Do have a question to Kano, If i'm running a latency check it seems that your pool is based not in Europe so it's giving me a latency of 155ms, do you have a Europe based pool also?
Um, Kano has a thread covering things regarding the pool... If you look at the 1st post you will see the list of all the worldwide nodes he runs for it. There are 2 for europe - one in Germany and one in the Netherlands.

BTW: 155ms latency is *not* bad. Not great either but not bad.

Thanks, already spun up a raspberry pi 5 with NVMe for a local Bitcoin node :-)

Got the Smart Hub and R909 today..

Some metrics, it came like this out of the box, didn't change a setting...
hashrate1m   "2.42T"
hashrate5m   "2.13T"
hashrate1hr   "2.08T"

2nd R909 sadly got a broken USB connector , broke off while plugging in the cable..

Hello Guru.
For 9 hours, my computers can not connect to the LBS server.
Error "Problem connecting to server https://lbc.cryptoguru.org/static/client(status: 500 Can't connect to lbc.cryptoguru.org:443 (certificate verify failed)). Retries left: 25"
Please tell me how fix it. Or can someone from the respected Guru renew the ca certificates on the server?
Best regards, Mikhail
P.S. OS Xubuntu 19.10

Same for me all servers dropped connections

Re: [OS] nvOC easy-to-use Nvidia Mining v PXA-1.9

As one of the official contributors of the NVOC group I must say that this build has been one of the best builds I've seen so far. As you might know, overclocking is one of the hardest parts to do in Linxu. With fullzero's NVOC it was made a lot easier and with the current release of PoisonXA it has taken OC to the next level.
I have been using it on my rigs for some time now and the settings that it give to be the "sweet spot" of OC , I would have never guessed to put those numbers.
Also I've have been in contact with PoisonXA and looking forward to working together with him and making this built even greater. There is an awesome roadmap and plans for the future for this built so keep an eye out on this forum because you don't want to miss it.

Since I'm working with the Community build of this Ubuntu mining OS , I no longer need to worry about the correct OC settings.. It has it owns auto clock.. https://nvoc-mining-os.com/downloads/community-builds/ , it seeks it's own sweet spot and stays on it..

fullzero and the gang - thanks for making this an easy distribution for mining. I have been using v19 for the past few months and have now attempted to move to 19-1.4.

Motherboard is an Asrock H110 BTC.

I've recently flashed v19-1.4 to my sandisk ultra fit usb 3.0 drive and even after numerous attempts I am unable to get it to work. v19 was running fine off it.

On the first boot it ends up with the screen:

BusyBox v1.22.1 (Ubuntu 1:1.22.0-15ubuntu1) built-in shell (ash)
Enter 'help' for a list of built in commands.

(initramfs)

---

After which when I reboot, it goes straight to bios.

Tried this on a couple of different usb drives and the results are the same. Is there a specific setting that I'm missing here?

Thanks and advance

hey , I have an Asrock H110 as well and with me it's working perfectly, have you tried with one 1 gpu in the slot closest to the CPU?

hey

I really like the NVOC OS , works like a charm, well almost

There are 2 issues that I have that I cannot seem to fix.

First is the reporting, I can see the page "nvOC Web Interface" but when I click on "miner info" I get

"The requested URL /home/m1/www/cgi-bin/minerinfo was not found on this server."

have been looking and trying to fix this for a couple of days but I am unable to fix it.

second is the mining itself, if I set it to "ETH" it works flawlessly with 0 downtime, but when I set it to "ETH_DUAL_SC" than I see that my SC coins only have 370 sol (in Win 10 I had 31.5MHs on ETH and 450 sol on SC), but even the sol rate aside, it runs for 5 minutes and than it exit the mining screen and going back to promp.

Is there any way to find the log or to see why it's not working ?

kind regards and thanks
