Re: Day trading or Long term
by

on 13/02/2024, 07:19:12 UTC
So I have been trying to wrap my head around which is a better option, day trading crypto or buying for long term keep.
While they both have their pros and cons, they both come with a form of risk and they are meant to generate profit.
The major difference between them is that day trading tend to make profit from small market volatility, while hodling make profit from the bigger change in crypto value.
Day trading involves more techniques, self discipline and rational decision making.
Which do you prefer and think is better

For now I choose trading per day. Because for day trading, it's like jumping right into the fast-moving currents of the market, taking advantage of the fact that crypto is very unpredictable. So, you right, it does take more skills, focus, and making choices. For me, there is no problem making a small profit and buying again at a low price and doing it repeatedly
And, of course, for earn short profit or making money from small changes in the market, I think you have to be stay screen almost all the time, though, to keep an eye on market trends. Also, don't forget that it can be very difficul

Re: BTC or Love on Valentine's day. What's your pick?
by

on 13/02/2024, 06:54:07 UTC
I have seen a couple of friends received amazing gifts from loved ones during Valentine's period but I haven't given one neither have I received because I don't really celebrate Valentine perhaps because I haven't been in love before🙄.

My friends came up with an idea to take some time off this year and travel  to carrebean inland to catch fun and perhaps, I might find Mrs right in the course of the holiday but with BTC on a bullish move, I feel taking a whole week out of trading is a crazy idea even though the rest is needed.

Is there any trading event I can leverage on while on holiday so I can catch fun and earn at the same time.
So you want to take a vacation with your friends to relax and maybe even find love, but you're also scared that you'll miss out on Bitcoin's rise, right? Yes, that can be hard. You can try automated trading bots, but I don't need suggestion for that. For me, these trade in the background based on the plan you set. You could also just use trade apps on your phone, like Binance or Coinbase. It's tracking price or trade maybe. You also can check the market whenever you want.
Remember that the crypto market can go through crazy ups and downs. That's why it's important to protect your investments with stops and limits. Feel free to enjoy your trip to enjoy your Valentine. Have fun😉

Re: Is Cardano still a good investment?

on 13/02/2024, 02:47:02 UTC
Advice :- If you do not know what you are investing just keep away from it.

Instead of cardano just look at ARB, SUI, BNB
For now, Cardano (ADA) is lack. For now, price still $0.5 - $0.55. But, I don't know in future, if OP need for short profit, please leave it ADA.
For ARB, or Arbitrum for I think still has high feeeven if you have Eth Layer 2. for Sushiswap (SUI) it's a completely open market where any two tokens can be traded without going through a third party. More and more people are starting to see how useful DEXs like SushiSwap are as DeFi gains popularity. I think interested for this. I agree, and I now invest BNB to harving day. I choose it because lower trade fees.

Re: Sulitnya Mengedukasi Masyarakat Untuk Menolak Amplop Para Calon!
by
merekamo
on 13/02/2024, 00:47:25 UTC

by
merekamo
on 13/02/2024, 00:18:59 UTC

Re: Opinions on the Pi network
by

on 12/02/2024, 13:20:14 UTC
Let's talk about the Pi network. With about 48 million users known as pioneers, this altcoin has gained popularity already. Also, its easy mining structure makes it more appealing to users than a lot of other altcoins. Although there are good speculations about it, it still hasn't been listed on Binance or any other exchange platform for buying and selling. What may be the reason? Is this how long it took other altcoins before they came into use? It's been more than 4 years since its words came to the public. What do you think caused the long wait and how valuable would it be when it comes out?
I think, it is not currently listed on major exchanges like binance because each exchange has standards, which usually include factors such as security measures, user demand, and market liquidity. I think so like that.
As for how long it took other altcoins to launch, it varies a lot. Some were ready soon after announcement, while others took years of development. For me got information about how long Pi lauch it, I don't know because exact reason for Pi long wait time isn't clear. It could be due to the team wanting to rigorously test their product before launch. Given Pi Network uses a unique consensus model which allows energy-efficient mining, they may want to make sure everything's working perfectly before going live.

Re: Solana - Is it still good to buy or it's FOMO
by
merekamo
on 12/02/2024, 12:39:19 UTC
Solana has been in rally for a while as lot of speculations and news around it and new tokens on it's ecosystem has been credited for it's rally, shall we consider this as beginning and is it a good time to take entry? Someone new to crypto would say "Yes" but those who has been here for a while would be hesitant because we have seen SOL rising from $15 to $259 and then witnessed the downfall as well to less than $8.

I personally feel little bit confused because somewhere I feel if I enter now then I will be doing it in FOMO. Please share your opinion whether we can still take entry or should we wait if there would be any possible market correction and this is not for long term investment.
Solana recent gains have been influenced by lots of speculation and news. While it's tempting to jump in due to Fomo, it's crucial to remember the volatility of the crypto space. If you're comfortable with potential losses and feel Solana has good prospects, and think why to buy it. But, for now and we know it's to go harving, it's has time little bit to earn profits, maybe 50-50. However, if you suspect a market correction, it might be smarter to wait for a lower buy-in.

Could't find on the forum a thread dedicated to Mexc Global exchange , please address me to it if I missed it, and would like to hear about your experiences, your opinions or generally speaking what do you thik about it:  reliability, safety, functioning and whatever you feel it is worth sharing.
Thanks in advance for the time to answer me.
Sofar what I have used in January has been fine, no problems. Because I only need it when there is a listed token that I want to trade. Just that. For now, we withdraw assets without having to KYC like other exchanges, yes, even though the trading volume is relatively small, it is enough for me.
One of the conveniences of MEXC global, no KYC. So to withdraw you only need 2fa, so in my opinion this is good if you withdraw assets with a small amount. Even so, I don't put all my assets in mexc. So, this is just for security if something fud happens or is related to security.

Re: As a newbie, be careful of the Bitcoin information you process
by
merekamo
on 10/02/2024, 03:33:56 UTC
The crypto space happens to be a very busy place with lots of information surrounding it. Digital form of money like Bitcoin happens to be the most popular among other coins. Interestingly, we've had series of video clips, written books, online materials and people's opinion that all explains every piece of information surrounding Bitcoin. Most of this information are generated from different source, but are meant to interpret same thing, i.e, every information about Bitcoin should be consistent regardless of whosoever is writing/documenting it.

When a none Bitcoin ethusiast is eager to learn about Bitcoin, it's is important for he/she to make proper research as a newbie. By making research, he/she would definitely come across online materials, videos and also people's opinion. At that early stage, it's very difficult to identify false information about Bitcoin due to unfamiliarity with certain terminologies. Sadly, this misinformation can stick and become part of the person. Misinformation can sometimes be difficult to erase especially when we've become top members in the Bitcoin community.

We sometimes come across altercation or counterattacks in the comment section of a particular post. we often see how crypto ethusiast tends to object to other people's ideology concerning Bitcoin. Certainly, one person is usually wrong during this every altercation. The tendency to keep arguing even when one party is wrong is as a result of the wrong information that has been processed overtime.

In conclusion, it's very important that we gather enough information by making our own research and also learning from others especially in a community like BTT. let's not be too quick to jumping into conclusion especially in topics that we are not familiar with. Your contributions are greatly appreciated.
I agree. You see. sure, you might put in loads of hours nailing down research, but if it isn’t done wisely,  so maybe waste time. and collect infomattion and combine like crypto websites, social media discussions, even twitter threads can be enlightening. also forums like BTT, tiktok or YouTube, where you can practically learn anything these days. And now in tiktok, in here not just dance challenges, you can actually stumble upon some pretty neat crypto insights there.

Re: How to tell what address is on what Network
by

on 10/02/2024, 03:07:43 UTC
Hi Can you tell from a wallet address what network it is on?

Is there a difference between the Ethereum Network and the BNB Network,  if so how can you tell?
Yes, that is difference between Ethereum and BNB networks, and you can often identify the network by examining the wallet address. Simple that, you can find at Coinmarketcap, type your token in search (top) and you can find in contract address. Also BNB addresses can also be identified by checking their activity on the Binance Smart Chain Explorer (bscscan), like Ethereum addresses can be checked on Ethereum explorers such as Etherscan.

Re: Do you have a hard time bringing new people to the forum?
by
merekamo
on 10/02/2024, 02:17:47 UTC
During the Christmas holidays, I traveled to different places and one of my main target was to introduce Bitcoin and this forum to as many people as I could. I did but it was not really as easy as I expected because at a point, I was confused on where to start and how to proceed. I wanted a way of shortening the entire process for them, knowing that not everyone will be patient to go through the complex and rigorous process of learning about Bitcoin and the forum itself as a newbie. When I was first introduced into this forum, I was overwhelmed by the workload, the rules, many things to learn and indeed the expectations from me as a newbie. I actually ran away, stayed for a very long time before I remembered I had to face the new task for which I signed up.

I picked myself up and proceeded and I consider that one of the best decision of my life. Today I'm more than motivated to help as many people as possible to grasp this whole things as I know the benefits are innumerable. I don't consider it enough to encourage them to read through the forum because I still remember how difficult it was for me as a newbie, so I'm challenged in my spirit that there should be an easier way to go about introducing the entire concept to newbies.

I don't know if any of you faced this challenge, if yes, how were you able to proceed?

Just take it one step at a time. Start with a simple explanation about crypto that catches their interest. Tell them about your journey, the roller coaster ride of highs and lows you've had with Bitcoin. Then prepare a trust list for them like this forum, twitter, reddit, etc. Yes, it seems like a lot and it's not going to be instant. But I'm telling you, when you tell him about crypto risks of crypto investment and this is important.

Re: Bitcoin, when to buy
by
merekamo
on 10/02/2024, 01:56:57 UTC
The growth of Bitcoin over years have made it one of the most sorted after asset in the world right now and to me it's a lifetime opportunity that needed to be seized,

So my question is when is the best time to buy Bitcoin?

Many people that have been into the industry before I even came in have mostly suggested the DCA method, some advice I allowed it to drop to my convenience price before I buy.

As a newbie I feel the DCA method is the best base on my own perspective of looking at it on the long term, I don't know if anyone have any better opinion? Because I believe in the hype that  this forum is filled with knowledgeable people about cryptocurrency.

Sure thing. But, putting money into Bitcoin can look like a chance and you know risk. If you ask me, "when to best buy Bitcoin?" Opinions differ among people. Some like the Dollar-Cost Averaging (DCA) approach. It involves regular investments, no matter the price. Others wait for the price to fall to a better level. As a new person to cryptocurrencies, your idea to use DCA for a more long-term plan makes sense. Yet, it's helpful to think about other views. Try to learn from people who know this field well, in this forum.

It's truly remarkable how this forum has been of help to me, I can remember a time I couldn't use a simple metamusk wallet installed on my device 😀, it was so hard to understand many things like layer 2, I would be like what is a layer 2, but now I can proudly talk about bitcoin in public even giving solutions to people's problems and explaining some things I've learned, I mostly appreciate our seniors for helping out in our times of need.
I'm really thankful beign a part of this forum and I think everyone one has that time in their bitcoin Journey where they didn't know shit and had to ask some questions on this forum. Share your experience with us.
First, friend tell me about Btt forum. now I'm starting to know how bitcoin affects other altcoins. With this forum I get more knowledge about crypto in general. I don't have trading experience before that. So, I noob at that time Cheesy,.I really thankful for this forum. Most exciting thing about this BTT forum for me is gaining new knowledge when I read threads that I didn't know about before and this BTT forum has active members. So, if we have problems related to crypto in general, I think this forum will help a lot.

Re: Best Exchange To Swap Nexa to USDT TRC20
by
merekamo
on 07/02/2024, 13:48:36 UTC
https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/nexa/markets/ - Here you can find other Nexa exchanges.

Thank you for the link.

Which exchange from the list uses USDT TRC20?

I agree with other comment, and this applies if you are looking for a market where tokens are sold, in the OP's case, namely Nexa, because this token is already listed on CMC, then look for the market there. If I look in coinmarketcap, try Mexc to sell your Nexa. Now, Mexc don't has KYC to withdraw and It's better if you choose in below list in CMC like coinEx, Xeggex or  etc. If you can see red sign in cmc, I think it means deposit or withdraw not available. I don't check it but actually I often like that.
