Google "Yiimp pool setup" - there are step by step instructions and YouTube videos on how to install a pool and even scripts that will do it all for you.  The same Googling needed to setup coins.

Once you've done it once then you can pretty much rinse/repeat for other coins/algos.

That being said feel free to PM this account if you have any questions - FREE advice on server selection, OS, root/user access, installing Yiimp, stratum setup (including a distributed stratum backend), compiling daemons from source, creating new coins in Yiimp etc. etc. All in keeping with the free open source code idea

So, back to the original question - does anyone?

People are putting money into this buying coins and the code is closed source. Anything could be in it - a line to say that all coins will be sent to another wallet on the 1st January for example.

It's against every principle of crypto for the source code to not be open source once the project is live and trading (whether OTC or on an exchange).

Never suggested that it would always be closed source - the whitepaper says it will be released at block 2016 but until that happens then it is what it is.

Just as anonymous as the BTR devs...

On the other hand if they are anonymous then we have just another unquestioning, biased holder trying to minimise criticism to prop up the price of their airdropped coins...

Not at all - I was mining BTC when CPU's would still do the job and fully believe in crypto. Yes I've lost some money on altcoins this year not expecting the bear market to be as long or deep as it has turned out to be but overall am in profit.

The premise of your coin is to provide a cheap asset with a super high volume to lower the barrier to entry. You think that by allowing anyone to be able to purchase these coins that it will 'redistribute wealth' and 'empower' poorer people. Beyond that you have no use case or unique features.

The idea is completely unnecessary when people can own fractions of coins and there are plenty of cheap altcoins already in existence. The fact that someone can own a whole coin doesn't create any 'empowerment' it just shifts the decimal point in their wallet.

Just out of interest does anyone actually still buy this type of shit/scam coin?

I mean the premise of this is utterly ridiculous but we see this type of generic coin announced over and over again. I have to assume that 'someone' is supporting the effort of the OP but can't believe that anyone in crypto is still so naive after all of the past scams.

As a perfect example of how not to launch a new coin this is it...

After 1 year in development the devs have produced:

• Closed source code to 'make sure there are no bugs' despite the development time and testnet.
• No exchange.
• Barely functioning pool.
• Official pool has 0.6% of the net hash despite the closed source code - who is mining 99.4% of the blocks?
• x13 algo however people are also apparently able to mine it using timetravel algo.

The coin's only differentiator from any other sh!t/scam coin out there is that it will be 'rare'... I have some 'rare' multicolored dog poop if anyone wants to buy that instead?

The devs are mining the backside out of this coin prior to exchange listing - as much as I would like to think this isn't yet another scam coin it has massive red flags...

Rating: 100% avoid, let the dev team play with their own coins, do not give them any of your money or hashrate.

Edit: Unsurprisingly there is now a trading channel on Discord where you can buy these mined coins...
