Re: bitcoin still dipping. What should we do?
by

The real question is, do you really believe in Bitcoin? If not then you should withdraw now. It's all a matter of trusting the technology and to see it grow in the future. If you are not patient enough, then you won't see the real fruit of Bitcoin.

Re: Money Matters

Of course money matters especially in this world. You can't live properly without money, you can't have proper social life without money, heck you can't even drink a clean water without money. Those rich people are the only ones who can say that money doesn't matter because they have what they need already.

Re: Scammer Can affect the ETH price.

You mean by this is those ICO projects? Yeah, that's pretty much how they do it. Since ICO projects in cryptocurrency world is hard to distinguish if it's legit, investors tend to get scammed and those scammed ETH are being dump. That's pretty much how they affect price.

Don't worry, once Bull run starts again then Ethereum would be up without you even noticing it. Yes, newbies might be afraid to invest in Ethereum for now because it is down and full of bad things, but we who knows it will be able to hold. Don't let fear fog your judgement.

Your first mistake. You should have invested in Bitcoin instead. Second is do you even know what coin you have invested in? then the last one is why did you bought at all time high? That's not how investing works. You are at a lost buddy. Sell it and buy Bitcoin instead.

Have you experienced this kind of situation? I think that it's kind of sad that some Bounty Campaigns are doing it. I once joined a campaign that needs KYC and I had no problem with it. In fact, because of this KYC, I had a confident that it will succeed and it does.

Re: Why Cryptocurrency threatens governments
by

What kind of government exactly? Don't generalized government because every country has a different one. For example Japan. They are using cryptocurrency but it is not a threat but actually a way for their country to grow. There might be some who ban it but not because it's a threat, but because it causes some frauds and scams.

Re: HAS BITCOIN REALLY STOOD THE TEST OF TIME?

Yeah. I think I can confidently say that Bitcoin really has withstood the test of time. Bitcoin is almost a decade now and that new features is still being developed. I am very confident that Bitcoin will still grow no matter how hard it is in the future.

Re: Hold or Trade?
by

It depends on the coins that you will hold. If you Hold Bitcoin, then profit will surely come now matter what because Bitcoin is still developing. Also, trading is kind of dangerous when you don't know what you are doing so I'd say holding is more profitable depending on the coin.

It really depends on how you approach things. Those two are different kind of investment and will need different kind of approach and they are both risky in its own way. You should research first on what you are tackling. Don't let emotions control your judgement. If I were in your position, I would choose what am I comfortable with.

Re: If Newbie Offers Investment
by

There's no chance that I would invest. First, let's define Newbie - an inexperienced newcomer to a particular activity. an "inexperienced" newcomer", why would you put your money in there? That will not make any sense at all. I'll just ignore them.

by

It really depends on the course of the future. From $20 to $100k? That's kind of impossible to happen because not all coins are going to grow and that the shifting economy would make a huge factor in those numbers. To be honest, I doubt that your investment would reach at least $10k

That is kind of odd. What Fiat exactly is dead? What kind of information are you giving? Do you have any proof of what you are saying? I read that the Government doesn't really care much about Bitcoin because Bitcoin still relies on fiat.

Re: Is it bad for altcoin that BTC is dropping
by
miltonpogi
on 09/11/2018, 14:51:26 UTC
Of course it is bad because most altcoins (even ethereum) is still tied to the price of Bitcoin or what we say they are base on satoshis. If Bitcoin's price fell, then so do altcoin. This is how the market goes. Some say that some altcoins are staying away from Bitcoin and they are only going to base on USDT, I doubt it will work.

Re: How did you hear about Bitcoin (From Ponzi to Cryptocurrency)
by
miltonpogi
on 09/11/2018, 14:43:04 UTC
I first heard Bitcoin from a friend of ours back in 2014. During those times, we are those edgy kids who thinks we are all knowing who engage in deep web kind of things in Facebook. That's when I first heard Bitcoin and how it is used there but I didn't engage as I don't see any means of making money back then. Then 2017 came. One of my friend ask me to help him make any money around online so we search. That's when I heard Bitcoin again but this time, in a scam app in a mobile devise, it was super easy to earn there but of course, all our efforts wasted because it's not paying, but we didn't stop and that's when we got in this forum. Best discovery of my life.

Re: Will Bitcoin become the reserve currency of the world?
by

on 08/11/2018, 14:24:14 UTC
Reserve currency? I don't think so because Bitcoin is base on internet which cannot be controlled. I think Bitcoin would end up as a way of payment only or an alternative currency in a certain country. That's what I think about it. Also, new cryptocurrency might sprung that could beat Bitcoin one day.

Ugh, another problem to take because it taints the name of cryptocurrency in Twitter. This is probably one of the reason why twitter is suspending a lot of accounts lately. I'm kind of afraid since I use twitter for bounties which involves cryptocurrency too.

The only person who could tell whether a project is a scam or not is you. You should do your own research whether if it's worth it or not. I know that there's a lot of projects out there and there's a lot of scams, but you could tell them apart who is legit or not by reading their whitepaper and researching some backgrounds of the team.

No man. LN is still away from being use as a way of payment. It still need to improve to have a significant impact in the market. The price is stable right now because most people are focus on ETF right now. I don't think it's a good thing though. But At least we are not falling.

Re: Will usage of bitcoin reduce the value of native currencies?
by
miltonpogi
on 07/11/2018, 07:52:26 UTC
I don't think that it will happen because cryptocurrency will always relies on fiat. I've heard that the Government of US doesn't really care about Bitcoin because it doesn't affect Dollar in a negative way and they don't see any threats to it except for scams.
