Blockchain Doesn't Have to Be Perfect
by
mikan111
on 01/10/2018, 09:01:23 UTC
The greatest suspicions and alleged remarks on the blockchain really reflect all the hypocrisies of this world. The blockchain is expected to be perfect while at the same time the traditional system has more holes than patches.
Why would it be necessary for the blockchain to be perfect while everything else is in complete disarray?
We really do not have to be disturbed by such remarks, but only to work on improvements.
Blockchain has the potential to improve important problems in society's economic architecture and it leaves very little room for deceptions and unfair evaluations.
That's where the problem begins for the traditionalist.
The impossibility of speculation and false assessment, the misuse of all kinds, which are usually done at the expense of ordinary people, terrify them the most.
We don't need to be concerned about whether the blockchain is perfect, but to improve it and make it better and the rest is unavoidable

Re: Do bitcoin debit cards help with scalability for now?
by

I have the impression that many understand BTC as a substitute for FIAT money and that it needs all banking products as well as FIAT money, which is in total contravention of the idea of BTC being created as a decentralized currency!

For now, certainly not, but we can not be so sure that in the future this will not going to happen. Let's look at a bit in the past and see that sometimes there have been inconceivable changes!

The crypto market is mostly measured by the value of Bitcoin so tendencies related to its growth or decline in value influence most directly on altcoins!

An incredible and exciting event that testifies that Bitcoin is becoming a part of modern culture in every sense. It can even be seen as a synonym for progress and financial independence.

Re: What manipulators want

Since there are markets, there are manipulators, these two go together. Strong players manipulate the prices and the news that go in their favor, both as FUD or false good ones. Of course, this is not exactly a commendable skill, but a reality. What do they want? Control over the market and big earnings. Simply as that.

Re: What will happen if the all countries convert to cryptocurrency?
by
mikan111

It is certain that this will not happen in the near future. Only when governments and central banks have total control over the cryptocurrencies only then. Bitcoin is designed as a decentralized currency, so any government or banking control is tackling the very essence and reason for the existence of Bitcoin.

Will blockchain technology be abused?
by
mikan111
on 17/09/2018, 07:21:23 UTC
We are witnessing incredible turmoil on the world stage, both political and financial.
It is obvious that the current financial system has come to its end when it is counter-averse to itself.
The emergence of blockchain technology has opened up new opportunities and created the hope that there is a chance for a more equitable distribution of value and capital.
However, we see that even in the crypto world, there are equally manipulations and speculations, as well as in traditional stock exchange operations.
There is one aspect that overcomes everything.
The unprecedented abilities of blockchain technology to store transaction-related information can be used as a model for the storage of all personal data and is thus used by the state and its agencies, which will control the individual at Orwellian level.
Can someone add some optimistic thoughts?

Re: Even the Politicians have secret investment in Bitcoin

I'm not surprised that politicians invest in the crypto market. Although they may be forced to speak out against the cryptocurrencies due to various interests, they can not be prevented from doing what they like personally, especially if they are thinking about their future and blocking technology.

I do not worry about it at all, whether the farmers left their business and became a brokers with the appearance of the stock market, they are not of course. Crytpo creates a totally new generation of investors whose success requires high-tech training.

For a year or two, they will all have to accept blockchain technology because it will be the reality and necessity to participate in the global financial market. As soon as some countries understand that, they will have more chances in the future and will be prepared for what comes!

Re: BITCOIN NOT SO ANONYMOUS!
by
mikan111
on 05/09/2018, 06:47:44 UTC
"Bitcoin is often described as an anonymous currency because it is possible to send and receive bitcoins without giving any personally identifying information. However, achieving reasonable anonymity with Bitcoin can be quite complicated and perfect anonymity may be impossible.

Bitcoin is pseudonymous. Sending and receiving bitcoins is like writing under a pseudonym. If an author’s pseudonym is ever linked to their identity, everything they ever wrote under that pseudonym will now be linked to them. In Bitcoin, your pseudonym is the address to which you receive Bitcoin. Every transaction involving that address is stored forever in the blockchain. If your address is ever linked to your identity, every transaction will be linked to you.

In the original Satoshi whitepaper, it was recommended that Bitcoin users use a new address for each transaction to avoid the transactions being linked to a common owner. This would be the equivalent of writing many books under different pseudonyms. Although this remains a best practice, it is not enough to guarantee full anonymity due to multi-input transactions."

Re: Are fiat currencies necessary in the world?
by
mikan111
on 03/09/2018, 07:12:58 UTC
The use of money has evolved through history and FIAT money is just one of the last evolutionary phase of money.
"Representative money has now been replaced by fiat money. Fiat is the Latin word for "let it be done." Money is now given value by a government fiat or decree. In other words, enforceable legal tender laws were made. By law, the refusal of "legal tender" money in favor of some other form of payment is illegal."
Through FIAT money the government exercised its power and planned development of the economy and of course manipulates the market.
It is obvious that it will never give up the resource in achieving the rule over the population.
FIAT money is not necessary, and it is mainly the source of many accidents in the economy, but as I said, how can someone give up the greatest tool of control.

In that case, a central regulatory authority would be needed and this is in a total contradiction with the idea with which the BTC was created, decentralized digital currency without a central bank or single administrator.

The essence of the bitcoin is not in the destruction of anything, it's primarily an investment outside the centralized financial system. The banks are afraid of it, but for the reason that the BCT can in the future reduce their speculative power.

Re: Bitcoin is now consuming 1% of the world's electricity. Is that sustainable?
by
mikan111
on 29/08/2018, 21:54:34 UTC
This information is excessive and possibly taken out of context. 1% of world's electricity cost more than all crypto market, and that doesn't make sense.
Like many other alleged curiosities, this one is also in the service of creating antagonism towards the crypto world.

Re: Why do older people like investing in Gold/Silver?
by
mikan111
on 28/08/2018, 07:11:24 UTC
Older generations traditionally invest in precious metals in order to preserve the value of their assets. Their connection to new technologies cannot be called significant, and at the same time, the media disrupts them to try to invest in the crypto.
