https://cointelegraph.com/news/bitcoin-traditional-markets-drop-3-as-coronavirus-spreads-in-italy

As the coronavirus spread in Italy recently, bitcoin market has dropped 3% and also the traditional market including all the top ranked cryptocurrencies. Can coronavirus spreading be the cause?

It sounds like a rumor. I do not believe that the disease could affect the markets, especially when it happened in Europe (Italy) and not in China

Re: Bitcoin Halving Could drop Inflation Rate lower than central banks
by
migws
on 26/02/2020, 19:32:48 UTC
As Satoshi Created the Bitcoin and designed a protocol to be an inflationary currency as the value of bitcoin is volatile. Also as bitcoin’s inflation always decreases every four years because of this bitcoin halving. As of now, the BTC’s inflation rate is around 3.6% and we are expecting it to drop to 1.8% after the bitcoin halving event. Comparing it to the average central banks, the cryptocurrency has a lower inflation rate.

“When someone tries to buy all the world’s supply of a scarce asset, the more they buy the higher the price goes.”

As the supply of bitcoin is limited, the rewards of the miners were decreased every 210,000 blocks.

The Central Banks telling the public the average inflation rate is at 2% but could indicate higher than up to 10%.

The estimated inflation rate increase in 2020 is at 2.5% because of the bitcoin halving.

Re: Gaming Industry and Cryptocurrency!

Also, this games are trendy because it uses cryptocurrency as a currency in the game surely this idea could easily implemented some popular games like Fortnite, Dota 2 , LOL, etc. In this kind of game, cryptocurrency is still not used but possible as a payment method kind could easily be a great option to use since there are also a lot of gamers in the cryptocurrency community.

Gaming community is hundreds of times bigger than crypto community. Gaming companies don't have to appeal to crypto enthusiasts, because they are already paying for their products, and adding crypto support would barely improve it. Steam dropped Bitcoin support and they didn't see any loss of revenue as the result. The existing payments work well enough for everyone, so there's no chance gamers would be adopting crypto if it will be added to their games, they will stick to what they are familiar with.

However, perhaps it is better to become a pioneer than to be late with the integration? I think that Steam can afford to integrate crypto payments both on its platform and in its games. If in the future the crypto industry begins to grow strongly, Steam will benefit very very much from this, because it will be already in

Re: Is Bitcoin really still decentralized??
by
migws
on 14/02/2020, 19:42:07 UTC
After the years in trading Bitcoin it came more and more clear to me that Bitcoin is technically not decentralized anymore... its mainly owned by huge mining farms or early adopters who are able to manipulate the market at will, many exchanges playing with Bitcoin and Altcoins by making fools out of the normal Joe who wants to enter the Crypto world, i know many here will think that you should be ready and get informed before taking any step into the crypto world, but does it not bother anyone that some people are enriching them self by kicking the crap out of your wallets??

Bitcoin Mining is dead unless you own a mining farm with the necessary hashrate, again only big companies having access to Bitcoin!!!

What is your thought about this??

You are talking not about decentralization. All that you described is building a market and playing big players and companies. Yes, this is a problem, but it does not make Bitcoin someone’s property that can be spoiled or destroyed. Bitcoin is decentralized, no one controls coins, except its flow that calls a volatility

Re: Do they accept bitcoin in your country embassy?
by

on 26/01/2020, 14:16:28 UTC
As far as I know, even though my country is a Bitcoin country place, our embassy does not accept Bitcoin directly but we can pay for it service using Bitcoin through a third party gateway payment.  I hope that, one day, our government  office will accept Bitcoin directly.
Maybe soon there will be a chance when government already put rules and restrictions that we will follow to make it legalised. Even in my country even we have a registered government crypto wallets. Embassy and government agencies were not still available.

Perhaps institutions like the embassy and government agencies will take crypto last. This is a difficult process.

Re: Promote Bitcoin..... It is for "us"
by
migws
on 20/01/2020, 21:26:47 UTC
I only promoting bitcoin to other people brave faced with moment where some time bitcoin with lower price and never give advertising of bitcoin with some person is afraid faced bad moment when bitcoin down, I have faced with many people when promoting investment site and always make me fault because their investment have down and scam, only ready when getting profit but not have ready when price down or scam.
Wise enough. Truly bitcoin needs all the support and publicity it can get. It's already big we all know but it can still become something greater. We just need to be wise when it comes to promoting or advertising the use or investing on cryptocurrencies particularly bitcoins to ensure that it would not backfire to us or to bitcoin in the long run. Just some proper heads-up to people who are aspiring to become bitcoin investors.
I don't think it will backfire that much anyway. Even if their government decided to ban cryptos, they'll surely buy and sell personally where government wouldn't notice it.
Bitcoin is kinda being promoted anyway indirectly in popular shows in TV. Commonly you would hear it in midnight talk shows or even podcasts.
Promoting bitcoin is still happening. Let us say that there are people who actually know things about bitcoin is sharing their thoughts to others. That is also why I am here because I have one friend that shares the goodness of cryptocurrency and he actually encourages me to enter on this kind of investment. And I am also sharing my thoughts and knowledge with others personally. But as I am joining signature campaigns and bounties I can promote cryptocurrency into different sectors of social media and forums like this one.

Do you know why promoting Bitcoin is so slow? Because general literacy and understanding are too poor, people do not know how to use Bitcoin correctly so as not to remain losers. There are too many scammers around and everyone is afraid of Bitcoin. It is needed to run some kind of free lessons and training in which people would be taught to understand crypto, and such lessons should be online and in many languages, that is, international. This is what will help promote Bitcoin, but nobody will do it.

Re: Monday Is the Best Day to Buy Bitcoin?
by

on 20/01/2020, 21:17:56 UTC
I don't believe in such things, come man maybe it was just a coincidence that the marks had happened always on Monday. For me the best day to buy bitcoin is when you see it on sale and you have the money to buy at your fullest.

It’s best to watch the current status of Bitcoin on the chart. Then you can understand exactly whether to buy it or not. This is logical. Due to the volatility, I cannot consider any of the days of the week the most suitable, because the price is changeable

Re: Will Bitcoin fail if Satoshi is found?
by
migws
on 04/01/2020, 13:37:38 UTC
isn't bitcoin decentralized crypto? those who control prices are investors, and users, not satoshi. other than that, I think if satoshi is found, he will only be asked something, or other things by government people, maybe invited to work together for something new, or other benefits, right? that's why Craig Wright insisted on recognizing himself as a satoshi. however, it was too late for the decline in the price of bitcoin caused by Satoshi being discovered. however, I believe that satoshi will not show himself.

You see everything as something very rosy. Do you think that the person who created the P2P financial system of a future will be invited to work somewhere? Do not make me laugh, we live in a cruel world and the first thing that will happen to Satoshi is the capture and interrogation in order to gain power over Bitcoin. That is why he will not reveal himself

Well yeah if they tend to use it as illegal activity they should be stopped...

No wonder the police is taking measurements against such acts. What would you expect? Use electricity produced by companies for free?
Nevertheless they should go legal at least and use other alternatives. If they have so much money for buying so many rigs they should go solar panels instead.

I'm not a judger but that's what i would do if i would be consuming such amount of power for my own rigs.

I agree with you that having so much money they could buy a lot of solar panels and have good mining efficiency, but they decided otherwise

Price fluctuations may be an indicator of investor sentiment. Hashrate, though, is often seen as the better market number to watch in order to truly evaluate Bitcoin adoption, and recent hashrate statistics indicate that adoption continues to grow.

By all accounts, Bitcoin has had quite a tumultuous year. After starting the year more than 80% down from its all-time high, BTC recovered significantly before once again losing several thousands of dollars in value.

Source link here

For me, I think this could be another "unsure" prediction or analysis.

Although the hashrate of Bitcoin has increased significantly, this isn't guaranteed that Bitcoin will be having a big bull run when halving draws near. Remember that there are still scammers out there like PlusToken, lurking from the shadows, waiting to strike when BTC moons, then they dump a lot of their assets to bring the market down again.

I can't be sure if the increased hashrate of Bitcoin would really become "bullish" because the market today is so unpredictable. What do you guys think?

Over the past 3 years, I have seen a huge number of signs and you know what? Almost all of them turned out to be fake because Bitcoin does not care about logic, it goes its own way, which is impossible to predict. Just wait for halving and hope for a brighter future.

Even though the cryptocurrency industry is not new to ups and downs, 2019 has turned out to be the year with the most surprising reveals. The long-lasting bear market of 2018 moved market analysts to call it the year of regulatory reckoning, leaving many jurisdictions uncertain about how to treat cryptocurrencies. However, 2019 also turned out to be the year of the comeback.

Enter the new year immediately,Why not review the hot topics of crypto in 2019?

I like to see what China will bring to cryptocurrency next year when they launch their coin. There are trying bring coin that wont have anything to do with bitcoin, lets see the response even with the population behind it.
Government backed "cryptocurrency"?
Well, China already has a currency... it's the Chinese fiat currency... both digital and physical. I guess what the government needs is to fully convert the fiat currency into digital coin or just use stablecoin backed by the its fiat currency. A coin that does not have the main features of cryptocurrency do not really deserve to be called a cryptocurrency,in my opinion

This is a way to control your citizens. I do not see anything good in creating a national cryptocurrency because this shit coin will be controlled by third parties. Do not forget what kind of policies China pursues, the country's leaders will not allow people to use Bitcoin or altcoins that cannot be controlled. All that does not give power will be rejected by China, remember this

That's a great move by the Uganda police, very much appreciated. I hope investors will get their whole money back and on time. Such actions from law enforcement agencies will discourage the scammers and will help in bringing the faith of investors back in cryptocurrency. We need more such actions.

I agree. I am glad that law enforcement agencies find fraudulent companies and put fraudsters behind bars. Such crypto scammers and their schemes must be eliminated, respect Uganda police

Re: So Italy is now anti-cash and pro-Bitcoin?
by
migws
on 11/12/2019, 18:51:35 UTC
It's not like they would be anti-fiat, they're just anti-cash just like many countries in Europe. Slowly we need to eliminate the cash utilization which is an unnecessary spending. Why use cash when you can easily use electronic payments? Of course that using cash you can make transactions "off-the-grid" sort to say, but if you are a person with high ethics the only thing that wouldn't keep you away from using cash is the possible tracking that banks or people following our accounts' transactions might operate. That is ilegal, but still are you willing to trust the banks on this? That's why I think Bitcoin will totally transform the society as we know it.

Bitcoin will completely change society and the process of exchanging values, rebuild the banking system, but I have a question, will countries accept Bitcoin? This is a direct loss of power.

He very well could be but only once we gain widespread, mainstream adoption which is possibly still some time away. Bitcoin will need to be standing alongside giants like Paypal before something like TIME recognises Satoshi’s true genius.

But we are talking about a man and not about PayPal and etc. The question is different, is it possible to nominate a person who is still anonymous?

Re: Any recommendation for bitcoin prediction service?
by
migws
on 06/12/2019, 18:20:55 UTC
You either make your own decisions through research and thinking, or don't trade at all. These "bitcoin signal" services are 99.9% pure bullcrap anyway. If I could predict bitcoin prices accurately, do you think it would make sense for me to announce my "predictions" in a group? Of course not. I'd take advantage of it for my own.

Just choose the exchange where you will buy and sell Bitcoin. There is the current Bitcoin chart, keep an eye on this. I think if you keep calm and sell during the pump, and buy during the dump, you will be successful. It all depends on you, my advice is that you do not need to believe any analytic services and signals, this is dangerous
