Whatever it was, things are looking better now  :-)  28+ XVG earned within 24 hrs, I'm happy with that.
Thanks for your efforts keeping this pool alive and stable.

XVG profits seem low today, I'm not seeing my usual 25-30 XVG/day.  Payouts are spread out a lot more.  Just bad luck?

Why do the stats on Smashpool look so out of whack?
Verge Blake2s with hashrate of 10 TH/s and the TTF is 32 seconds?   I doubt it.
Doesn't look like they're finding any XVG blocks from the pool stats?

So I keep seeing a mix of information on mining Blake2s but getting paid in Litecoin...
What is it - "password x" or "-dpsw c=xvg".

This thread says both, in the first post and later in the thread.  It also says both on the site home page.
But when I first started (using password x) it wasn't working.  And then the text on the home page was changed (only part of it).

So now there is conflicting information all over.  When I tried password x, it wasn't working....

I just switched a rig over from ETC+XVG (blake2s) to ETC+SMART (keccak).
But my ETC hashrate on RX580s went from 31 mh/s down to 11 mh/s with keccak as 2nd coin.
Obviously this isn't going to work for me.

Anyone else seeing this with keccak as 2nd coin?

I'll give er a try and see if I can help mine that first block...
Are you confident about your server configuration (won't be another "PremierMiner" scenario I hope)?

Hi Claymore, could you elaborate on these kernel change and which "settings" we should be reviewing?
Are you referring to bios mods? (straps, clocks, etc?)  Or referring to -cclock -mclock -powlim -dcri -ethi and those kind of settings?

A little further guidance on your kernel statements would be appreciated.
I think we all assumed that any optimizations done previously should still work (as well or better) with versions 11.2-11.4...

thank you

Today I noticed while testing 11.3 that both my rigs power consumption started out low (as configured), but crept higher later on.
The smaller 2 card rig was drawing 130W more than normal.  Core voltage showed 1.05V in HWinfo when I had config.txt set to 875.
The larger 6 card rig was also pulling 100W more than expected after some run time.

I hadn't seen the problem on v11. Now I upgraded to 11.4 - testing so far is good.
The power consumption problem took 8-12 hours to fully develop.  Monitoring still...

Positive note - I do see very small improvement in hashrate with 11.3 / 11.4 (rx580 4GB).

Yeah I guess the math works out to about 5% annually if there is a reward every 20 days or so...

Is it normal that ALL of my coin age resets to 0 after I receive a minting reward?
I just waited out the 20 days while staking my 50,000 mint on a running wallet (I know it doesn't need to stay running but it was mostly up the whole time).

Then I saw two rewards come into the wallet that were "Generated but not accepted" (148 then 149 mint).
Finally I got a successful minting reward of 153 mint confirmed.
And now I'm no longer minting... "Not minting because you don't have mature coins"...

Umm, what?  This doesn't make any sense at all.   20 days to wait AGAIN, in between every staking reward?
If this is how it works then it's a total waste of my time.  This must be a bug in the wallet?

@Premiere , how many ppl or hashrate do you need ?

Look at "TTF" on the pools site.  https://premiumminer.com/site/mining
It says average time to find a block at full pool speed (currently ~350 GH/s) is fluctuating between 33 hours and 48 hours.
This small pool is going to fluctuate quite a bit due to luck factor.  But there's a chance of good luck and getting a nice payout.
And a chance of bad luck, no payout for days.

Why on nlpooo when i am mining XVG other coins appear on Last 50 Earnings
For example NevaCoin ?

It is an overflow setting. When the VERGE network is getting slow and there is no work for your miner, the server can do two things. One is to disconnect you, second is to give you another task so your power is not wasted.
We choose the second, since disconnecting gives other problems ( Some Rigs start to reboot then and become unstable ).

So who gets paid when that happens?  If someone sends you hash power for XVG, but you use it for NEVA and you only have an XVG address to pay out?

Re: GPU Memory Errors
by

I am seeing the same thing on my RX580 rig with 6 cards.
Was getting a very stable 28.5 MH/s with mem clock at 2020 MHz.  No memory errors in HWINFO64.
Any higher in the memory clock, errors start to pile up fast.

But now I'm testing at 2100 MHz clock, getting very close to 31 MH/s now...
Reported and effective hashrate is way up, 0 invalid shares, no change in stale shares.

Memory errors are through the roof.   I'm talking in the billions /day.   Doesn't seem to matter, I'm seeing an improvement in profitability.
I hope it doesn't harm the cards.

I bought a little stack of mintcoin I'd like to start staking.
I see some people are having trouble getting their coins sent from Cryptopia to the desktop wallet...?

I'm downloading the wallet and January snapshot - I hope I'm not wasting my time.  Undecided  (3.0 GB snapshot is taking several hours to DL off mintcoinofficial.com)

Great explanations, thanks to both of you!  That puts me at ease.
I will test the whole process end-to-end anyway with a 2nd Android phone.

Because I'm anal that way.  Trust, but verify!    Wink

Re: One wallet different addresses

I want to take this question a bit further...

If Coinomi creates a new Public address for each "receive", does that also imply another private key for each public address?
I thought keys are asymmetric pairs - i.e. public and private key are strongly tied to each other.

If this is the case, then my concern is about losing or destroying this Android device with my wallet on it.  Yes, I've got the recovery phrase backed up.
But on the new phone, when I restore the wallet - essentially what I'm doing is recreating key pairs deterministicly.
But let's say I received Litecoin at ten different addresses in my Coinomi wallet.

How does the key generator know that there were 10 addresses?  Because I sure wouldn't remember that.
Wouldn't I need to regenerate the same pub/private keypair (10x) again in the restored wallet in order to recover LTC sent to the 10 addresses?

Curious why v11 not released on GitHub?

Feels kinda sketchy downloading software from mega and sites like that.

Re: Add2PSU vs dual ATX cables

Would be nice to get a real answer here instead of the snyde remarks...
Two Gold PSUs are a very cost effective way to setup a mining rig, 1200w PSUs are very expensive.

So, let's try this again...
The Add2Psu as I understand it will turn the 2nd PSU ON AND OFF in sync with the first.
The interconnect cable may only turn PSU #2 ON, but maybe not OFF?

I haven't tried this yet, just about to setup my rig and I want to use the right part for the job.
Don't bother replying if you have nothing useful to add.
