Wow the diff is still very low. I'm actually surprised given the fact that so many coins are currently being released and every single one gets huge hash rates to start out.

It doesn't have a diff. It doesn't work like that. Right now I am earning almost nothing and when I started I added new things each day and was getting 30 or so coins a day. I have about 250 coins but no one seems to be using my files. I guess I need to share more and use an external HDD maybe. I could leave it plugged in at night doing its thing. Though 1tb is what will make a good amount. My biggest drawback right now is my internets upload speed by it's ok since I do not get that many people using my files.

Lets test the new file transfer speeds.
The Mediacoin team has lately done a lot of work to optimize the network protocol. Now the Mediacoin client uses the UDP transport layer protocol, which allows to exchange most of the traffic directly between peers. The new protocol is based on the same technology as the torrent clients.
If the ver.1.3 update didnt initiate an automatic feature updates, it is recommended to install updates manually by downloading the latest version from the official website:https://mediacoin.pro Otherwise, the old version clients may face problems with the accrual of rewards for seeding files.
