This was already reported, but its been happening for days now:
[2013-12-30 17:01:20] Stratum connection to pool 0 interrupted [2013-12-30 17:02:06] Stratum connection to pool 0 interrupted [2013-12-30 17:03:14] Stratum connection to pool 0 interrupted [2013-12-30 17:05:14] Stratum connection to pool 0 interrupted [2013-12-30 17:10:55] Stratum connection to pool 0 interrupted [2013-12-30 17:11:13] Stratum connection to pool 0 interrupted
It is steadily doing that about 20-30 times an hour, it didn't do that at all before 2 days ago. It can't be good for my share rate, it resumes after about 10 seconds each time it drops. If it was a coin change, that would be a "Network diff set to" message, but there isn't.
Try middlecoin.com:8080 or eu.middlecoin.com
switching to eu.middlecoin.com solved this problem for me earlier today.
I tried eu last week and saw a significant drop in payout. Not sure if it is related or not. I just switched to 8080 on the non-eu so we'll see.
EDIT: switched to 8080 and still seeing the same interruption problems. Just switched to the eu server again and it works just fine. However, is anyone else seeing much lower payouts with the eu server?

Re: [ANN] profit switching auto-exchanging pool - middlecoin.com
Is anyone else still getting a lot of network interruptions using the non-eu server? The eu server works fine but I'm in the US so I'd prefer using the US server.
Yeah I have been seeing a lot of those as well but it has not seem to be effecting mining to much now that I figured out the issue with my low estimated hash rate. When I was on the EU server it did not seem that it was paying out properly but it may have just been the increase in the number of miners on that are using middlecoin, but I have been mining on the US server for the last day or so and even with the interrupts the pay outs seem to be close to what they were before the increase in miners.
I don't believe the server should affect the payout/earnings...but can anyone else confirm?

Re: [ANN] profit switching auto-exchanging pool - middlecoin.com
I have two payments on Dec 22nd that show up on my middlecoin account and paid and appear on blockchain.info but neither payment is showing up in my coinbase account.
But when i check coinbase these amounts are not there (was suppose to be paid yesterday). if it shows up on the ledger, doesn't it have to be in the account? why am I missing these payments for both addresses on this date?
I would message Coinbase support about this - If the payment was sent to the correct address and shows up in the blockchain then the pool/you did everything right.
Ok, I will do that. So, just to be clear, if it's in the blockchain ledger, the payment happened? Makes me very nervous that coinbase might have not seen/received my payment...
Yeah, as long as the blockchain shows the transfer, and the address the BTC was sent to matches the Coinbase one (have you received payments to these addresses before through middlecoin?), then unless there was a fork (which we would know about) you should have received your payment. I also receive payments from middlecoin to Coinbase, and last nights came through fine. If you message support and reference the blockchain transaction id then they should be able to look into it / resolve it fairly quickly.
yes, I have been paid before on both of the addresses I used...but both did not come through yesterday. thanks for the info, I reached out to coinbase and they are looking into it. very concerning though...

I have recently bought a sapphire radeon r9 280x for litecoin mining. I have tried several different cgminer settings and so far this is giving me the best results so far ( 700 kh/s )
Ive read people get 750 kh/s with this card, so if anyone can help me out with that? I tried playing with thread concurrency and set it to 11200, also set memclock lower but none of those help.
Also i heard about undervolting the card, but i am not really confident doing that.
You should be able to get at least 735-740. Try changing TC to 8191 and gpu engine to 1045 or 1050.
Just mess around with the values of gpu engine and TC. You'll find a sweet spot.
