When the hard fork happens the amount of dollars($'s) in BTC itself will cut in half. The remaining value initially I believe would be split 4:1 in favor of BTC.. Over a 12 month period I see the market gaining confidence in BTU, with it slowly surpassing BTC in support before eventually exterminating the old BTC and taking its reigns. Over this period price will skyrocket to $5k before the next leg of adoption to $50k as a result of successful scaling.

Lightning would take at-least 4-5 years to get activated. Also, it's an off-chain solution not on-chain solution which Satoshi advocated for. This means value spilling over from BTC into other more transact-able alternative currencies.

Segwit needs 95% approval from miners(never going to happen) and only solves blocksize issues short term.

Hard fork is inevitable .. I project BTC dropping to @ $450 and BTU @ $150 following the fork. 2 year bear trend follows eventually leading to BTU coming out victor. BTU then becoming the main chain spikes up to $10k in 2019.

Hi, I sent BTC to an old address within a wallet which I hold the private key. The balance within armory has not updated but the transaction appears as confirmed on  the blockchain.
