Re: What Coins people are hodling At the moement ?
by

on 19/08/2018, 22:09:51 UTC
If anyone willing to explain their portfolio and why they are holding will be appreciated.

I have lost a lot since January but hodling still and wants to buy more.

Any Good project suggestions will be helpful.

The answer is ... none. Most people are not holding and that´s why the market is much below what should be taking into account all the successful ICOs last year.

Re: Forgotten myetherwallet password
by
melamiras
on 19/08/2018, 22:08:06 UTC
I used to have myetherwallet adress and i never list the password of myetherwallet in my notepad, only the eth account adress and the private keys which i think this are only the important to save.
My question is?
Is myetherwallet password is important when i need it to exchange my rewards into fiat?or only the eth account and private keys?
Hope you mates can help me clear this out.

Password is not more important than private key. For myether wallet no need password and all. You should have your private key safely to exchange. So don't bother about password

you will need your pass if your keys are encripted, and they should for sure be encrypted particularly if you have decided to save these to a file and place it in the cloud or similar.

Re: Many think crypto is dead. It is not.

I keep reading some really desperate people on a forum (other than this one) and they seem sure that crypto is dead, because it is scam etc.

Crpyto is not dead. Don't be stupid. HODL.

Those who think that crypto is dead are going to make a huge mistake instead of taking advantage of the ridiculous prices of some of the top 10 currencies that have to pump surely.

Do you think that stringent laws will give you confidence in tokens or an obstacle to their progress?

You need the right laws, just as you need the right text size in your post. Into the topic: There is going to be many different legislations as there are many tax havens.

Re: Most Of The ICO Telegram Group Has Fake Inactive Members
by
melamiras
on 19/08/2018, 22:03:46 UTC
This is very often I see on ICO group with members around 50,000 But message/day is only around 20-30, of course this is very suspicious compared to the real telegram group, only about 4000-8000 members are active in the chat. I think this is not entirely wrong from the ICO Team because they usually paid services to individuals or groups but of course it's not professional.

Everyone knows that most ICOs do offer some airdrop for telegram members and that is always going to mean that people who are not really interested Join. JUst judge as investor the face value of that.

Re: Cheapest altcoin
by

What is the difference between a cheap crypto currency or expensive, if you get your profit from the amount you have deposited? Or think cheap coins can jump more sharply in price?

Cheap is not low price, cheap means that is cheap in relation to what the project has already built, the prospects and the use cases an all. It has potential.

Re: Cardano will destroy Ethereum!
by

Ada or EOS or some else crypto currencies can’t destroy ETH, coz ETH - mineable coin number one on gpu

Being the ETH killer is a claim that many systems have done, however there is still nothing in view that can compete with the huge adoption of ethereum worldwide

Re: Which is better for hodl? ETC or NEO?
by
melamiras
on 18/08/2018, 21:48:12 UTC
I think both are good for holding, both of them are among the top 15 coins in coinmarketcap. ETC and NEO is agood investment for the long term.

NEO is more interesting for those who want movements and significant possibilities for the future. ETH tends to follow realitvely horizontal trends mostly and is less good for trading.

Re: 97% bitcoin gold crash should feel like a bad omen to you
by

on 18/08/2018, 21:47:03 UTC
bitcoin gold crashed 97% it was once traded at 500 usd and now its just 17 usd,

this is the first bitcoin fork, out there and it is basically gone. when bitcoins forks collapse the next will be bitcoin, you guys then will stand like a sect in a ocean of cryptocurrencies

This coin was a bad idea since the start. No more that another pump and dump shitcoin, just using the name bitcoin does not mean that something is valuable at all.

Probably summer holidays are influencing the market again, I wouldn't be so definitive as your predictions are. We have to look at long term and hope for crypto adoption

Yes, maybe people are taking some money to pay for the summer holidays, or maybe all the ICO that come from last year are selling ether like crazy to avoid loosing their war chests

Re: PLEASE, stop sending promo tokens!!

What a shit this "new" way of promoting ico!

Marketing managers of ICOs, are u really thinking this way contributes to development of your project? NO. Your useless shitcoins are being perceived like usual SPAM. It's even more awful than Avon samples from desperate women.

Thanks for the listening to.

I agree it is quite anoying and I don´t think is efficient in terms of the money you have to spend to deploy all those tokens that will mostly be ignored. There are better ways.

Re: Many projects are dead?
by
melamiras
on 12/08/2018, 12:35:16 UTC

Currently on the coinmarketcap site only about 1590 projects compared to at times more than 1700 projects. They have left many projects without developers or scam projects. I personally invested in some of these projects and lost a lot of money like bitconect and centra. Do you trust the projects you are investing in and will keep them for a long time until they succeed or are they just looking for profit in the short term?

Those projects which have been abused by the teams or do not have a proper management and commitment are surely dead and that is the way business are in fact.

Re: ETH is falling and BTC Dominance above 50% now..What do you guys think
by
melamiras
on 12/08/2018, 12:34:14 UTC
Btc dominance is above 50 percent is a good news i think, Because lots of people are entering this market with bitcoin, so if bitcoin price goes up, many people can back on crypto currency world again.

I don´t think is correct and also it is not good news if the dominance is increased due to a general shrinking of the market. The aim is to pump, not to "dominate"

Re: What seems to be the average price of ICO's
by
melamiras
on 12/08/2018, 12:32:40 UTC
Seems like a lot of coins go to shit because of high ICO prices

IMO, anything above 1 cent is pricey as shit. I see ICO's going for like 50cents to 90cents...

Ripple ain't even worth 50 cents for 1 XRP so how the hell is an ICO going to hold that value

The price of the tokens is meaningless, the key and what you should evaluate is the total cap of the project compared to the perspectives of success and compliand with their roadmao.

Re: NEP-5: NEO’s Answer to Ethereum ERC-20 Tokens
by
melamiras
on 12/08/2018, 12:31:39 UTC
NEP-5 - new alternate ecosystem for blockchain startups.

The smart contract concept that Ethereum has pioneered is here to stay, but now there are many other blockchain systems aiming to challenge its dominance. Those competitors include Cardano, Stellar, EOS, and NEO.
It's tokens can be stored in a NEO wallet, just like ERC-20 tokens are stored in Ethereum wallets.

NEP-5: NEO’s Answer to Ethereum ERC-20 Tokens

And there is much more about NEO in fact, like the non-fungible tokens and the MCT that now allows the deployment of contracts cheapely. It is in continuous evolution.

There have been a gradual fall in the prices of cryptocurrencies although few still try to show a little green on the way, what do you think cryptocurrency traders and enthusiasts should do now to revive the market?

Re: Ethereum - Total supply, POS and future price?
by
melamiras
on 12/08/2018, 12:20:20 UTC
Hello,
I would like to ask you how many total Ethers will exist? I can´t find this information and it seems that number of Ethers will be unlimited? So Ethereum is created to be deflation currency? And what will happen when we switch the consensus to Proof of Stake? Many people will earn free Ethers and many people will want to sell they earned Ethers. So for me it seems that Ether will be cheaper and cheaper in the future.
What is your opinion, please?

If ether becomes PoS it will be more valuable, as it will give dividends. However it would be considered a security and that would lead to lots of problems with regulators.

Re: The decline of cryptocurrency market has stopped?
by
melamiras
on 11/08/2018, 22:20:56 UTC
Hello Guys.

As you can see, the past week we saw cryptocurrency market decline is very strong, it is almost balanced with this time last year. Whether this is a drop in the end, and then will increase continuously until the end of the year?
Please let me know your thinking about it Huh....   Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked   Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin    Roll Eyes Roll Eyes Roll Eyes     Grin Grin Grin Grin

Beautiful graph honestly, we all would like to believe in a bull run this year, but it just does not seem to be coming at all. I am hodling some, so it would be great to have it.

by
melamiras
on 11/08/2018, 22:19:20 UTC
Same thing said by so many school of thoughts, but looking at the charts, it will be noticed that the market had a very huge bull run late last year to early this year, from all indications, the correction will still continue for sometime before another run

The conditions are not the same as last year that´s for sure, many of the greatest ICOs would now be unbelievable, and there is a drag due to scam and things like Tezos or the DAO.

Re: Why bitcoin is superior
by
melamiras
on 11/08/2018, 22:16:25 UTC
Lately I have realized couple of newbies complain about vulnerability of the market because of the dips
But truth is we seem to have forgotten that

Whereas Bitcoin is the first and largest decentralised digital currency used as a store of value and a means of payment, Ethereum is the largest decentralised application network.

That explains why bitcoin dominance seem unbreachable

Basically wrong. Bitcoin is not a mean of payment, it is intended as a store of value. BCH is intended as a mean of payment and thus much more prone to ups & downs.
