To have a merit your post must have a quality, debatable or something that meaningful. Yoh should be learn about more in english because almost that has in this forum is english except at the local boards. Your questions about merit is at the Meta section where all the topic about merit system is in there.

Re: As a beginner is it too late ?

Hello,

I'm still learning about crypto currencies and willing to buy some bitcoins. Is it good time to buy?

Thanks
As what you've said, you are a beginner so why are you rushing yourself now to buy bitcoin? Are you expecting too much that if you buy now you can have a profit right away? Just stay calm and explore and have a research first before you get in to the things like investments nor trading or anything that involves money. Just explore first how the market flow that you don't have a prpfit right away.

Re: Bitcoin affects students' performance in school

As far as I can observe being a teacher, I am definitely happy that my students are involve in cryptocurrencies and they earn for themselves and help their families. But, their school perfomance is getting worse. Please give your thoughts how will you help students to earn and at the same time it won't affect their school works?
I think this matter would depends on the individual how he/she handle his own to make his life worse that can also affect t
his performance in school. Me as a student, I think first my study but at the same time I am doing some thing that involve cryptocurrency. It depends on the person if he/she can't handle his own to make his/her performance in school be, It's not the cryptocurrency.

Re: Positive thinking brings positive things.

Forums are being filled with speculation, almost all topics that appear lead to falling bitcoin prices, whether this will continue, this is the right time to buy, blah blah blah. Come on, the storm must pass, let us focus on the positive topics instead of continuing to discuss this 50% decline. Start talking about the positive news from Singapore deputy, bitcoin that has gone up 20% today and others. Think positive and positive things will come.
I agree with this. Positive thinking makes you a positive person. All things that comes in your lofe may become negative but you still have a faith to make this positive because you believe that the feeling of being positive makes the things positive that can avoid negativity. This kind of thinking makes us motivate on what we are doing.

Are you going to wait to reach 1M for the price of bitcoin?

It depends to the flow of the market time to time. I buy bitcoin when it's $8000+ and I decided to sell it this past few days because it reach again almost 900k+ so I decided to sell it because I predicted to my mind that it turns and go back again to 500k Then now I know that my decision was right. The way I hodl is always depends on the market flow of bitcoin because I don't want to lose some of my money. I know that it is risky to invest and hold our money for short and long term but I do taking that risk just to have a profit but not for a long term holding. It only depends to the flow of the market.

Re: Best tip on saving money

Hi guys! Can you share some tried and tested tricks on making the most out of your buck and also some tips on how to save money more effectively. This will be a heck of a help to our fellow users here. Thank you so much.
The effective way to save money is to control where’s your money you put to. We need to manage in spending our money in some things. We need to be highly orginized in terms of what we want in life. Avoid buying stuffs that’s not needed. Only spend your money in your needs not in your wants. We can save money by simply avoiding things that we don’t need.

Hi guys!

iam kind of noob of this bitcoins and i have some questions i need to have answer on.

is it worth to invest right now? do guys think its gonna rise up much more or just crash?

should i buy btc, or just mine it by my self?

best regards
Asking this kind of question is not really a good to based with. Because in the marlet no one are sure of if the market price of bitcoins and other altcoins going up pr dump. Let yourself to decide when to invest your money if you know how this cycle go round. We observe first the flow of market before we invest because our prediction is not always right.

Re: Party's over. Go get a job, you lazy animals...

Strange times we live in. Crypto speculation, YouTube views, paid content. Yet no real contribution to the human evolution. A good professional is getting harder and harder to find. This generation is full of fucks who pose on YouTube, unboxing shit, and earning 100k dollars per month. Or "great economists" who are betting on a zero-value digital coin. This is insane. Go get a fuckin job, get a degree, go invent and participate in a project that has real benefits for our technological evolution. You are chasing ghosts and the next generations will have you impaled as the idiots of human history whose only occupation was to gamble and make selfies in moronic view-hungry vlogs on the internet.

So yes, hold your currencies like your life depends on it. Shallow and boring.

BTC < 8k USD. The measure of our generation...
Your statement and your words is jot that good that anyone can read. You’re saying such “fucking” “idiots” “insane” “moron” etc... How could you say those world even if you don’t know all of us here. Maybe you see few people who are addicted to gamblings but you don’t say such things like thing. That their lives and you have no rights to call them like that. Maybe they are lazy and always doing gamblings but don’t accuse them that they are idiots. We live in a cryptocurrency worl like in this kind of things, it’s natural to few of us can do bettings and gamblings. They are the one who decide from themselves and you don’t have the rights to call them idiots. Just make your own business and work for your own without insulting them.

Re: Bounty Rewards: Sell immediately or HODL?
by
micashane
on 20/02/2018, 10:42:49 UTC
I've been doing bounty campaigns only since December 2017.  Not long, in the scheme of things.  But one thing that truly surprised me during the last couple of months is the number of bounty hunters who look to sell their tokens ASAP.  At first, I didn't understand why, but I think I'm beginning to.

For me, I'm doing these bounty campaigns for a bit of fun and to give my mind a bit work to do, creatively speaking.  So my mindset for any bounty tokens is just to HODL and allow the devs to implement their roadmap and take the project through to completion.  I think this will give the best realisation of value on the tokens.  Sure, some may fail and they will likely end up worthless, but since I only invested time, not money, into receiving them, I'm not really worried.

So with that mindset, I struggled to understand why so many people were eager to offload their bounties at the earliest opportunity.

But over the weekend, I sat down and did some calculations on the accumulated bounty rewards I'm expecting to receive.  Each bounty by itself was a modest return, but when combined in totality, it was a sizeable amount.  And that's when it struck me...

Lots of people who live in less fortunate parts of the world, particularly in areas with high unemployment, probably NEED to sell their bounty rewards to put food on the table and pay their bills.

But I really don't know if my assumptions are correct.  So, my question to you is...

Do you sell your Bounty Rewards straight away or HODL?  Any insight into your reasons would be appreciated.

## If this post has been thought provoking for you, I'd really appreciate a bit of Merit in return ##
Most of the tokens from the new successful ICO was a big chance to rise it's market value after the ICO or after a month but few of them really don't. After I get the my tokens from the bounty programs, I hodl it for a moth or 1-3months rather, this is the way where I have a profit to the tokens I get in the bounties. Hodling of tokens is hard if you always doubt and think negatively. In hodling your tokens is like taking a risk if you get more profit from it or you loss some worth of your tokens if the price increases.

Re: Is HODLINg still valid to make profits
by

This recipee could be a thing of the past. Nowdays it may be better to look for opportunities as lots of talent is going into the market. Do you still think of becoming a millionaire by hodling?
Maybe it is for holding it for too long but holding is not always having a profit. Holding, trading nor investing is not always sure to make a profit in just holding it. Markets value is unstable and volatile. It goes ups and down and no one can predict what will be the exact value of it.

Should husband/wife/partner be entitled to access your email or social media account?
It doesn’t matter for me if he have the  access of all my social media accounts and email as long as he didn’t do anything to it. But if we think to be general, our emails and social media accounts is our private account and we need to have a privacy in it. They are my partners so we don’t need to be angry if they want to have access to our accounts.

For me, it isn't. We have different talent and knowledge on how we give and do stuff that we love. Bitcoins are for everyone and we have the chance to try or even have this to earn and save money for our future.

How about you guys? Is it only for the educated and knowledgeable people only?
I agree on what you’ve said. It is for everyone and not only for knowledgable persons. A newbies can learn about this to start with to know about about crypo. We all start here with a lack of ideas. We only gathered ideas and have knowledge in crypo after we explore and try to learn about this.

Was very busy with my work today, then suddenly i decided to check the price of btc if its starting to rise again. But then, i was shocked when i saw its price which is almost 16,000 usd. What will happen to bitcoin's price tomorrow or the next weeks to come? Will it continue to drop or will increase a little? Why is this happening? Thats a very huge drop.
No one will know if the market price gets higher or lower than the price today. By this time, the price of it continuously to drop but it is happen also in a way back several years and months so it means that it is possible again to pump and get a higher profit if we still hold.

If Bitcoin is legal on your country, what do you want to do for keep bitcoin in your country, as far as we know there are some countries that have banned bitcoin circulating in the country.

let's exchange ideas for the development of bitcoin in our country
I’ll do the same thing I do recently. Like holding and continuously try trading nor investing the way I hold my coins. I still hold it and wait to pump the market price again to have profit and avoid losses.
