How to Achieve Mass Adoption of Blockchain
With Video Games Leading the Way
Blockchains present an opportunity to rethink the status quo. As a new technology, many people are unaware that the true power of blockchains is the ability provide an architecture of trust. When the network can be trusted to return authentic, accurate information, without depending on a central authority, it changes the entire structure of the information age. It is possible to create these assets with scarcity built in. In current game worlds its possible to know an item is rare or unique, but typically, the rarity is obscured to the player and unique does not meet the standard definition of one of a kind. With items that exist on the blockchain, the player could look at the contract, or code, that generated the item and know exactly how many are in existence. Whether shopping for a new object or trying to find a truly unique item in the game world, its possible for the player to understand the real value.

An intriguing new feature is the ability to level up or evolve digital assets. This evolution can be done through any number of mechanisms in or out of the game. The changes to the asset are recorded permanently and referenced through the blockchain. Though in Alien Arsenal has just a few sample skills for the Aliens, its easy to imagine how this proof of concept could scale into a branching system of skills that take a digital, blockchain, asset from a common item into unique.
The Realization of Asset Value
Persistence, cross game use, scarcity, history, customization and leveling up will all impact the value of digital assets on the blockchain. Paired with true ownership, the result be a dramatic change in thinking about the value provided to players by video games. As the realization that items are in demand and openly available to exchange on secondary markets, players, seeing a potential return on their investment, for both time and money, will change their approach to gaming, intuitively balancing the return on both entertainment value and financial incentives.

You've got it sundy399! Our intent isn't that you are stuck with just one avatar, but you have the choice of which one you use when and where. Think of it as choosing the right outfit for the right occasion.
Since they belong to you, you could even create a generic character, grind it's levels up and then sell it, or sell it once you're tired of it. All kinds of options.

Suggestions Please: Where to get ERC20 Based Token Security Review (Audit)
We've recently built an ERC20 Token that we would like to use as the basis for an economy. This token will be used as our currency between content creators and consumers.
We'd like to have our token audited to make sure that there are no unforeseen consequences to decisions we made on functionality. We've tested it throughly in house, but would like to have a professional review that would provide us some additional peace of mind (for everyone who's part of the economy) about the security of the token.
In developing the token we used much of what is available through OpenZepplin for standardization so we've contacted Zepplin Solutions to request a security audit with no response.
Any suggestions on businesses that offer a professional audit would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!!!

8 Circuit Studios (8circuitstudios.com) is in the process of developing a new token based economy to democratize the creation of digital assets. We see the richest source of digital assets currently available is in video games. As veterans of the video game industry we understand the creation process for digital assets and wish to establish an economic system that allows, not just the publishers of game environments to profit, but also the content creators and the consumers of the assets (gamers).
To do this we have created an ERC20 based token to power our economy. A token intended for exchanged between all participants of video game worlds: Gamers, publishers, developers and content creators.
Additionally, we have created Ethereum Smart Contracts that are actual objects in our games, called Smart Game Objects. This allows the gamer to extract value from the game through actual ownership of the object, and allows content creators the accessibility to create their own objects and profit from them fully.
At this time we have two games in development (a mobile and a PC title). We have crushed the barriers of entry into token economies (or crypto currencies) by easily on boarding gamers with their own wallet and providing tokens with a credit card purchase in game. Additionally, we have created the first prototype Smart Game Objects which establish the initial protocols for managed and changeable digital assets on the blockchain.
We are not planning to have a public ICO, but will be offering a private sale to individuals who wish to support the creation of this economy and will sell tokens to the players of our games through credit card and crypto purchases.

We (8 Circuit Studios) are in the process of developing two blockchain based games and a platform that allows for the development, ownership and transactions of digital assets on the blockchain. To do it right there are a lot of issues that you will need to overcome. Building on the blockchain is still bleeding edge. Games like cryptokitties doesn't really provide ownership over their assets. As the player, you own the string that identifies the kitty. Anyway, that's kinda beside the point, depending on what you want to build it will do, your skillset and how much you want to provide back to the community, it could take anywhere from a few months to... well, indefinitely. We have a team of 16 people working on two games and the platform, our first game has been in development for about 9 months.

Re: Changing Digital Asset Ownership in Video Games with Smart Game Objects
Is it possible to buy,sell and store a smart contract in a wallet?
Yes! It is possible. By indicating the owner of the contract (with the owners wallet address) that is where the contract is "stored," technically who holds the private key to make changes to the contract. From that point the owner can simply change the owner of the contract to a different address. If you've used something like the Mist wallet that allows you to interact with smart contracts, there are a number of built in options that can be interacted with based on authorization. As the owner of the contract, one of the things we provide is the ability to transfer ownership to another wallet.
We've also already built wallets into our game that allow you to manage this.
