I already wasted 1 week of mining power.
Not sure if the coins I mined are still worth it.

Good project.
But I would say the team is small and the milestones are big.
This project has a long way to go if you are not targetting a milestone for a team formation that can develop those features in time.

Do you have any plans to woo big investors to accelerate your projects?
This would boost confidence to the community.

I was able to register for airdrop but I still didn't received my airdrop share.
I thought the only requirement is bitcointalk membership before November 2017.

Please contact Telegram

Thank you.
Confirmed receipt of the airdrop share.
Looking forward for the actual product to be operational.

Re: [GTX 1060 3GB] All new cards with hynix?
by
mineblue
on 17/09/2017, 08:22:23 UTC
and how about the hynix performed?

Ethash:
Samsung 18-19MH/s  / 23MH/s @ 4700MHz
Hynix 15MH/s  / 18 MH/s @ 4250MHz
And how about mining ZEC?

card with samsung for some reason does 280 ~ sol/s while hynix does arround 265 sol/s
Hynix GTX1060 can still achive 300+sol/s on zcash.
You have to increase the PowerLimit to 70+ to achieve it.
You will achieve more if you max up the PowerLimit.

I am also looking or a solution for my Palit GTX1060 card which has Hynix memory too.
Instead, I let it mine with zcash as it can reach 320 sol/s EWBF zcash miner.
I can only manage to get 19.x MHs if overclocked at +490 - +500.

I got x6 1060 6GB Palit recently. All with samsung memory.
x4 cards with 86.06.45.00.23 vbios version and
x2 cards with 86.06.39.00.12 vbios version.

86.06.39.00.12 shows 20 MH/s in stock, but
86.06.45.00.23 only 15 MH/s in stock.

Im going to flash all cards to 86.06.39.00.12

Looks like there is nothing wrong with bios version. Just find out that x4 my cards with hynix memory. And that is why it shows only 15 MH/s in stock. Damn hynix...

So you have tried flash 86.06.39.00.12 to your Hynix card and still return the same 15MHS result?

anyone managed to hit +1000 mem clock OC? That's the Afterburner limit for Nvidia cards.

Currently on +750 and 25MH/s on Claymore 10.0
Afterburner no limit OC for nvidia cards, here i use 1000+ and no problem, system stable.

Not all Nvidia cards.
Try OCing GTX1060 with Hynix memory and your miner will crash when you OC it at +500 to +600

Thanks, it's comforting to know you get those rates with the 3GB version.

carefull with 1060 3gb   most ot them have hynix mem

so that means ETH 15 stock  and 18,5 max Oc

I have learned this the hard way on 1060 3gb.  I went exploring and bought 5 different brand/type cards hoping to find some Samsung.  All are Hynix and all hash Eth at 18-19 or less in the case of the Zotac.  Is there a more profitable coin you guys have found for this type of card?

I have 3 of these hynix mem card that made my 8 GPU rig mine at different algorithm using 3 different miner.
I let my 3 hynix GTX1060 cards mine at zcash since it is more profitable than ethash algos (280-300 sol/s zcash vs 19MHs ethash).

Has anyone tried the 385.28 drivers? Wondering if it's worth a shot

I'm using the 385.28 drivers now. I'm thinking about rolling back to the 384.9x? drivers because I have a GPU lagging now. I believe that's what's causing it. Wasn't lagging before the driver update

Thanks. I guess I'll stay on 384.94. It's been fairly good so far.

I love the 1060's. I'm drawing 800w per 8 card rig. This week I'm going to try and drop it to 775w and see if I can plug two rigs into one outlet. If the total wattage is under 1550w I think it should be fine for one receptacle.

Somebody might not care since this is not much about 385.28 driver.
I tried installing 385.28 driver and the LED of my Palit GTX1060 LED were not turning ON after OS boot.
I thought the LEDs were broken.
But when I reverted the driver back, the LEDs are turning ON again.
This driver might still have some issues.

I am wondering if my 1000w gold rating PSU can handle it.
I am thinking of adding more now but I hesitated because of these 3 Hynix cards that are currently drawing 100w mining zcash.

I have 6 x Gigabyte GTX1060 ITX and my miner is constantly restarting itself even with the stock settings.

I am using the latest drivers, latest Windows 10 updates and latest Claymore miner.

I always get this message: A launch timed out and was terminated...

https://image.prntscr.com/image/LJth_5b3TISsuPM6lUzyTQ.png

Try first Genoil's miner on your card here:
https://github.com/Genoil/cpp-ethereum/tree/110/releases

And if it works, try to apply the optimized version from here:

I read that some brands like Zotac (and Palit maybe?) tend to use only Samsung memory and not hynix. Is this correct? I could get my hands on some Zotac AMP! 3GB, hesitating...

I have Palit SuperJetstream and it has Hynix memory.
Total waste of money and electricity.
Although I find it useful to mine at zcash for now since it achieve 320 sol/s.
But still it could have been useful for Ethash and other algorithms if only not for Hynix memory.
I can only make this card stable at 19MHs ETH.

I see.
I just got my new ASUS STRIX ROG GTX1060 6Gb with Samsung memory.
Still playing with OC but I managed to get 23.598 MHs ETH at 75w usage.
This card can reached 25 MHs but I was not able to get stable OC settings yet.
Will try tonight.

Just an update, I managed to make it up to 24.4MHs ETH at 60C Temp 77w power usage (nvidia-smi.exe) on this card.
My Micron memory ROG card only yield 24.01MHs ETH at the same 77w power usage but 55C Temp.

Now my Palit Hynix card is mining at zcash right now and I only managed to make it at 90W power usage, 66 Temp @ 300sol/s.
I would have mined it at ETH if it can only go further than 19 MHs.

GTX 1060 Palit 3 GB GPU0 in the picture giving me almost 260 sols with less than 80 watt consumption. Nowadays especially here in Italy with the electricity price of 0.16 Euro kwatt power efficiency is the thing miners should worry most about. I don't worry anymore. Soon I will build another Zcash miner with 5 x GTX 1060 and only 500 watt total consumption together with the motherboard. GPU1 if you are wondering is GTX 1050 ti and is using only 60-62 watt consumption.

http://i.imgur.com/ZUXeiSv.png

What zcash miner are you using that displayed this watt consumption?
My Palit GTX 1060 Super Jetstream managed to reached 320 sol/s but it consumes 100w.
My setting is Mem: +450 GPU: +110

I managed to make my ASUS R.O.G. STRIX-GTX1060-O6G-GAMING 6GB (Micron Memory) stable at 24.x MH/s with the following settings.
Power Limit: 116
Core Clock: +110
Memory: +65
Base Boost is 2088MHz/4551 MHz.

I tried lowering the power limit to save power but it will drop the hashrate to 22 below.

Im currently using Genoil ethereum miner (no DevFee).

Did you test with OC memory clock abit more? Memory clock speed is good and essential for ETH, you just increase +65, I think you can increase more further.

It seems I forgot to add 0 in Memory: +650.
I do remember I was able to make it worked at +700 but only in Claymore and will crash after 30 mins.
