There is already a bitcoin version in equihash. Its called BitcoinZ dunno how people missed this during the hype.
Yeah its not a direct copy of the real bitcoin chain, but someone has already tried this with equihash.

I am staying clear of it, purely down to the very poor launch, the poor information, the constant chopping and changing of premines, ICO, and the like.
Its been a PR disaster, I have lost faith purely based on those facts alone. How is anyone with any investment fund supposed to take this seriously. You have to remain professional and frankly this is a disaster.

How is anyone supposed to have any sort of faith this is being launched legitimately with a clean as a whistle dev team.

That is my 2 cents worth.

Is there anyway to set your own fixed strantum diff level on Lyra2z. I am getting a solid 18.5 Mhz on my miner yet on your site it is constantly varying between 12 (most of time around 12) Mhz and spikes to 18 Mhz and that is due to the diff level constantly being adjusted to high.

Many Thanks, because this is the only pool that does this Algo, id prefer to fix it here than move elsewhere.

And thank you for answering my maxcoin issue. I turned auto exchange off as its faster I transfer coins manually to an exchange and perform the action. Its still a handy feature to have there just in case however.

I second notion for Zen, in fact it would be nice to have all equihash coins added at some point.

Good Afternoon pool hub,

I just wanted to know why maxcoin is sitting in waiting to be exchanged for some time on my account. It does not seem to be sending to the exchange. If this coin is an issue are you going to disable it to stop my mininers mining any more of them?

Many thanks

It's working fine; takes about 12 hours for the pool to get enough Maxcoin.

Mine has been sitting there for 3 days

I remember:

as the demand for zero is now huge
and a lot of users are moving from Zcash to Zero
but unfortunately we don't have a stable Nvidia Miner

I can tell you today
that a stable Nvidia Miner will probably be released next week

Nevertheless, I have contacted some developers who may also recognize the potential of Zero and strengthen it with their miners.

I did not find optiminer all that bad, if you run it correctly it is not ideal but it does work. I just need help in finding the K and N parametors on Znomp.

my friend, I don't even profit from anything.

I've been working on this project every day for free for 2 months.
at least 10 hours a day
but if you write here this and it doesn't work and they offer you help, it's clear that if a programmer helps you to be rewarded

We really don't need to discuss any further.
If I had an attitude like you, I'd have to finish my job right now.

I hope no one here will help you.

 Grin

you are not getting what I am saying, I dont want a programmer to fix it for me I am looking to be *POINTED* in the direction of where I can fix it myself I am also not disputing the amount of time you are apparently working on it. I can assure you are not doing that out of kindness of your heart either and have probably been given or are earning a nice wedge for your trouble. If no one will help me getting it working thats fine I wont lose any sleep over it because there is hardly a shortage of coins wanting hash rate. And it has to be said the majority of them are more than willing to help people overcome barriers to using it. Equihash is my favorite algo it always will be, and I want a full set of coins working on my Z-Nomp to support that fact. and before you say it, its only my own rigs that use it. It is not open to the public to make money on. Perhaps in the future I might open it up with no fees attached just to give something back.

I already heard you correctly.
you're looking for someone to tell you how to get z-nomp to work.
so that you can operate solo mining alone
best all this for free

without involving the Community
and now you're trying to sell me your believable opinion
I don't want to talk to you anymore.

 Roll Eyes

what do you mean without involving the community, if I can get mine to work then I will pass that information on. How does offering to charge me to fix it involving the community exactly? I am not going to put a pool online to the public until I know it works, because having other peoples coins in your wallet is a big resposability I dont want at the current time. I don't understand why you are making this so difficult
Hey Minty, there is nothing difficult. If you want mine Zero than just download the only working Optiminer and you are just fine. Sorry but you can use only 8gb and 4gb cards. If you want something simpler than continue mining Zcash and do not beg here for help setting up your Znomp that is not going to work as Zero is using modified params for better results. Zero will not work with cards below 4gb, that is one thing each has to understand. And by the way, if you would have read the first page of Zero thread, you will find all required info.

Hello there, I understood the K and N values have been changed, and I own 11GB cards. I like a challange which is why I want to get this to work Smiley I guess I only wanted to know where in the Znomp code these parametors are set. I have been using the OPT miner as I realise EBWF wont work. I know its a simple fix on the stratum probably.
Zero will not work with other miner than only with Optiminer which is modified and works without problems. Other miners are not working at the moment. We are lucky that we are not the same equihash params as Zcash because Zero is much better.

Friend I understand the other miners don't work, I have been using Optiminer that is not my issue Smiley my issue is Znomp stratum does not support the new parametors and I am trying to fix it so it does.

I know its a simple fix on the stratum probably.

my friend, I don't even profit from anything.

 Roll Eyes

well excuse me for wanting to solo mine your coin ffs! you know what forget it I send my 200 rig hash rate somewhere else! and by way keeping a node open 24/7 would have benefited you instead of trying to monopolise and charge me for coding something to solo mine your coin.

apart from that
That's not my coin.

it belongs to the community
you are free in your decision

 Grin

All you had to do was point me in the direction of where I could fix my Z-Nomp instead of trying to profit from it when you need miners for this to work. IN fact your arrogance is slightly insulting.

sadly I could not get this working with Z-Nomp

which is a shame really, I am using the optiminer

dont worry
I can assure you it works,
there are also others who use z-nomp

you have a pm
 Wink

No thank you! I am not paying someone to code a pool so I can solo mine. I have my Z-Nomp running fine on all the other equihash algo if you want to offer advice on how to fix it great then I will mine it, otherwise I will stick to coins I can actually solo mine.

I was getting 70 SOLS with 6x 1080ti and the net hash is 7K+ SOLS , its really really hard to mine this coin

nice rig !
yes, but you're gonna get a lot of coins with it.

 Grin

I got between 20 -24 coins per day with 2 gtx 1080ti.

is there a mining calculator for Zero to see how much I could mine per day?

I want to mine, but I need to know if it will be profitable for me or not.

Thanks! Wink

I could not find one, as its not the same as equihash so the normal calculator wont work. Whats your hashrate on this algo

got nothing so far, as the client does not support getwork , I tried to interface with Z-nomp only to realise its not the same equihash so it doesnt work.

I am not sure how to solo mine with this now? not sure how you come to the conclusion I will get that many coins because it does not look like it at the moment

Re: [ANN][POOL] Mining Pool Hub - Multipool. Multialgo, Auto Exchange to any coin.

I am trying to setup the HUB feature of this pool so my rig will auto point to the best coin to mine, however its a minefiled I can not make any sense of the instructions on how to set this up.

I made the Nvidia batch file which loops until it finds a coin, but a lot of the algo are missing from it (probably needs updating) however I dont think this is working correctly. as its not mining the correct coins on the loop.

Could someone please point me in the direction of clear instructions I can follow to get this feature working correctly.

Have you tried any of the auto-switching programmes that are available to download from the "Quick start guide" page. I found that aaronsace's MultiPoolMiner is easy to setup but it does take a long time (unless it's faster now) to do the initial benchmarking.

No I did not, I thought there would be an easier solution than just using another programme to change the algo. I probably just stick to changing it manually just easier and less headache

Like you said, it's less of a headache to do it manually. I did used Multipoolminer & tried to get some other auto-switcher to work (forget which one) but I don't think it's worth it.
One reason I think these auto-switcher may fall down on is that they may detect a "wrong" best coin and end up mining it before you notice.
Look at the screenshots below from Mining Pool Hub, taken only a few minutes apart, why is Feathercoin suddenly the best coin to mine, then it's one of the worst to mine ?

I been noticing that myself, and its taking nearly a whole day when using the auto convert coins option, they take several hours to be sent to the exhange then they sit there for ages , and take ages to credit back.  I not had any problems with rejects tho but I dont touch ethereum as I have nividia cards and its futile
