Anyone have luck SOLO MINING on a Verge 4.01 wallet? When I try to get one of my GPU rigs to use the wallet via http://walletserverip:20102 I get empty data received in json_rpc_call
Wallet is fully sync'd

Found the problem

Hello, miners! I have one problem with Awesome miner. When i use it on local pc i can see interface with gpu, mh/s etc.. But other machines on local network show interface offline. For another machines i use "Specify existing installation path". Cant use "automatic download" because "o connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it 127.0.0.1:4028". What im doing wrong ?

check virus scanner or firewall on miner..  Recommend disabling both

I keep having a problem where the miner stops. It seems to always be ccminer. The other miners that Awesome Miner uses don't seem to do this. Not sure if it's an issue with ccminer or with Awesome Miner (in regards to the parameters or build it uses).

Sometimes it will start after a profit switch cycle and then nothing happens. It will shows the first few lines of the miner running with no errors but nothing after that as if it waiting for something. This last time it was running find and it showed it had accepted 44/44 blocks but then it stopped for a long time. You can see before that 42/44, 43/44, etc.

Is it possible there is nothing else to mine (i.e.: issue with MiningPoolHub?). Shouldn't it pull something else at that point? Not sure what the X or X (X/X) denotes.

Earlier today as well, I don't remember what was on the screen but it had been sitting there doing nothing for who knows how long. The GPU was at 1% so I know it wasn't mining anything.

Soon as I stop and restart the miner, it starts working fine again.

Run GPEDIT
computer/administrative/windows components/Windows Error Reporting
Display Error Notification : DISABLE
Disable Windows Error Reporting : ENABLE
Prevent display of the user interface for critical errors : Enable
Disable Logging : Enable

Close and reboot

Try 80% power, +100 cpu, +500 mem

Re: [ANN] ccminer 2.2.2 - opensource - GPL (tpruvot)

After finding out that ccminer-alexis-hsr doesn't support >10 GPUs I'm trying to switch over to ccminer 2.2.3 tpruvot which does.

The problem is the hashing rate on X17 is 21% less on ccminer 2.2.3

Any recommendations?  Both tests done using same cards on the same rig with -i 20.

See: https://imgur.com/a/z4Qtw

This image shows the screenshot of alexis-hsr vs tpruvot 2.2.3, there is a significant difference.

https://github.com/alexis78/ccminer

but the MAX_GPUS is set to 16 in the source on github in cuda_helper.h and miner.h (I compared to the KlausT commit source, having no knowlegde in programming myself)

maybe something different isn't working?

Yea it a) won't accept -d 10,11 and b) doesn't utilize cards when -d omitted properly.  Maybe an issue with older cuda

your capture is not my miner

You are correct, its the earlier fork ccminer-alexis78 that has this problem...  Any chance you know how to make Provos Alexis78 aware of the problem?  Can't run profit switching on 12 GPU rigs because of other forks are not working with GPU #11 (#10) and #12 (#11) properly.

112 hours ago I setup two identical miners to compare the standard profit switching to the 24hr profit switching.  So far here is the outcome

MINER1 (ahashpool) = 0.01337059 BTC = $180.31 in 112 hours or $38.64/day avg
MINER2 (ahashpool24hr) = 0.01399279 BTC = $188.70 in 112 hours or $40.43/day avg

Rigs are running 6x1070ti, 85% power, +100GPU, +500MEM, NemosMiner 2.3, 900 interval - Values calculated off $13,486/BTC

happy new year miners
 Grin

Can i have example bat file only for neoscrypt  for 6 X 1060 plz

You will be editing the bat file to change the payout address so while you're doing that delete all the other entries in -Algorithm except neoscrypt and change the part for the cards to -SelGPUDSTM '0 1 2 3 4 5' -SelGPUCC '0,1,2,3,4,5'

One algo kinda defeats the purpose of an autoswitching miner though  Wink

All day today x17 has been paying way more than neoscrypt, leave algo alone, you'll appreciate

New year's Eve is paying very well, very profitable day

I'm conducting a multi week test using two rigs, 6x1070ti

83 hours in
MINER1 - ahashpool
MINER2 - ahashpool24hr

So far ahashpool24 is 2.3% more revenue.   My guess is in the end both of these are going to be pretty darn close.  Some weeks one might be a few % more, other weeks the other...

Also those looking to 'autoclose' ccminer if it hangs.
1]Start>Run>Regedit>OK
2]Now navigate to the following location:- HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\ Desktop
Highlight Desktop,on the right pane of the Registry Editor you will find REG_SZ entry AutoEndTasks
3]Right click on it and select Modify. Change the value data to 1.The default value data is 0.Click OK and close the Registry Editor.
4]Navigate to [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\Windows Error Reporting\]
5]Create a DWORD called DontShowUI and set the value to 1.
6]Restart the System.

Running zPool + windows 8.1

- It sometimes crashes my nVidia drivers when changing between algos. To combat this, I've pushed the autoswitch out to 2 hours.
-Sometimes it just crashes the mining software and then nothing is running for 2 hours.

Is there any way to have nemosminer auto restart when it crashes? I had this setup with awesome miner and it helped fix any issue.
Or should I just setup a smart plug (tp link h110) and have it restart my computer when electrical draw drops?

adjust intensity will fix crashing.  also hard set page file to 12000

modify Ccmineralexis78.ps1
"sib" = " -i 19 -d $SelGPUCC" #Sib
"x17" = " -i 19 -d $SelGPUCC" #X17
"c11" = " -i 19 -d $SelGPUCC" #C11
modify CcminerKlaust.ps1
"neoscrypt" = " -i 15 -d $SelGPUCC" #NeoScrypt

I have $10,000 available to purchase mining equipment and unlimited free electricity provided through a company lease.

I am fairly computer literate but not an expert by any means. Don't build my own computers or write programs etc. What is the best way for me to go and what coin(s) should I look into mining?

You can build three (6 GPU) rigs, each will mine $1000-$1200/month using NemosMiner and ahashpool.  You will get paid in BTC

Don't try to mine individual coins, let Nemosminer do all the work

Re: NEED HELP ! Asus Z270-P got problem with 5. GPU

on 29/12/2017, 17:09:58 UTC
Hi All;

I created my rig yesterday with Asus Z270-P and 5 Sapphire Rx 580 8gb Special Edition.

I try so many thing but, only 4 cards are visible, cant see the 5th card. I change the Pci slots, cards are working but i cant see any of them in Windows 10 Pro.

I see some ppl can use 7-8 cards with this board and cards. I enabled the 4g on board. Riser versions 9...

Please help me mates...

Don't remove the cards..
Download latest drivers and DDU
Reboot into safe mode (hold left shift while selecting reboot)
Run DDU, tell it to full uninstall
Disconnect Internet Cable and reboot into normal mode
Now you should see all 5 cards under device manager as Microsoft Standard Display
Run the latest driver install
If drivers ask to reboot let it reboot
Confirm all 5 display cards are there
Plug Internet cable back in.

My 6 GPU Geforce GTX 1070ti are averaging $47 using X17 and Blake2S on ahashpool24hr, more profit than your pool with less cards

millsys thank you for the feedback. I just started to use the platform so we haven't found a final nesting ground. So you edited the bat file and removed all the Algorithms from it?
For example, this is the OG bat files' algo setting: xevan,hsr,phi,tribus,c11,lbry,skein,timetravel,sib,bitcore,x17,Nist5,MyriadGroestl,Lyra2RE2,neoscrypt,blake2s,skunk
You have modified it to this?: x17,blake2s
and its not dishing out any faults, correct? Im going to try your suggested pool after I hit 24 hours @ MPH

I'm wondering if the software can accommodate pool switching also. Can this be done? If so, this will kill everything else in the market.

No, but I do remove timetravel/myriadgroestl.....
If you have any errors/faults, edit these .ps1 files with (textpad is good) as follows:
modify Ccmineralexis78.ps1
"sib" = " -i 19 -d $SelGPUCC" #Sib
"x17" = " -i 19 -d $SelGPUCC" #X17
"c11" = " -i 19 -d $SelGPUCC" #C11
modify CcminerKlaust.ps1
"neoscrypt" = " -i 15 -d $SelGPUCC" #NeoScrypt

After all benchmarks are ran, I prefer a 900 interval (edit in startahashpool24hr.bat), I see no need to be switching every 2 minutes, it takes 10-20 seconds to start hashing so I was losing too much in restarts.

I'm still having the issue where I can't really mine neoscrypt due to it going to 10% power usage, unless the mining window is on top. Would this fix this? It's only an issue on my Windows 7 rig, all .dlls installed, powershell 5, 388 drivers. 4x GTX 1070s, 64GB of DDR3 RAM. (Server board. Tongue)

Upgrade to Windows 10 - http://www.microsoft.com/accessibility/windows10upgrade

Hello,

I've been using this great algo with ashpool and it works great.

From your experience, which algo works best....normal or 24h profit calculator?

I started testing this 14 hours ago, two identical rigs, two wallets on ahashpool, so far 24hr has earned 20% more....  Still too early to be definitive, probably need a few weeks.

Keep us posted. I've always wondered if I should be running the 24hr bat.

After 24 hours of testing, 2 IDENTICAL 6 GPU 1070ti rigs, the winner so far is the ahashpool24hr.bat at 15% better revenue than ahashpool.bat

I know it's not supported but my 970 reported running speed is 72.42MH/s whereas the actual running speed is 7.2 MH/s. The benchmark says 43 MH/s. So my marks for these are off by a factor of 10. Is there any way I can manually change that?

Edit: Actually both the reported and bench speed are 43MH/s and the actual effective speed is 7MH/s.

Go into Stats folder and delete the associated ccminerxxxxxx_hashrate.txt that relates to the algo you are having trouble with, then run NemosMiner again

Dropping in to say that I've been using the miner for about 12 hours on 5 of my rigs and so far I'm loving the effortless algo switching for max profitability.

Here's what I'm digging:

This shot is off of a 7 GPU GeForece GTX 1070TI Duke rig, Running Win10 and mining to MPH I've overclocked it a tiny bit and its been stable running for over 14 hours now without any hiccups.

minerx117, do you have skype? Can you PM me when you get a minute please?

Does anybody have instructions for how to increase virtual memory to 64GB as the front page says?

I've not seen any need more than 'let system manage pagefile' on any of my 8 rigs, but if you want to increase go ahead,

WINDOWS KEY + BREAK
Advanced System Settings
Performance Settings
Advanced
Change
You can set as you wish, my 64GB SSDs don't have enough room for 64gb page files, but 12GB setting usually works great here.  I use 8GB of DDR4.

I've got 32GB of DDR3 installed.

Then just leave as is or set maybe 8GB swap, you are never going to use 32GB+ during mining
