I do not think it is going to crash anymore.

With 1.5 I would invest in 3 or 4 cryptos.
I would spend less than 200 bucks for an investment.
Invest little by little would work as well. In fact its a common method that all big investors using, they invest every now and then, little by little.

I think it is a little thread to the currencies but not much.
As if the value of bitcoin is better, people may not keep currencies like USD or Euro but they will buy bitcoin and keep it both for spending and also as an investment.
But bitcoin will not hurt the economy. It has nothing to do with the economy in the negative side, just like stock market.

None exchanges are safe.
People have their exchange accounts stolen all the time. As you can be hacked from anything on Internet. When a hacker gets the access to your browser data, you are done. You accounts will be stolen along with your exchanges accounts.
Dont store coins on exchange. Withdraw them asap when you have them.

by share market, you meant stock market?
Stock market has a lot of companies tat have been with us for decades so it will be a safer investment.
crypto, on the other hand, needs more time to be more stable. So its higher risk but also higher reward.

Re: I almost lost my rock solid regular job because of crypto
Like the title says, i almost lost my regular job as a software developer today when my boss reviewed my work. The job has been able to economically provide a comfortable life for me and losing it would really be a big hit to my income. I almost lost it because i spent so much time learning about everything crypto (mining, trading, bounties, etc.).
Has anyone else experienced this? I just feel pretty lucky I was given another chance and want to remind other people that having a regular job is much better than relying on the volatility of cryptocurrencies. Make sure you prioritize your work!

I had the same experience with my own job too.
I spend 1 hour+ everyday on crypto which i believe crypto will make me more money with that amount of time. However that took away 6 hours a week from my main job too. 40 hour work week becomes 34 hours. It affected my performance and my boss noticed that.
Keeping things balanced for both your job and crypto trading is not easy at all.
I think you can simply avoid getting a fake project by learning how to do better research.
The point of doing research is to find out who is a good team, who is bad and so you will lower the chance of being scammed.

I would look at the top 10 coins. BTC and ETH are both great. Others like Ripple and Litecoin could be worth considering also.

Because of their size of the company, I believe they will make it to top 10 easily. Not sure where they will go from there.

You will never go wrong with Ethereum. It is an amazing coin.
I find it way better than bitcoin in many ways. The fee is cheaper and more controllable with the GAS. Transactions therefore could become way faster when you know how to do it properly.
It also has a lot of wallets both offline and online to hold it.

People talked about the 51% attack but it is almost impossible, plus. If one coin dies, some others will raise up and make awesome crypto projects. That wont be a problem for us.
