Many members here still hope that Onion will return to its proper status! Everyone is paying attention to the development team. There is no doubt that without the support of a large number of users, coins will be difficult to survive. I don't know if a miracle will appear, let us wait and see!

It's not potential, it's already invested, and it's all profitable now. I have replaced BCH and BSV with BTC, waiting for the next opportunity! good luck!
You made the right decision for switching to bitcoin because this year the spotlight is on this primary coin due to the btc halving that is few months away.

They say it can trigger the price to increase just like what happened before though its still not a 100% guarantee.

Nevertheless diversifying is still a wise decision thus if you see a good coins that has potential then grab it.

For altcoins with small market value and active development team, you can consider investing

By the altcoins with small market capitalization, i prefer to invest with xrp ripple coin. This coin has a potential even for a long term investment i think. Currently showing good performance in the market, and has a good fluctuation activity in the early of this year 2020. I think thia coin has a brigjt future.
Many investors do not like this type of xrp, which has basically become a stable currency

The market for Altcoins has been bad recently, and many Altcoins have died and lost a lot of money. What kind of Altcoins do you think will die?thanks for sharing

Updated January 9, 2020
Thank you for your suggestions. I have selected a few altcoins for investment, BCH, BSV, ONION, DASH, XMR. There are also many altcoins with small market capitalization. I hope I can get lucky and bless you all to find the investment you like.

Your list of altcoins for investment are potential. Any altcoins without future plans, workable products, backed up funds and concrete roadmap/whitepaper is sure to die.

You need to stay away from BSV as far as possible because this is a scam project. You will fail and lose money in the future if you choose to invest in it, it is better to invest in BNB and ETH. For me these are 2 altcoins much better than BSV and it will also help you to get a lot of profits
we've all heard that news yesterday. but it looks like there are still transactions being done. maybe some people still believe because yesterday also had an increase. but I agree that BSV is a fraud.
I agree with you on BSV. In the field of investment, you need to make the right operation to make a profit. So I think it ’s more reasonable to control your investment properly

The first question is, what sustains a business, project or platform? The answer to this, is what the project in question offers, that is to say if a project offers little to nothing the chances of survival will be greatly reduced; this is the fate of most coins which are now dead. Most altcoins today we're created out of hype and nothing more, they came with big whitepaper with no tangible thing to hold on to. So once they list and luckily make few moves on the exchanges they start dying off as there is nothing to sustain it. Some don't even get to exchange as the team will come up with many excuses to delay. So to answer your question, an altcoin that will survive or last long term is one which have something to offer to the world at large.
In fact, all altcoins are hype. Alive altcoins have a large number of users and actual use scenarios. The other is the strong support of developers and the community

Re: Why most of ALTCOINS are dead or worthless?

Because ico is easy to deceive funds, and the benefits are realized in advance, the development team naturally has no confidence to continue development. It is easier to write a white paper for a project.

I'm happy that many altcoin have died 😁 what we want left in crypto space are projects that are at least good and useful, bear market seem to be the doctor that can fix these bacteria call shitcoins, if you can invest in top altcoins you will be fine
We do not have to be happy if an altcoin die but we have to be happy if a coin which do not have any purpose or benefit to the blockchain and they die as in the previous year I saw a number of projects which were from the well known companies and one was from a university but the investors did not took the interest because of the market situation and they failed to acheve a targeted fund for these project I am sad that they failed in their projects. I wish that they relaunch their projects.
Successful projects should not raise funds from the community. Onion is the best example. Although the price is now low, it is worth learning by many development teams.

For me, Altcoins that do have a future are those that can be able to adapt and survive into any circumstances or challenges being brought by the volatile market which makes them to evolve or improve their prices despite of the downfall and known for their credibility and reliability as a coin even the market is down. Once that Altcoin have surpass the challenge of a down fall market and continues to survive after it, for me it is an Altcoin that do have a future because it must not be easily downed for it has a high quality that makes people believe on it and rely on it added by people still continue to bring demand on purchasing it for they hope that the Altcoin have future to grow and improve in terms of price and every aspects needed to be considered.
Agree with you, there will be someone who buys the future coin to maintain the price

So far indeed sounds pretty interesting, thank you for your recommendation. And how much is 1 token? A lot? Agree with you on pretty objective and real practical value

Nope, it is only 0,2 USD and 60% discount, as I remember. Have a look at their IEO page on ExMarkets
The price of each coin is different. For example, the lowest onion price was about 0.13 usd. Today, the highest price is 0.3 USD.I think there are reasons why Onion is worth investing, these need you to discover

Every legit projects starts with hope of accomplishing their goals but most projects have bad teams that change their ways after money gets involved, there are many competitions in crypto space but most problems are from the team
Do you still believe there is a good project right now? I Personally, may have lost confidence in the current project because what is offered by a project usually often becomes nonsense after they get money from investors, in fact we can see today how many projects that really provide benefits for the investor after the sale of their project has been completed?
So when you decide to invest in a project, try to look at the team's actions as much as possible

If you cannot find some altcoins to invest to, you should do some research and look for some promising coins there. Also, you can just rely on the top ranking of coins in the market place. Check out the Top 20 on the market and do some research about those coin for you to be able to filter those coin that is promising or not.
The potential of the Top 20 should have a large increase in altcoins with low market capitalization. So I choose some premium altcoins as a supplement

I think that ETH has limited growth space in the future. After there is no ICO, the use of ETH is limited.

EOS is a completely hyped project, and there is really no prospect to refer to BTS, STEEM
Limited growth? Im not sure for that. Vitalk do some researchers and developers of Ethereum 2.0 it's will keep going and be better. Ethreum not talking about service smart contract in ICO, I believe their will be more idea with ethereum in future. Ethereum like acceptable in many field to helping out business process.
I see it this way, the success of ETH in the last bull market relied entirely on ICO. ICO is currently banned and not welcomed by the market, the prospect of ETH will not be too good

Did you try looking more informations about Ethereum or EOS? They like have good prospect on idea or things. Wish you have luck with your ALTcoins.

Well, I don't get it? The op is different from the title, the title of the topic says what alternative coin will have a future, but the op says what alternative coin will die, I get confused there. But I will answer both just I case, I think there are many altcoins that are worthy and doing good performance ans enough for them to use, but if I have a favorite then I will choose ETH and XRP I think these two coins will be a great use in the future, I know there's more, but I choose those two as my opinion. Meanwhile, in the question of what altcoins will die well, I don't know there are many altcoins there, and I know many will also died because they are new and can't gain any popularity from the start.

I never invested yet in BCH but it seems like people were recommending it to you so I'll just follow your tracks. If you may also OP, update your experience throughout your investment at those coins. DASH was the only coin I really know from the list you made from your update.
Because they attracted the attention of many people. I think it's worth attending

Good luck to you on those coins and I have to admit you chose some good profitable coins! BSV, BCH has a negative reputation but that doesn't mean those are not investing worthy! Rather BCH can give you more profit than Ethereum! Though I have no hope in Onion, but other coins are good to go! Good luck once again!
BSV, BCH prices performed well today. They were chosen because they felt profitable because they attracted the attention of many people. Onion is also the same as the current market value is low, the transaction volume is also very low, which is a performance near the bottom. At the same time they have a stable development team, many things are very transparent, deepsend anonymous technology has great innovation, I believe there is a bright future
