completely). . This might not have a big effect but at least it can reduce some of the fraud projects that exist in this industry. . like avoiding and not promoting suspicious projects repeatedly. .
I have always observed that many of them and even have high ratings but still support suspicious projects, especially participants (social media).
maybe this is one reason why many fraud projects are increasingly rampant, because someone always gives hope to them and makes someone trapped in it.

so what do you think?
I draw the conclusion above based on what I saw there.

DYOR is still the best thing that you can do before investing in a ceratain project, there are loads of scam projects right now on the market to be honest and its getting harder to avoid them... But doing background research can do something and lessen your chance to lose your money. Only invest what you can afford to lose anyways
