Would be happy to buy. Just have to figure out how to get the price down to a reasonable number the days of people paying $22 MH/s is really over. Given that 1 MH/s can't generate $22 in earnings.

I can see that Umbrella-LTC and the other coins are going to take off once it become widely traded on multiple exchanges. Umbrella-LTC is unlike any other coin currently on the market.

Umbrella-LTC I believe is going to become highly marketable to merchants, given the insured aspect of the currency.

All great news coming from Umbrella with their first coin launch. Any ETA on when Atomic Trade will open up trading?

.028xx coin with .87mhs....

I rented 200MH and had 5 coins in half an hour Tongue

I managed to grab 5 blocks solo, before the pools came online. Plus had 7 Blocks from the last launch coming my way. So really hope this coin trades at a good rate.

If you dump before the massive incoming "insurance" dump lol

So am I missing something with this coin. I don't expect that the other 5 coins from each block to be released onto the exchanges. Aren't those intended to be security should something happen and the coins be stole or something. Or am I missing the intention of these coins.

Hi all.
We heard a few nights back that GAWminers will be leaving bitcointalk soon, after outgrowing it, and will have its own forum.  From what I've been told, its going to be a nice, proper, commercially supported effort which I heartily support.
Until then, I humbly offer this site:  http://gawforum.usertalk.info
Its nothing fancy, but will hopefully allow us to organize our conversations a bit better than bitcointalk is designed for.
Cheers,
Cassey
This looks good and I like that you have key lessons learned that we need to have front and center like using the 6 pin connector not the 8-pin that can short out if the wrong one is used. It will be really nice to have a link to instructions and downloads that can be found at the top-level.

Would someone please upload a photo of HOW to plug in a 6-pin connector into the 8-pin socket???

Thanks!

it's easy the only use the 6 pins on the right side (latch should be facing up). Look at the connectors some round and some square. It only fits one way.

I have both an A2 and War Machine (another War Machine coming week 2). What would you like to know?

Well... for starters:

1)  Is the A2 power usage what is advertised?  (about 7-8 watts/Mh)

2)  Why buy one over the other?  If I did the math right, the cost difference is high between A2 and A1, with something like a year or two ROI based on power cost.

3)  Given a multi-year ROI due to cost difference, were you comfortable with the 3 month warranty of the A2 (I think that is what is was, please correct if I'm not remembering correctly)

Cassey
I'll do my best, as stated in my previous post my miners are hosted.

1) I don't know for certain. However all reports I have seen point to the advertised wattage being accurate.

2) Speaking honestly, I would purchase the A2 over another War Machine right now. But ONLY because of the bumps and issues GAW has had getting them going right. Once the War Machine is stable and the bugs are worked out, it will be a better product (and is cheaper $/Mh) if you are hosted. If you take ownership of the miners and host them yourself, A2 is probably a bit better only because of power consumption. I don't give 2 winks about power consumption because mine are hosted (and I'm a founder so they will ALWAYS be hosted). Smiley

3) Three month warranty for the A2 is fine. It seems pretty standard. Gridseed was only 30 or 60 days I believe. By the time the 90 day warranty is up on the A2, I will have already moved up to a bigger machine and sold it.
Guess I should have asked before I purchased but what is GAW's warranty on hardware?

Great. Now we get to have a price war. Both zeus and hashra have already cut prices for batch 2. Set to ship June 15th.

Isn't free enterprise a wonderful thing?    Get the power problem licked, and drop that War Machine down a bit more... and just maybe...

Actually, I'd like to hear more about the A2 products, since those are suppose to be shipping next week.

All of my miners are hosted. I can speak to their performance, but not their physical appearance.

What kind of performance are you seeing. Looking to purchase 2 - week 3 hosted war machines. Trying to figure an ROI

You need to check there shipping the savings are really not there.

Seriously!  The Zeus "Fury" equivalent had something like a $49-$59 shipping charge - outrageous for a ~$150 unit.

My apologizes I was referring to the higher end units. Clearly I should look closer. My apologies.

That maybe so. I didn't go that far. Make sure you do your own research.

Been running the Fury for ~18 hours @328mhz.

ICA0                | (5s):1.318M (avg):1.335Mh/s | A:5440 R:43 HW:283 U:0.0/m

Dropped it down to 320 .. Still seeing errors @ ~1.25MH/s... Going to let it run for a bit. Then try 300mhz. Sad

Adjusting the frequency, won't change the HW 's believe me I tried. Best to shut it off and wait for firmware update. And with btc going over 615 today very sad.

What kind of usb cable does the falcon use? USB A- B? or a USB A to mini B like the furry and gridseeds?

A to B (not mini)

Yes I’m seeing a 40% reject rate!

Make sure that the pool has vardiff. If the diff is not at the right level you will see a lot of rejects.
