Yes, and I also believe an apology is in order from Experty team to their bounty community, for misrepresenting their base price, raising a secret private round even while public sale was in progress, and lying about their market cap.

We need to do better and hold ICOs accountable. To think because it's crypto, because it's grassroots, that projects will act ethically, is naive. Even well intentioned teams will siphon money at the expense of their investors if given the opportunity. Experty has proved this. Other ICOs have proven it as well.

There was no 0% bonus. The base price was incorrectly reported, because nobody paid the base price. The vast majority of token holders received a 40-60% bonus. So the average base price was somewhere near 45%. Which means, if you got a 10-20% bonus, you actually paid a premium for the token, and you had to create marketing materials to do it.

I feel dirty just thinking about it. This team is dirty.

People make it sound like the price is a victim of the bear market or fud, or people just don't understand what a hidden gem this is.

The price is exactly where it deserves to be. The team squeezed all the value out of this for themselves and left the withered husk to die. They knew exactly what they were doing. They capitalized on free marketing, then gave their marketers the worst deal possible. They did back room deals with pools and gave 60% bonus. They sacrificed value to ensure their market cap was hit.

The result is what happens when you practically give your tokens away for free in order to cross the finish line. You get a worthless currency.

How can you trust a team that raised 6500 ETH at 45-60% bonus both during and AFTER their crowdsale?  They were dishonest about their mcap, and they hid their smart contract by using a 3rd party payment processor.

The average bonus for their ICO was close to 50%. They made it sound like an exclusive rate was 20-30%. Candid questions were deflected. They completely screwed their investors because they wanted as much money as possible.

Experty is a joke in all investment circles, and a case study of what to watch out for with scammy ICOs.

Before you answer, I want to be crystal clear about what I'm asking. To begin, I realize that:

1.) Exchanges report the price via API
2.) Supply can be locked by a smart contract
3.) Supply can be reported by a token's block explorer

.. but none of those things answer how CMC verifies the exact amount of tokens that can be exchanged.

Take Ripple for example.

CMC reports about 39 billion in circulation, with a 100 billion total supply.

How do they know that those 61 billion coins can't be moved or otherwise traded?

Yet their announcement says 11,700,000 tokens given in seed.

Hi there,

I stupidly converted my ETH to USDT, thinking it was US currency. My hope was to trade it for another altcoin. I didn't see the tool where you can trade coin for coin. It turns out Bittrex doesn't allow any sort of conversion or sale of USDT. Not entirely sure why they would allow people to buy it.

Anyways, there is no point in making a tether account. I need to convert this within Bittrex. Can someone help? Their support has been unresponsive so far.
