Re: How to send an offline transaction on Windows?

When you go to the Send tab you will see a button 'Create unsigned transaction' at the bottom of all the fields. (Note: you will only see this if this is a watch only setup i.e.  a Electrum setup with no seed).

When you select that it will create the transaction which is then saved to a USB drive which you then use on your offline PC/Electrum. Your offline installation is then used to sign that transaction.

So in short:

a) Create the transaction on your watch only installation,
b) Save the unsigned transaction and copy it (via USB drive) to offline installation where its signed,
c) Save signed transaction back to USB drive and move it to your watch only installation,
d) Broadcast it via your watch only installation to the network.

So I need a watch-only, not a regular installation of that. Correct?

How to send an offline transaction on Windows?

When I use the method on wikipedia I get an error. They have only FAQ for linux on their website, it doesn't seem to work for Windows.

Willing to pay to someone who provides first valid answer.

Looking to sell individually?

Ill rather sell by 5 or 10. Even better if all 40. But if you give me a good offer I may consider it.

[WTS] x40 Gridseed Miners
by
miner765
on 30/08/2014, 03:19:30 UTC
Selling 40 gridseed miners. Been working for about 4 month with no problems at all. The fan is removed but I have all the fans (so you can attach them bank). Reason for selling - I'm moving to another country, it will be a hassle to transport all this.

They mine at around 10-11.25 GH SHA or 380-400KH/s scrypt. All accessories included (PSU's, USB cables, USB Hubs, 2x Raspberry PI, a few hashra controllers e.t.c.)

Escrow - no problem. Offer price in PM.

Re: [GUIDE] GridSeed Miner Support/Tuning - FIFO BUFFERS -OFF-
by
miner765

G'day fellow miners!

I've been running my miners wide open with FIFO Buffers turned OFF in Windows 7 with great success!
No comm port failures. No unexpected crashes anymore.
My miners have been running stably without FIFO buffers running.

It occurred to me, based on what I've learned about comm port buffers, 16550 UART etc., that our miners do not need their data checked or routed around or delayed or moved or channeled etc. They certainly don't need any delay of any kind in their data streams between the pool and them.

So, after using various FIFO settings earlier which did increase time between failures where the miner just stops producing completed work (!yay!), looks like trying NO FIFO Buffers at all is the trick we are all looking for to keep these buggers from going to sleep on us while we are not monitoring them.

The mod that I performed on all of my miners is working great. They are all stably overclocked at 1200MHz and hashing nicely with great results pool side - where it counts! $$$$

So if your miners are still crashing, give this a try and see if it helps.
I don't know for sure, but I think cgminer and bfgminer may use FIFO's too. If they are, perhaps that is what is causing the same problem with them. Check with your local cg-bfg tech guru.

I hope this works for you as well as it is for me.

If any of you want your GS5 miners modified, please PM me and I'll be happy to help you get it done!
My work is 100% guaranteed against failure and if I do accidentally brick your pod, I will replace it at my own expense. Turn around is generally less than 48 hours after I receive your shipment.

You WILL see improved hash rates, decreased time to ROI / higher per-miner profits per hour!
I'm located in the Washington DC Metropolitan area.
An example of my work can be seen here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=482352.msg6058919#msg6058919

Thank you and good luck with your mods!

My current peak performance figures pool side with just 6 miners...

When will you answer my PM? Interested.

So 7950 would be the best single card to use? Or R9 270/x? Again, under 200W.
