Re: Alt coins worth buying

It depends how much risk you want to take and how much you want do diversify, but I would recommend keeping an eye on these altcoins:
- Binance Coin $BNB
- Neo $NEO
- Zilliqa $ZIL
- CanYa $CAN
- Eximchain $EXC
- Loki Network $LOKI
- TomoChain $TOMO
- Wysker $WYS

There are also a lot of other coins to watch out for, but these are my current picks at the moment. Some of the coins I mentioned are very undervalued coins which I believe will be giving a great ROI in the future, while some of the other more well-known are great projects which is more low-risk investments in my opinion. Do your own research before investing.

Re: Tips on choosing the right ICO

How to choose the right tips for choosing a good project?
I wrote a topic based on this before which you can read here:
What are ICO's and investments advices

"Things you should look for before investing in ICO's:
- Team: How is the team, do they have enough people and the experience of pulling it off?
- Idea: Do you believe in their idea and is it realistic?
- Roadmap: Do they have a roadmap, and how much time do they need to launch their product?
- Hard cap: Unnecessary high hard cap often means they are in for the money. Lower hard cap is usually more profitable because it's easier to multiple your investment
- Bonus: How much bonuses has been given during the pre-sale and ICO? If someone got tokens at a much better price than you do, then you might get burned.
- Tokens for sale: The higher percentage of tokens available for sale, the better it is for the investors.
- Team's tokens locked period: How long are the team's tokens locked? And are they locked at all? It should at least be locked for 1 year minimum to show the investors that they believe in their own project and won't sell their tokens after a short time.
- Competition: How is the competition? Who are the competitors and what does this project has to offer compared to them?".

I hope this will help you finding great ICO's in the future!

Re: Why invest in altcoin?

Buying cryptocurrencies are a high risk / high reward kind of investment. Blockchain can give huge profits if you make good calls and huge losses if you make bad calls. The technology itself is very interesting will probably be used a lot in the future. I recommend to search for great projects with a use case for the token which can bring a lot of value, and with a team you believe can make the project/business successful.

The year 2018 will be huge for cryptocurrencies. A lot of projects are releasing their products now and if they get real useful for the average Joe it may impact the price in a very positive way. Also a lot of new blockchain development infrastructure projects are rolling out testnet, mainnet etc. and ecosystems and it is very interesting to see how it will make an impact on the market.

Re: If you had $50, what would you invest in?

Hey Folks, I know this was posted all the time, and sorry about that. But I'd like to hear from you what would you invest in if you had 50 dollars in your pocket ready to put into some crypto?
With only $50 USD I would go all-in on Bitcoin since it's the most safe coin to invest in and which will stay for a long time due to its popularity and reputation.

Re: What is making btc price going down?
by

I've been observing  the market for a longtime  it’s now about a year .  in your opinion,  what is main culprit of decreasing the price of  btc so dramatically  ? Are you expecting the price to go up dramatically soon ?
Very easy explained the price is determined by the demand. If more people wants to buy than sell, the price will go up. If more people want to sell than buy, the price will go down. This is how it should be and this is one of the things people usually like about Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies.

I have been into CanYa since the ICO and it keeps impressing me. The partnerships is huge. And the team is professional in everything they do unlike many other projects. I'm so excited for the global launch this month Smiley

Re: NEM vs ETH
by

I believe that upcoming catapult update will change everything and NEM, a truly fantastic and cheap cryptocurrency with a unique and progressive proof of importance concept will challenge ETH at it's own game and replace the damned Buterin's $hit coin, which only old grannies with their cryptokitties find useful
Haha, this must be a joke? You can not be serious thinking that NEM will replace Ethereum. If any coin will replace it, then EOS is the closest one to achieve that in my opinion.

Re: KYC - Passports and documents for sale on Dark Web
by
mikeey89
on 27/02/2018, 16:51:53 UTC
There has been a huge influx of passport available for sale on the Dark Web.

Also have seen posts where people are being accused of double entry into ICO's because the scammers used their passport information prior to them getting signed up.
This is something I have always been worried about. I never uploads my passport anywhere, but uses my Driver's license instead. I am also insured against identity theft and recommend you doing the same.

I completely agree with you. Neo is an excellent coins which will reach new ATH this year and I think $500 dollars is within reach, but maybe higher as well.

Re: Samsung is going to support bitcoin
by
mikeey89
on 17/02/2018, 11:58:19 UTC
Today I heard that Samsung is going to make bitcoin mining hardware especially Antminer S9 which I heard that they will name it as 'Samsung S9', with this act by Samsung everyone can understand that Samsung is in the favor of bitcoin and they will strongly support bitcoin. Almost all of the Samsung users will then know about this device and so more and more people will then know about bitcoin and the demand and the users of bitcoin will be increased too much.
When big players like Samsung is entering the cryptocurrency market they do it because they see a big potential. This also means that blockchain is getting more mainstream!
