Re: How to protect yourself and others from scammers?
by
mcgeil
on 03/11/2018, 19:37:34 UTC
My method of protection against fraudsters is simple.  I participate only in those ICO projects that do not cause me a single question in the process of its implementation, in the team of this project and also in the roadmap of the project.  It is difficult to restrain myself from investing in some projects, but the result is that I have never been caught in the tricks of fraudsters before this time.

by

KYC video check already exists, but the process of its passage is even more complicated than the standard KYC.  I will not indicate the site on which a KYC video check is required, but I will list the required actions to complete it:
 1) Download the front and back of your icon

 2) Then enter your personal information.

 3) Here you can choose your language.

 4) Click “Save and Continue” to continue.

 5) Enter the received code from your mobile phone

 6) And click "send"

 7) Click "Save and Continue" again

Cool To confirm the information about Form A, click "continue"

 9) Select the date and time to identify the video.

 10) And confirm using the "Date of dispatch"

 11) Click “Go to Overview”.

 12) You will receive a confirmation email to identify the video

 13) In addition, you will receive an email with a reminder of the appointment

! 14) Reload the page before the video identification begins.

 15) Accept the terms and start the video call.

 16) Prepare your ID card for video chat

 17) Follow the instructions

 18) In addition, you will receive a confirmation email after a successful video identification

 19) Click "SMS Code"

 20) Enter the received SMS code

 21) And click "send",

 22) Here you can download a digitally signed form

 23) Here you can see the validity of your digital signature

 24) After successful verification, you will receive an email with reference code.  Be sure to specify the reference code in the payment details.
 It is incredibly difficult!

Re: Year of the "DOGE"

It seems to me that Dogecoin may fail if it does not receive adequate support from the community.  The more stores and people will use DOGE as a payment method, the higher its demand.  However, there is a chance that it will not appear on the trading floors, and therefore will not receive the necessary popularity.

At the moment, it is difficult to determine whether this project is fraudulent. But it can be said for sure that this project is unlikely to succeed in the future and the cost of its tokens will increase after ico.  If I were you, I would sell the crypto currency of this project.

Re: STELLAR silent killer ETH

I learned to ignore the loud news regarding crypto currencies.  I begin to react and analyze any crypto currency only after concrete actions from its developers. The news also promised us a huge increase in cryptocurrency, which was not fixed in any way, and also the news provided a huge amount of ethereum killers — but no crypto currency ever reached this  goals.

Re: What do you think about blockchain games?
by

Blockchain solves many problems, especially in free-to-play games.  Blockchain allows you to make the entire gaming market transparent, store data in a distributed form, which greatly complicates the use of cheating and deception.  We can follow the movements of values that exist in different games with the help of the Blockchain: to see who and from whom we transferred.  If something happened, then you can calculate the specific unscrupulous person.

Re: Is it better to exchange your altcoins for dollars or btc?
by

On some altcoins, you can earn money because of their volatility.  But, generally speaking, not a single Altcoin has achieved its established goals, and moreover has not replaced the crypto currency from the top 5.  So, especially today, I would recommend changing altcoins to fiat money or crypto currencies from the top 5.

Re: Will Cryptocurrencies rise or fall

Analyzing the graphs of the main crypto currencies, we can say that in the near future no significant movements of the graph up or down are foreseen.  Perhaps traditionally there will be a slight movement of the indicators of crypto currency graphs up on the eve of the new year, but in general the main line of the graphs will be straight.

Everyone was repeatedly warned that they would invest only money that could be donated to the purchase of cryptocurrency.  If you adhere to this rule, then you will not worry about any current situation in the crypto foreign exchange market.  In the situation described by you, you just need to continue to keep your crypto currency assets and wait for better times.

Re: does ethereum end?
by
mcgeil

This is not the end of the ETH and it will not leave the crypto currency market anytime soon. Now ethereum does not have the same serious fundamental support from the ICO as it was last year. The rate of Ethereum is declining this year, precisely because the initial token placement projects exchanged their assets for fiat money.

Re: Who controls the market?
by
mcgeil
on 23/10/2018, 15:42:43 UTC
As before, today the market for cryptocurrencies is controlled by the whales - these are large players who own a huge amount of cryptocurrencies and can control the market by buying and selling assets.  The main feature of a whale is the presence of a large amount of cryptocurrency.  Its main goal is to manage the rate of this crypto currency for its own benefit, and for this it is necessary that the coin be in demand and very popular. Whales are a normal phenomenon for any market.  Large asset holders always set the development vector and combine to guide the market.  As long as they are interested in the crypto currency they are holding, they are also interested in the fact that it does not collapse.

Re: Do you think mining is still fair
by
mcgeil
on 22/10/2018, 13:54:10 UTC
You are right. The situation with the mining is very sad and, if it continues like this, then the miners will stop their work and the blockchain will no longer comply with its basic principle of operation. Everyone understands this and the way out of the situation will be to develop new coins with a good reward or increase the reward for work  miners in already existing crypto currencies. But it can be said for sure that without mining, the main functions of the crypto currencies will be violated and therefore mining will never disappear.

I think this is another news, voiced so that investors would not forget about the Monero coin. If you pay attention, you will notice that such news periodically appears for different coins and they come from various well-known representatives. Unfortunately, today
the grounds for such growth Monero are virtually absent.

Re: Choosing a Bounty Campaign?

I choose an ICO project to participate through a trusted bounty manager.  I study, evaluate and check the rating of the proposed project by the manager of the ICO project and only after that do I make a decision.

You are right that bounty hunters should do their job efficiently.  But most likely you will be understood only by those hunters who have done their work to a greater or lesser degree qualitatively up to this point. For this reason I would advise the bounty managers to do their job of checking tasks qualitatively. In this case everyone will be satisfied and win!

Re: ICO downturn
by

In any sad situation, you need to look for positives. Most ICO projects do not receive even minimal funding for further development of the project due to a lack of investors. But at the same time, projects that offer unique functionality or are simply in demand in society easily reach the required amount of funding.  The crypto currency world continues to grow thanks to high-quality and popular ICO projects, and this is not a bad thing.

Re: How much did you earn in bounty for 2018?
by
mcgeil
on 13/10/2018, 16:16:58 UTC
In 2017 there were different projects: profitable, not very profitable and fraudulent. To understand the approximate ratio of payments, I will give an example. On average, in 2017 you could earn from $ 50 to $ 1,500 to participate in a project bounty. I tried to analyze a lot of projects on different grounds, but I did not come to general conclusions. I would say that both payments for bounty and the success of any project depend on luck. The largest amount I received in 2017 for participating in bounty Company project, which lasted 4 months was 500 dollars. The smallest amount was 40 dollars and the bounty lasted about a month.
