Masternode collateral is 15.000 GALI

No fees are because it is an incentive for users who start to use much more complex private coin staking with zPoS and in case of troubles requires different investigation than public staking. Another reason for no fees are that you can convert as much as you want to zGALI but if you convert back or send to a GALI address you can include max 7 spends in a single transaction.

There are zGALIs before activation block because we forked it "as is" from PIVX and forgot to set SPORK_16_ZEROCOIN_MAINTENANCE_MODE and in PIVX exists previously 2 versions of zPIV (v1 without zPoS and v2 with zPoS). Some code for Zerocoin (especially some block heights) have been hardcoded into the source. In our case it results in the following that first zGALI mint is in block 247432.

This is an important announcement we would like to share in the forum as well:

After much consideration we finally reached a point where the future development of Galilel needed a legal entity both from a business as well as from a legal perspective. Therefore we will legally establish a corporation. The complete costs to establish the corporation will be paid by team members.

Without a corporation behind the project we will be stuck very soon. The project as a whole operates in a B2B business environment. We currently don't have the ability to enter into legally binding business contracts. While until now it wasn't necessary the next tier of business partners will require a legal entity in order to enter into an contractual agreement (Google Play Store, Apple Store and Snapcraft to name a few, but also established exchanges and pretty much everyone else in the real world). Besides that just like in the real world this will leave a more serious impression as in general people tend to pay much more respect when someone writes them with a company in the letter head or signature.

While until now we concentrated on development and have a well established track record of progress there, this will mark the first huge step we take from a business perspective. It will set us up for the long term and will ensure that we are recognized as a serious project. It also opens up new business opportunities by giving us a legal umbrella under which we can operate.

crypto_pj it is fine to stake with multiple wallets on a single system. As long as you don't overcommit memory and run into memory exhaustion everything is fine.

Yes the current wallet is a straight fork from PIVX with our Dynamic Zerocoin feature, but the GUI wallet is pretty much untouched. We have already several ideas to improve it, some are minor like tweaking the UI/UX and layout a bit while keeping the functionality. However major improvement is to replace Qt wallet with a micro webserver and use a modern frontend framework to build a system independent interface.

Just to make it clear:

- You asked us to defalcate a reasonable amount of Galilel from community deposits for your retirement and leaving plan. It is not possible from legal point of view, we explained the situation often enough that we have to follow rules and laws in our country as this is an escrow fund. The community trust is backed by projects transparency in decision making process.

- We offered two things to you:
1) Make a community vote about your leaving payment request, you didn't accepted it because result may not be what you expect. It is community driven currency, so community has a voice.

2) Even better, we offered to make a masternode budget proposal with superblocks for it, when it is stabilized, you didn't accepted it. We would even support this from team and convince masternode holders to vote for it but it is no instant cash out.

From business perspective it is very strange behavior. You ask for some money, turn off some weeks, come back and ask for more money. If we don't pay you will start saying bad words. This is rough style for business negotiations. We made an offer which is fair as it involves community.

We pushed already in GitHub a fix for recently discovered resource exhaustion attacks against PoS chains.

- Vulnerability 1:

It is called "I Can't Believe it's not Stake" attack. It was introduced while merging upstream headers first feature into PoS forks. It fills a victims node memory until resources are exhausted and node may crash due to out of memory condition. Codebase is not affected by it.

- Vulnerability 2:

It is called "Spent Stake" attack. It was discoverd while investigating vulnerability 1 above. It works because block verification ensures that the coin exists, but not that it is unspent. After forking of the main chain the coinstake transaction is still validated against the main chain TxDB. It allows to generate arbitrary amount of apparent stake and inject it into victims node. Codebase is fixed with the commit above.
