I opened port 8884 and that seems to have allowed the wallet to begin synching.  Now only 260,000 + blocks to go, lol

Tried to get something very basic up for a website.  http://www.cryptosoil.com/ . I have no experience doing this, so I know it still needs work, but it's a start. Nice work Marty. I will send you some Soil later today.  I like Altsheets idea of off exchange trading to get activity in coin moving again. I was thinking, SOIL is an eth based coin and Escrow contracts were supposed to be one of the most promising use cases for its smart contract capability. Can we get a smart contract running on soil  that facilitates a trustless peer to peer exchange of BTC for SOIL or even ETH for SOIL?  If we get a small peer to peer market running with soil smart contracts, there could be lot of potential to scale it out and integrate with wallet GUI to attract more users and add utility to coin. Would this be worth a
Community bounty for a working contract?

Node taking forever to sync and get error every 40k blocks or so that no peers are available, but continues from previous block immediately every time I restart the gsoil.exe. Will stick with it and continue restarting until synched but it will take a while at this rate. Any pointers appreciated. Thx

Only a few eth-fork alt coins on market right now and eth is a runaway train.  Expanse has taken off.  SOILcoin is in same category with solid developer, but is completely undervalued.  https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/soilcoin/.  At current price low risk with potential for high reward

Eth is getting a major lift off samsung news.  As one of the few eth forks on the market right now, this may best time to focus the public and potential investors on how soil is going to be part of the innovation explosion in block chain tech. Would help poloniex listing chances too. Marketcap of soilcoin should be on par with expanse.

Shame to sell so low from developer account.  Is it possible to implement an early switch to POS instead of POW?  Ethereum is headed in the direction eventually and you'd get rid of a lot of selling pressure. 

Neucoin just announced plans to switch to full POS ahead of schedule and price has already rebounded, just on anticipation of POW stopping alone https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/neucoin/.
