Re: Do you think exchanges are manipulating prices now ?

There are always price manipulations, but I don't think it's an exchange that pull the strings. There are market makers who are playing their games with it on the exchanges.

I know a lot of professional traders who don't use stops at all. If you trade on bitmex with margin thou it's a different story.

As @SecretsOfCrypto said (he's retared already): "One should become an expert in all aspects of crypto". Not only TA, but FA, mining and others too.

It's a new asset class and the most people haven't put time to study it. Also, there are little to no regulation, a lot of hacks and no insurance.

If you're confident and already have some experince with stocks than go ahead. Bittrex is safe exchange. Cryptopia is good for some lowcaps

The price of every coins is maniulated in some sence. Retain traders can move markets with low liquidity for a short period of time, but it's a market maker who orchestrates the pumps.

Bitcoin is very secure and strong now compared to a couple of ears ago. It's about centralized exchanges secrity state, not BTC itself.

I think that trading style defends on a presonality a lot. If you like to make quick decesions go ahead and learn to day trade or even scalping. If you like to think a lot before a trade than higher time frame is probably better for you.

About 9th. That's true, agree. Not only about trading. Don't do swing trading or position trading without learning about it first.

Good money management helps a lot to stay calm. Proven strategy and solid research too. About emotions, there are a couple of books I like. They called "Trading for a living" and "Disciplined trader"

Re: BitcoinCashout.com

You sure that it's actually bitcoincashout.com? instead of bitcoinscashout.com, which is a pretty well documented scam with a lot of people reporting that they've been scammed. You may want to change your Title and the URLs in the OP if that is the case.

But the site design is a huge red flag already, because obviosuly they haven't put much time and effort into designing this site if they are legit. They are offering @ or above market rates as well, which is strange for a business to do, because they have absolutely no profitable business model.

You're right, always do your research before you send funds to any crypto site. There are tons of scams out there, and this is actually one of the more obvious ones. Sorry for your loss, but at least it wasn't that big.

updated the post ... you are right ... i was missing an "s" !!!!

BitcoinsCashout.com

unfortunately i did not do my research ... i have been mining for over a year now and have been using many services in the past to liquidate what i mine, but due to some change in policies in some of the sites i use, i had to look for new alternatives to collect my earnings. to my bad luck, and my stupidity, i came across www.bitcoinscashout.com and for some reason i thought I'd try it out with some 0.01BTC (about 90+ USD) to see if it works. I made the transfer to their address

Code:
1Jw8P3hAf47hHSnpV7qqXattPAJpmiTHz7

with trx #
Code:
ed489ddbe3c53971553d5909b62b65a5d902e6083bc9ed59c01d2b3e66baadb6

and they received it

https://blockexplorer.com/tx/ed489ddbe3c53971553d5909b62b65a5d902e6083bc9ed59c01d2b3e66baadb6

i soon realized that i might have been scammed and i started researching them, only to find that they have been around since 2011 and even though it might have been a legitimate business then, it stopped fulfilling the requests since 2012 or so!!!

i keep looking at the block explorer to track the movement of the coins, and it saddens me to see that they keep receiving funds on that address, though no withdrawals have yet been made out that address so far.

i'm writing this for a few reasons:

1. to maybe help out anyone who is thinking of using them and falling for their scam

2. i might be wrong and someone from bitcoincashout will actually respond to this (i tried to reach them in several ways but no response so far)

3. i think the community can help out, especially in this case if anyone residing in the UK and can help physically look into their scam

best of luck and always research any new service you think of using!!!!

Try this litlle hack to z-nomp

edit the file libs/paymentProcessor.js and change this line in this way:

-var params = [poolOptions.address, [{'address': poolOptions.zAddress, 'amount': amount}]];
+var params = [poolOptions.address, [{'address': poolOptions.zAddress, 'amount': amount}], 1 , 0.0001];

- mean old line
+ mean new line

let me know

thank you so much for your input Smiley

will that affect other coins on z-nomp?

also ... is my coin config file correct (i assume you didnt comment on it so it is)?

At the moment we exchange on BarterDex.

i had a problem that i posted a few posts back concerning shielding using z-nomp and was wondering if anyone could help with the coin conf file .... unfortunately no one did .... so maybe you could put up here the LTZ conf file for znomp !!!  ... would be very nice of you ;-)

my post:

can anyone share the coin config file for znomp? Smiley

this is what i have so far:

Code:
{
    "name": "litecoinz",
    "symbol": "ltz",
    "algorithm": "equihash",
    "requireShielding": true,
    "txfee": 0.0004
}

and also:

i dont know wath u need but im mining here config is:

thank you for your try to help .... but my question has nothing to do with mining, but rather with the setup of mining pool !!

the above mentioned file, is "usually" the config file for the coin when using the z-nomp pool (which most of the pools are actually using it) ... and this files usually has some coin specific settings / params that have to do with things like "Founder's rewards / fees" , does the coin need shielding or not (Komodo for example does not need shielding!!) .... etc ....

so each equihash coin has its own "coin config file" .... and that is what im asking about ;-)

btw ... this is the error im getting on z-nomp:

Code:
2018-03-09 16:03:11 [Payments]      [litecoinz] Shielding operation failed opid-5f5d5d69-2bbe-4f87-8588-839485c2ea97 -4, Change 0.00009 not allowed. When protecting coinbase funds, the wallet does not allow any change as there is currently no way to specify a change address in z_sendmany.
