Re: I was withdrawn from the BITTREX 0.5 btk exchange via API-keys

I was warned against using Bittrex API for my trading bot.
The community of guys who got me into bots advised me well.
I am using Binance because they are much better at locking down their API.
Bittrex has and other exchanges too have API issues.
In the end I hope they refund. But ultimately no one should use the APIs until it's overhauled.

Re: (Guide)Hiveos Tutorial:Config your Hashrate Watchdog to work with a USB Watchdog
by

What if hiveos hangs without sending a reboot command? Most of the time my rigs just go offline, without any logs or rebooting sent.

I have had the same issue, which is why I invested in these USB watchdogs.

The USB Watchdog has to get pinged by the rig. Otherwise it will auto-reset the miner.
So if your miner hangs or is frozen/unresponsive then the USB watchdog won't get pinged.
The ping essentially restarts the internal timer on the USB watchdog.
Which will result in a reset once the internal timer in the miner runs out.

Also check out this video I made it explains things in more detail.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iC6FyWpKwsY&t=4s

Let me know if you need me to further elaborate  Grin

(Guide)Hiveos Tutorial:Config your Hashrate Watchdog to work with a USB Watchdog
by
meccaflare0
on 22/03/2019, 00:33:43 UTC
I am a fan on Hiveos right now. Recently I altered the hashrate watchdog script to work with the USB watchdog so that way we do hard resets instead of using a command.

Please check out my video if you like subscribe.
This is the video guide I made:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WfCnabAjHn0

First thing is to plug in your USB watchdog correctly.

Turn on the Miner and SSH into it.

Edit the file /hive/bin/wd

Replace: nohup bash -c 'sreboot'
with: /hive/opt/qinheng/hl340 reset
different watchdogs will use a different script

Then restart the service with this command: systemctl restart hive-watchdog.service

And done.

You can test by setting the hashrate watchdog to an unrealistic expectation and then wait and watch the USB watchdog work.

If you have any feedback let me know thanks! and I hope this was helpful to the few of you out there

Re: Quadriga CEO death, Is it new scam in crypto
by

That's just the hopium talking. Money is stolen. Guy goes to part of India known for fake death certificates. Does his will weeks before his "death" and transferred 15 properties to his wife before he died. And he left 100k to his fucken dogs. Wife is currently transferring properties to a trust in an attempt to separate them from the creditors (the users)

Also upon further chain analyse it looks like there was tremendous efforts to obfuscate the wallet addresses by dispersing funds and parking.

And to top it off CIBC only froze their account because Jose Reyes transfer over a million into his personal account. CIBC froze the account because they sketched out. And They kept contacting the now "dead" ceo. and he kept ignoring them. Making the account stay frozen longer. This happen months before he "died"

As long as we measure the value of BTC in USD, I don't ever see an issue happening.

Well governments like crypto a lot more now then they used to.
It's just a matter of time. More and more politicians are going to own crypto.
It all about taxing them and they just target exchanges to hand over data on users.
At the end of the day it's a new opportunity for taxation.
And to actually avoid taxes would take a high degree of effort.

Re: bittrex is a scam website - AVOID!- WITH PROOF!!

I deposited SYNX into bittrex to dump.
Deposit never showed up, never replied to my ticket...
It's been like 4 months

Also want to add. My account is over 5 years old and verified.
I sent like $10 of SYNX to test. And nothing.

Luckily I don't keep any coins on my exchange. I have at most 1 Monero on Bittrex.

The old crypto adage, if you don't hold the private keys you don't own'em.

I looked into this project and based on my research this is either a scam or a poorly marketed project. Either way I wouldn't touch this project with a 50 foot pole. I would rather burn BTC before giving it to scammers

The best and worst thing about Bitcoin is that its primary use case is to buy crapcoins and scam projects.
Ever since alt-coins became a thing we couldn't help but to take our BTC and create a monster of speculative market.

I'd be traveling too had I not been scammed and lost along the way.
Sometimes we focus too hard on making more Bitcoin but sometimes.
We gotta focus on holding on with strong hands.

This coin is going to easily hit 60~70k Satoshi

I can see it easily going to 2-300k. Could be more too, just look at bitcoindark for example. They double the coins fibre has and they are at .01 each. In theory if fibre had the same support  it would be around .02 each.
I'm an early supporter, bought 10k at 10k satoshi, I'm in this till the end

Yeah I lost my shirt on this one lol

I think it's just a matter of time. It's all about time. I would argue about 8-16 month and we will see a return to old highs.
If you want win in bitcoin you gotta play the long game.

Re: ^-^-^- SPACE COIN [SPACE] REVIVAL POS / POW ^-^-^-
by

Fully agree with meccaflare0, great blockchain and model but all the web design is very weak, website also not in SSL and not mobile responsive.

A new category about the "Team" behind SPACE and its ambitions/vision should also bring much more trust in this project.

And more regular communication would be essential in order to animate/built a large SPACE community.

We are all here to help if needed, we could see a +100M market cap in 2018 if some basic efforts are done.

On my side I'm ready to donate xxxxx coins to the dev team if a new and pro website is launched.

Transactions are free, I scooped some for testing, sending back and forth. Going to keep the coin see how things progress.

If dogecoindark can become verge anything is possible
