Some of my kraken margin trades are being reported as income. Is that right?
Hi maxvan1.
That's correct. Earnings from margin trades are imported as income.

Ok but they're capital gains/losses and should go on my 8949, right? Can the software export them as an attachment to the 8949?

@maxvan1

In general you should enter ALL your wallets and ALL your transactions. The more accurate is the result in your account. And of course the Kraken transactions would gave your portfolio a more complete picture.
KuCoin could be imported via API, Coinbase as well with no API limitations by the exchange.
TradeOgre we do support via CSV.

Thanks Andreas -- part of my issue was that some exchanges include deposits/withdrawals, while some do not. I had to go in and manually correct it.

I just purchased a Pro account and uploaded my trades from TradeOgre, Kucoin, and Coinbase

The way I typically purchased coins was by depositing USD to Coinbase, buying BTC, withdrawing BTC to Kucoin or TradeOgre and purchasing altcoins (exclusively Loki).

When I go to view balance, it shows an incorrect amount of Loki and it also shows that I have a **negative** bitcoin balance. But if I go to go gains/losses, it shows a correct amount of Loki, while still showing a **negative** BTC balance.

What is going on with this? How can I have a negative BTC balance? Also, do I need to manually input my withdraws from Coinbase?

*Edit: I should also note that I have not yet uploaded my Kraken transactions; maybe that will fix the negative btc balance issue?

answers on discord, here is transcript if you want to laugh:

Your question: How do pay-out brokers mitigate against risks associated with market fluctuations?
My Answer: The graft articles specifically state that exchange brokers assume risk in exchange for reward. Specific risks associated with market fluctuation could be mitigated by shorting or longing the currency of choice.

I am not a dev or associated with the team but I do follow the project.

I have 9 msi aero itx 4gb rx550's.  ive used the one click bios modded method and cant get these cards to mine stable unless they are stock with zero changes in afterburner.  I could use some help with this if anybody is willing to help out.  id even be willing to send some mined coin once I get them figured out for your trouble!!

I have this exact issue. MSI Aero ITX 4gb. Can't get them stable unless completely stock and one thread on XMR stak. I've tried afterburner and OverdriveNtool for overclocking. Sucks being stuck at 250h/s.

Has anyone got the MSI Aero ITX 4gb with hynix to get even close to 400h/s stable?

Yeah, I have a pile of these cards, too.  I've got them around 360 on CN-v7....trying to push towards 400.  If I can even get close, I'll share my bios.  Every other 550 I have, especially the 2GB cards are 425-460 all day long.....

How did you do it? Are you dual threading or single?

https://www.graft.network/2018/06/26/ico-airdrop-clarification/

Now under normal circumstances I would say this was a risk to investors they chose to take.
However, ASICS hit at the same time Tradeogre NINJA LAUNCHED which means that  the ICO price of around 30 cents fell to 3 cents Literally off just a handful of trades!

This made the 500 usd of 1500 graft worth about  1500x0.03cents= 45 dollars....

Good post .

To be quite honest, I think the ASIC explanation is a load of shit. The issue is the emission curve. Any explanation of the price discrepancy between ICO and market must consider emission curve, and I think the team know that.

Investing in an ICO presents risks, such as the coin being worth less than you paid. The airdrop is suspicious, and I suspect it is self-serving.

Edit: and it's not about the electricity or price of coins..of course some people will get coins cheaper than others. This issue is that the airdrop creates weird market incentives, it was some-what hidden for months, and its appears to be a poor business decision. Why not a coin burn? I understand the promise has been made, and the team is sticking to it..but it's so freaking stupid.

I posted(and quickly removed) the issue with timestamps and orphaned blocks to reddit yesteday.

Easyhash.io orphaned 20+ blocks in a row--it definitely seems like there is some sort of issue.

Re: Overclocking Vega Frontier Edition--How? No Wattman.

Thank you! I worked my way through the guide with a fresh windows 10 install. That soft power play reg edit is awesome. My 56/64's are running much cooler now. All went to plan except that when I try to disable/enable the Vega FE in the device manager my system crashes:

I am able to disable the FE card in device manager, but when I go to reenable I get error code 43 and Windows disables the card. I tried a few times--sometimes the card disables due to error, and sometimes I get a system crash.

I also tried to toggle HBM Mem on/off using the AMD software, but I get a system crash. The crash consists of the screen fragmenting, then restarting.

Any thoughts as to why? I am planning to add a little more physical memory. I only have 4 gigs. (virtual memory is 60+gig).

Overclocking Vega Frontier Edition--How? No Wattman.
by

I have a 3x vega 64 rig mining XMR at 5850h/s. I added a Vega FE and lost Wattman. So I installed afterburner, but it doesnt appear to work.

I am using Beta Blockchain Drivers.

I googled and looked all over the forums, but I cannot find anything about how people are overclocking and adjusting fan speeds on Vega FE. Anyone have a link or tips? Do I need 3rd party overclock software (other than afterburner)?

Thanks in advance!

Try
Code:
screen -list

To get a list of active screens. What does that give you?

It gives me:
Code:
No sockets found in /var/run/screen/S-m1.

Just switched to stopgap and I can't get it to launch the mining software. It sets all the overclocking and echos the prompt to view using "screen -r miner", but when I open a quake terminal and input screen -r miner, that screen cannot be found. I tried a couple reinstalls, tried switching from claymore 10 to claymore 9.5 to Genoils. None worked.

Ideas?

Thank you for the fantastic work and support, FullZero and community.
