I think i got the first defective unit

My d3 runs for about an hour, when this error come up:

Sep 20 21:03:33 (none) local0.err cgminer[374]: read_temp_func: can't read all sensor's temperature, close PIC and need reboot!!!


I reconnected all cables. But this changed nothing. Error comes up and blocks the machine. Does anybody have a solution for that?

this happened to me once, I just had to restart the D3 and it has not happened again. It's been hours running without a problem

Worked for me too, but after one hour same error...

Anybody know what close pic mean?

1300 Watt Power supply without breakout board

Hello Guys,

I have a 1300 Watt Power supply, from a workstation, which is a little bit different to what i use normally ( evga 1300 watt user).

Just 1 question. Will it work for one avalon 741?

I just kill switched the current connection to the mainboard via a cable.

over the power cables i have power and the fans are running.

But it is safe to run this? The next step would be soldering the connection.

Unfortunely i cant test it now.
But maybe someone has expierience with the delta dps-1300FB A

Waiting now for 8 Weeks to Canaan ships my paid products...

Support is not responding since 3 weeks.

Yeah I'm not sure now, I just heard positiv feedback about them in the forum, but I never expected a mess like this with a simple order.

I thought you have the right to know this.

I ordered 2 miners and 1 controller on July 17, 2017, (at this time stock was avaiable), Paid via bank the order on the next day.
After 2 days I got a confirmation by Jasmine via a support ticket which I started.
So long so good.
I was told to wait till the money is on their bank balance.
Week after Week more and more excuses.
The money is since this time on their bank account, but they keep me waiting for sending me my paid products.
Support Ticket is since 2 weeks not answered.

I thought this company is legit and trustfull, I just wanted to do a test order on them with 2 miners, to replace my existing s7. Unfortunely they are not interested into that.
Actually there are 100 S7 miners which I want to replace.

Origin order was #62979
unresponded support ticket since two weeks #63296

I just dont know what to do, they have my money. I can't get it in my bank account back...

Any advises? Twitter and FB also not responding..

I have not received my packages  but I have tracking for them.

I have purchased from them  multiple times  and they always send the gear.

I do have suggestions  to anyone with issues post on twitter and facebook.

Always do all communications through the ticket system. As has been posted here many times email with Canaan is more of a status update method than it is direct communication.

Do NOT go bandying the word 'scam' lightly with any vendor. Canaan has delivered far too much equipment to folks here with very few order/delivery problems for that to apply in any possible way. As I posted last Friday my latest miner came on schedule and is currently running like a champ.

Yes at times Canaan screws up communications with some folks but to date they have always fixed the order issues. All I can say is that when replying through the ticket system, attach copies of the bank transfer records. Your bank will be able to provide a pdf copy of it to you.

As for Canaan having stock, best way to get an idea is to be registered on Kano's pool and look to see what Canaan has running there. When stock is being produced you'll see several PH running there from them for about a week. While not officially confirmed I'd expect that is miner burn-in testing and yes, that is a GOOD thing to see them doing.

In fact I have a support ticket open since 2 weeks, but there is no real conversation trough Canaan.
They sent me a screen of their incoming funds(mine is also there) but they are letting me on hold.
No communication/response trough ticket system, is for me not a good sign for customer service.
Never had payment problems with other vendors (bitmain, gekko,..) but three weeks are to long for my taste.

Ordered two avalon and one pi from them on 17.07.2017. Paid trouh bank transfer.
Confirmation sent.
Still waiting for canaan .io to confirm my payment. Escalated the case trough my bank.
According to my bank canaan received the payment on 20.07.
Support is not responding on the tickets.
I think this is a big scam....

Anybody can help me with this guys?
