same thing happened i powered down the psu, plugged in the second s3 and then powered it back on, all came up, then as soon as they beep it shuts down the psu. could this be a problem with my jumper cable not being adequate enough?

I use an old psu and just cut out so cables to make the jumper, although the 1200 watt didn't turn back on until I fixed the jumper cable so maybe that was the problem, I have 4 s3's 2x850watt and 1x1200 watt I'll give it another crack now that I know the 1200 watt can make 1 s3 mine

na everything is off they power on and when they do the first beep it shows off the psu unless only one s3's is plugged in, i thought the 850watt should be able to power 2 so i went and got the 1200watt thinking that would definatly handle two but same problem

ive been having problems with my s'3s
i can run one per psu fine with an 850 watt psu
when i plug the second one it turns them both off and i need to disconnect the psu for a few minutes and then power it back on
i just went out and got a 1200watt psu and the same thing happened
does it matter which pci-e ports i plug into?
should i power them on and different intervals?
i had all of them on before mining and that was fine but as they start to mine they cause the psu to stop
please help me cheers

I thought using fpgas was best to connect up more than 4 gpus without having to buy several motherboards, I thought u could plug up to 8 gpus to an fpga and use a raspberry Pi to manage them

[Open] (12of15) KnCMiner Neptune (shares will be 1/15)
by
mcmike313
on 06/12/2013, 07:01:51 UTC
Offering a 1 of 15 share option produced by the recently developed KnCMiner Neptune 3THS. All mining is fully hosted and each shares lifetime is 24 months, (2 years).

The 2 years share will commence on the first day of mining, this is obviously dependant on when the Neptune is delivered to the host.

KNCMiner have stated on their website that delivery is to be approx. Q1/Q2 of 2014.

(Work in US$ for initial share cost, then convert to current BTC price for payment which is to be made and confirmed within 6hr window, see next line)

Due to highly volatile BTC value, price will be updated every 6hr on OP to keep in line with rising/falling BTC price.

Payment is only accepted in BTC. This is so that payment can be made to KNC via BITPay

Once payment is made by shareholders and confirmed via BTC, this will determine the share percentage that the buyer will own. Once payment is made the percentage is then fixed and any rises / falls in BTC will not affect the shareholding percentage.

Price will be determined by the number of shares /percentage  paid for and confirmed against the total price of US$13,300 which includes postage to host location.

Shareholders will be confirmed upon confirmed payment for the share and not before. See confirmed list below.

There will be no reservations in lieu of payment as these shareholder places are expected to be filled very quickly.

All final shareholders will be notified via email of their purchase details including an initial payment receipt from KNCMiner. All shareholders will also be provided with the share fund wallet address which will be freely available on the blockchain.info website so that all shareholders can see full transparency of what the Neptune is producing.

All 15 shareholders will share in all dividends that the miner produces, minus the small percentage, which will be set at 0.1% which the host will retain to maintain the mining operation of the equipment. This percentage will remain constant throughout the 24 months of the hosting and will not alter for any reason, regardless of any fluctuation in the value of BTC.

(Per share) DIVIDENDS will be PAID Every Monday by 06:00PM AEDT(Australian Eastern Daylight Time). All shareholders are to provide a valid BTC address so that payment can be transferred into that account.  If for any reason the payment is unable to be transferred, then an email will be sent well in advance to advise of any delay.

If the equipment fails and is required to be returned to KNCMiner for RMA repair or replacement, or for any other downtime experienced, then the time remaining for the 2 year hosting will be suspended from the time that the failure occurred until the unit is repaired or replaced and the host is able to resume mining operations again. This way, no shareholder will lose any downtime.

The hosting cost, which as stated is going to be set at 0.1%, is the only deduction taken from all mining dividends produced and distributed to shareholders.

At this stage, the mining pool which the Neptune will be mining on is unknown, but will more than likely be one of the bigger pools.

The host will be the ultimate decider upon which pool the Neptune will be mining on, although it must be stressed that the host has in no way any affiliation with any current pool in any way.

**PM me for bitcoin address to send it to currently we require 18BTC(1.2BTC each) to fulfil the order and cover installation and powering**

Ha contracts are a dead end for the customer cex.io is just convenient for people that don't want to pre order
I will only buy hardware I physically have
Compare that to say 1 6th of a cointerra miner the price difference vs ghs is ridiculous
You are giving me not even 1 10th of the mining power with on going costs and even a longer delay then the current pre orders
The only people benefitting from mining contracts is the host
So that's not an option

I'd prefer to keep the power down and stick with ASIC chips,
Does anyone know where I can buy a fury cube with pay pal or something?
