Apologies if this has been mentioned already (assume it has), but what date has the dev stated they will attempt the hardfork/fix for node payments? 2 weeks or so from now?
I may pick up some spare drk during the lull, depending on what the price does. Just wondering how long I may have.
2 weaks-ish from now, no date announced yet.. may be sooner, just keep an eye out really and snatch up the cheap ones. I imagine you won't be alone.
what exactly is being fixed?
is it safe to buy dark right now?

Re: [ANN][NOTE]DNotes - Updated! - Mandatory Update by 6/1/2014
I agree. Too early to make a solid call, but looks very promissing. Quite unusual in the crypto currency space. I am interested to hear what other stake holders think.
Someone just bought through a .3 BTC sell wall. That's pretty substantial for DNotes where sell walls are almost non existent, and volume is fairly low compared to other cryptocurrencies. I think at this point we're either going to see continued stable growth, or a newcomer take the opportunity to pump&dump it for a new all time high, with the dnotes low end stabilizing well higher than the last pump (probably no lower than 250 with where things have been the last month).
Thanks - only at ~45k so lots of blocks to go yet then! Wont sit here waiting for it to sync up!
If I may, waiting for the completion of the "revive" team my suggestion is to solo mine and keep the current wallet active, so to get easily the coins and - at the same time - contribute to the network hashrate. Just as I do. The difficulty is rising day by day. Good luck!
Ok, I've taken up your suggestion - trying solo mining for the first time! After much googling and compiling I have got the wallet synced up and running as a daemon (running the 66 program under ~/66coin/src), and got my miner pointed at it and found a block - but not sure if ive got it set up right as the coins dont show up when i use the command ./66 listreceivedbyaddress. Am i doing something wrong or do immature coins not show up from that command? If not then how do i see unconfirmed coins? Just want to make sure I'm up and running properly! Thanks
edit: getbalance shows non-zero is this the immature coins balance?
solo mining is a very bumpy ride man.
i think if you wait a while they will mature and it will be fine.

switching to ltc is a bad idea.
you would be better of going for doggie.
ltc had hope that mtgox will support it, now there is no mtgox, so no hope for ltc

Re: Which new coin should Bittrex support? Week 1 - Round 1
Players should be careful at this time of the year and play with established books. The World Cup is the most popular time for hit and run books. After that it's the Super Bowl. I'm not saying that the new kids on the block are necessarily bad books. The odds say that some will be out of business shortly after the World Cup walking off with funds. This is not the time to test out new books.
so you are saying i should not trust xbet.io?
it sounds like they are the only place that can't run away with my money because they don't take deposits.
if they don't take deposits, how can they steal the money?

I heard about your website and as I understand your website is more secure than other bitcoin betting sites, or at least it is different.
how do you rate the websites? how do you get from a rating of B to C to A?
do those websites have to hold the funds in escrow to be top rated like here

No registration, identification or account is required. You do not have to open an account on XBet.IO to place a bet. Your money is kept wherever you decide. Moreover, since the funds are held in escrow by the network and not by a specific person or group, your funds can't be stolen or seized by anyone. We recommend using Counterwallet, which is free, open source and is fully compatible with XBet.IO
My advice would be to go with the above suggestions and not one of the many new sites that have popped up offering promotions just for this world cup. Trust is a big issue for them still and not worth the risk to your money imo...
that sound about right. they just all look the same to me. i don't know enough to tell the difference between one site or the other. how do they all work? i deposit coins, get a balance and bet with it or do i deposit straight to a specific pot?
In XBet.IO you don't have to trust anyone with your money!
they don't take deposits.
they never have your money!
if there is no deposit, how do the winners get the money?
