Did the bounty get cancelled?

Most of the important links for bounty hunters don't work and there's been low response.

Pick and choose form useful ANN threads. Usually there's a section (that's pretty big) and it's just a screen cap of the website. Make on of those. Beef it up with some business writing.

Re: what do you think about electric cars?

I think it's awesome. Love the idea of a clean energy society, and I think it's inevitable.

But it's hard to get rid of the sound and feel of combustion.

Re: How can I quit smoking?
by

on 05/08/2018, 11:55:37 UTC
You stop smoking.

The hard part isn't quitting, it's deciding to quit.

First step is to become more aware of your actions, and not just smoking.

Notice how you know you want to quit, and it's unhealthy to smoke, but you still CHOOSE to do it.

Ponder that...

It won't be easy, but it's simple.

Re: Is blockchain the answer for poverty-stricken countries?
by

Maybe it'll end up that way. I think it'll start by helping corporations automate their paperwork (basically). With the increased efficiency with large corporations and startups, ideally it will allow developing countries to develop relatively quicker.

It's good news if you're getting into it right now, and even better if you got in the year before, and even BETTER if you got in a year before that.

The wave is coming!

Re: Bounty or Airdrops ??
by

It's basically the same thing, because they both require at least some work.

But, bounties are typically better because they require more work, and the companies require valuable work, hence, willing to pay more for it.

No. I'm starting to realize that gov't want cryptos in their system. Will it be completely decentralized? Probably not... But I think it'll be a step in the right direction.

I think you're right, but BTC will always be the main store of value do to it's market position as the first crypto. Since all these dapps are being released with ETH, it's a good time to ride that wave to stack BTC

This is the kind of news we need! and not only the news, but the underlying sentiment. "slowly" increasing over time until it's a totally normal part of life.

Re: is crypto industry dangerous ?
by

Cryptos are dangerous to the centralized financial institutions.

but, they could benefit from it if they find out how to use it and retain, or increase, power.

Really hard to say. Decentralization is going to be difficult for the masses to implement, though not impossible.

Lot of people would need to 'wake up', and that's not easy.

From what I've seen there's a lot of positive sentiment about ZRX, and that's just within the cryptosphere.

I can't speculate on the actually price, but long-term, assuming it sticks around, I could see double digits.

by

This year? Hard to say.

There's still a large amount of people that will end up FOMOing into crypto, and there are so many projects that will see gains, regardless of their usefulness.

And ETH has an enormous lead. I wouldn't be surprised to see $15k, but it would be insane to see.

You're not alone. There are so many factors that determine price action that it's impossible to understand.

Keep your investments relevant to your risk tolerance. Makes everything less confusing (kinda).

Re: Invest in ICO or buy BTC?
by
maxwellfreeman
on 27/07/2018, 03:52:02 UTC
Depending on your tolerance to risk, both.

Put a portion into BTC for the long haul, and invest in quality projects aside from that.

It's common to try to increase BTC holdings with ICOs and altcoins.

Re: Upcoming 3-4x Coins
by

There are a lot that will do that. If BTC goes on another massive bull run, even the worst coins will do that and more

I've been thinking only select coins will ride with the BTC bull, but recently I've been thinking, maybe we're earlier to the crypto game than that.

Maybe an obvious majority will rise like they did in Q4 2017. Currently looking into this specifically.

Of course it's possible. We've seen it's ability to rise rapidly. The question is then, is it probable?

That's a whole different conversation.

Re: Does crypto offer riches overnight?
by
maxwellfreeman
on 27/07/2018, 03:39:42 UTC
The thing is, you can get rich overnight with crypto, or at least relatively rich in a very short amount of time.

But, it's not typically something to bet on, or go all-in on.

So yes, it does offer riches overnight. Very VERY specifically, and scarcely, and randomly.

Re: How safe is our money in crypto?
by
maxwellfreeman
on 27/07/2018, 03:36:18 UTC
Well, it depends. Do you think cryptocurrency is here to stay? Are you able to ensure the security of your tokens?

If yes to both, then it's mostly a matter of securing the right coins long-term.

How safe are your security methods?
