Good Morning Pool Members, Laviathon and I have been waiting for the right time to implement this promo, and now we feel this is a good time as any to help further increase our base hash rate by implementing a more long term promotion for our pool. Any blockfinder that has set their donation amount to a minimum of 1.0% now qualifies for a 1BTC blockfinding bonus. What this means is, if you go into the my account tab, select edit account, and set your donation amount to a minimum of 1.0, then you automatically qualify for the bonus. If you happen to find a block, you will have 1BTC coming your way. If you find the block, then change the amount, it does not qualify, you need to have this donation percentage set, prior to finding the block. This is effective immediately.
I guys, not been active much lately, just catching up.
I have set a donation amount as should all who mine on the pool. Great promotion idea.
Lets hope this round is over soon..
Mario

Re: BCMonster.com Mining Pool / [PPLNS Payout][Pays TxFee]
Seeing that our BCMONSTER team rental account lost half its bitcoin that round, I will throw it back into this round to try and regain our btc as soon as it's confirmed.
Might as well. Maybe we will get lucky. We need a couple of quick rounds now to recover from this one.
Mario has thrown up a rental today in hopes of getting us through this round. I know we have other users wanting to do so as well. With over 700 registered users now, I sure hope this round ends, so all those people can hop on and start mining here!
To all you new registered users - What are you waiting for. Come on, get stuck in.
We need some help to crack this round.
Before some of us go mad (too late)
Edit: Don't forget, there is a block finder bonus. 1 Bitcoin blockfinder's bonus for next round! The only requirement is that you have to be actively mining at this round's end to qualify for the bonus next round!
Hi Kris, Any news on the EU server? Did you manage to get the domain you were after?
We landed the Portuguese domain www.bitcoin.co.pt We are waiting on the domain provider to enable us to create the subdomains so we can create the euro stratum. Once that is done, an announcement will be posted here, via email, and Twitter so you won't miss it. On a side note The Asia domain www.bitcoin.inc.hk Is up and running as well as that stratum.
That's great to see the pool is expanding fast. Thanks for the update Kris. Catch you, and the other mad monster miners in IRC later.
Can someone check if the pool is up, my miners keeps failovering
I've had the same. Pool web page reported that some ports were closed but I'm unable to load the page now to quote it.
Edit: Still unable to load the web front end but cgminer reporting port 3333 is alive.
Edit: Edit: front end not displaying any stats but I'll quote the message for those that haven't seen it: "Sorry To those of you who video card Mine on the pool. I know we are one of the last pools that you can still mine for bitcoin with a video card. I had to close the ports due to people connecting asic miners to the video card ports. I am working on a fix and will have it implemented tomorrow."
A little update regarding the whole Saradis fiasco. We did receive a response back from him last night. The email itself was very suspicious, and did have some lines specifically that made us come to the conclusion to ban him from our site, and we will reimburse everyone according to their contribution percentage at rounds end. His response frankly, showed absolutely zero frustration or anger about the possibility of losing BTC this round. Here is his response to the accusations:
"Last night i rent 1phs for your pool from NIcehash and litle later 2Phs, to help your pool growing and you tell me about what Kano? I dont know something about the guys over there and i dont care also. About my account here in your pool is not good, you locked me out, but is your pool so its your desition. My miners find blocks when they must find and no when i want... Any way np, i find other pool to spend my power and make some profits. Good luck with your pool."
He either don't need the BTC or he just don't care. What a response. I think you made the right call Lavi/Kris.
He has been paid 0 btc. He just started mining this round.
So saradis came to your pool after Kano found out what he was doing but kept the same username, epic fail
I believe he was actively mining on both pools.
kano had his suspicions about this miner and reported it in his pool thread. He had read a comment I made in this pool thread about saradis and informed Laviathon straight away.
We still don't know if this was a malicious act or not yet. I would love to know if saradis responded to Laviathons email he sent him.
Yeah, this is being handled as it should be, in the open with clear information and discussion. Other pool ops (slush) should take note. Thank you Laviathon and kano.
As jsamm513 said, anything we can do to help just ask.
Slower but larger payouts. Hope to continue to grow. It's definitely an adventure with the diff at what it is. Krisgt30 and I have been working on some exciting stuff for the future. I don't want to say anything till it's final but going to be best if some of this stuff works out!
Its fun to mine on a small pool and watch it grow. You do need to have a lot of patience and the nerves to hold out during long rounds. The rewards are worth it.

That's a good amount to put back on. I say let it ride. I think its good for the pool to boost the hash rate. If we ever make back more than we put in then maybe then split the reward.
Whatever changes Laviathon made to the server sure did the trick.
