Important Announcement:

After careful consideration, we in the team have decided to change our contract ticker to XMD. This has several reasons but one important issue is this:

We have some supporters who confuse us with another project, giving the wrong impression that we are selling this coin.

To avoid negative impression, we have published a new smart contract.

Apart of steady growth plans, constantly improving our product and market our services, we are strongly working on both development and legal aspects of the Meduse ecosystem.

On the development side, our current main focus is strongly invested in finalising the spot trading module.

Current priorities within the development work:

• Releasing a smart contract for the coin portfolio index.
• Working on an ether based stable coin.
• Building mobile apps for iOS and Android.
• Developing a real multi user wallet.
• NAUTILUS: A cross platform, customizable ledger. More details about this project will follow in the future.

The launch of Meduse is not dependent on the outcome of the upcoming sale rounds. We were able to raise backings in a previous funding round, which are being used for operational expenses. Additional expenses, such as team-costs, office rentals and similar were covered by the Founder Ferhat Ziba, who has already successfully launched other products in the digital space. Furthermore, development started in 2018 and we are currently planning the final steps to launch our spot trading soon.

A successful token sale would accelerate the speed and state of development, as well as our launch process and it will also allow us to increase our developer team in Izmir (Turkey), our legal team in Talinn (Estonia) and our marketing and operations team in Hamburg (Germany).

Meduse has physical office-branches in all mentioned locations, though currently the only opened office is Izmir, due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

What is Meduse ?

Meduse is an Estonia-based cryptocurrency exchange. Meduse goal is to build tools for decentralized financial solution accessible to everyone. The first goal of building an over-the-counter exchange is done and we will develop the spot trading platform. In addition, we are building a smart contract for portfolio management, which is the perfect combination of NFTs and ERC20.

What is Meduse Coin [MDX] ?

The Meduse Coin is the base currency on Meduse and is built as an erc20 token. It will be used on the Meduse platform for reducing the fees for spot trading, open higher return of affiliate products. With the development of coin portfolio index tool, it will be the payment token to create a portfolio of tokens. With the first release of nautilus, mdx will be the native coin on this platform and we will provide a tool for exchanging coins from erc20 to nautilus with the 1:1 rate.

What is the Coin Portfolio

The Coin Portfolio is a smart contract on the Ethereum blockchain with which a user can create a portfolio and hold various erc20 tokens in their portfolio. The owner of a portfolio receives an NFT token representing the ownership. Other users can invest in this portfolio and receive an ERC20 token representing the base unit of the portfolio.

The portfolio manager, the owner of the NFT token, has control over the portfolio and the market cap and can manage optimization in his portfolio.

Users who want to exit the portfolio can either sell their erc20 token or liquidate their token via the Coin Portfolio.

To generate liquidity for the Coin Portfolio, the Coin Portfolio builds on Sushi Swap and other swaps.
