I have exact same issue.
Long time did not open the box when open, hashboard not detect.

It loads DAG file and then hangs. I have removed overlooking. Now let's see.
Also can anyone suggest me a better overclocking setting for p106? I used
Core clock 80
Memory clock 1600
Watt 80
Cards were not stable
This was rather better setting but the rig seem to restart after few hours

HI, i am using 13 p106-100 msi card in 1 rig. Since last 2 days I am getting error "binary file (standard input) matches simple mining" very often and rig freezes. It doesn't restart itself. Kindly help !!

Hello everyone,
Has anybody had their hashrate go down on couple or all cards and then back up to normal? This happens to me pretty much with every second line which states hashrate. Reported hashrate on the pool itself changes also but around 3-7Mh/s . Can somebody advice on what the problem is? I am running 7 asus p106-100 cards atm on asrock h110 with claymore v10 mining etc. Using -200cc 1550mc and 90PL.

Hey guys,
I was wondering if anyone who uses SMOS on more than 10 P106-100 mining edition cards still experiences problems with OC and PL or did tytanick solved this issues? Also, do I still need to edit the system file to get the cards running from 2MH/s to their standard hashrate ( deleting the -allow-empty-configuration command) ?
Wanted to use the SMOS but since OC wasn't available there's not much point really.

I currently running 3 P106 rig: 2x13gpu and 1x14gpu. Dude, whats your power limit? mine set at 75w but the rig restarted very hour i guess.

Got 6x P106 on Biostar TB250
1. Out of the box, plug in 1x Gtx 1060 for testing, system boot ok, able to load SMOS.
2. Add P106 on each pcie slot, and test boot. All good. smos boot ok.
3. Remove the gtx 1060, use onboard graphic via the dvi slot, upon booting, bios changed to old bios on its own, and shows no bootable media found afterward.
4. remove one card, smos able to boot succesfully.
6. Update bios to latest bios, plug all 6 p106, and boot normally. no old bios shown up. but the system never detect the smos usb drive.
7. tried to plug ethos usb drive, boot perfectly.
8. tried smos usb drive, no boot.
9. now no idea what to do.
any help guys?

Im also having this problem.
The mobo can detect all 5 slot except gpu on the 16x slot.
the thing is, i got 3 board with same issue, and another one work flawlessly (16x detect the gpu).
Done the power cycle, gen 1, gen 2, onboard n pcie gpu.
No luck so far. anyone know what else should i try?

I'm still unable to mine with my p106. Anything more than 1 card and the power draw goes to 15 no matter what i do. I tried to follow the instructions that some other users posted but it still doesnt work. Hope they release an update to support it soon

You need to edit file /root/utils/rclocal.sh (with WinSCP for example) and remove "-a --allow-empty-initial-configuration" from nvidia-xconfig line. You will get full mining speed after reboot. :-D If anybody need a help - send me a PM.
Tested working, but cant overclock and control fan speed.
if only i could control the fan would be a good step for the moment. too loud running at 100%. haha.
dont want to buy ssd.

Miner is finding 5 cards so you are few steps further than most users that have problem with boot. I see you already start playing with over clocking options and changed power stage to 0! :

Delete this rig add it again don't change anything beside choosing miner and try it again.
What kind of PSU you have because setup like this will take 950-1100W from the wall without modifications, my 5 cards rigs are drawing 1050W and I`m using two 750W PSU for each rig.
with 4 cards and powerstage 0, no problem arise. so its out of the equation. PSU? non issue, i use more than adequate with power meter too.
Why claymore 8.1? because it give more hash speed compare to 9.4 and 9.5
Ive further tested the card on windows environment with either claymore 8.1/9.4 and 9.5 all no issue (12++ mhs)
then i create new Smos account and tested only 2 card of the 560, cant run too.
this setup i left the powerstage to 7 and stock clock.

The miner wont start. (suspect issue with fifth card so disconnect one of the 470 and run with 4 card including the 560, still wont start)

RX and R9 don't run well on the same board. Different drivers. You're gonna have to start a new rig for your RX cards.
i didnt run any r9 card.

So my rig run perfectly fine with this 4 cards
Problem happen when i plug in the 5th card - Rx560 4G
The miner wont start. (suspect issue with fifth card so disconnect one of the 470 and run with 4 card including the 560, still wont start)

Question,
i got a rig that i didnt use for mining but for testing and configure new card, once finish, that card will be plugged into the farm.
my question is, my test rig appear on the list of rig, and most of the time it will be offline (no new card to test).
so, will it be charged for 2$ per month? or should i delete it as it's offline?
