Lol at Koontas and StonerStanley... Keep your beef in the appropriate threads or in PMs!
Also, I really wish I could've gotten my money out into DGB before this boom happened... I had 400 dollars set aside for it Waiting for a direct and easy DGB and USD exchange... If only there was one in the works by the official DGB team.... *Wink, Wink*
But seriously, this is great and I can't wait for even better news to come It's good that I at least have some DGB built up already.
That's a pretty harsh thing to say just because they feel Digibyte isn't worth investing in at the moment... A much better response is to thank them for their response and keep fighting the digibyte fight- Everything else will fall into place, including shapeshift.io! So thank's for your response shapeshift.io, and watch our community, value, and trade volume grow together. I'll be around the site when you add Digibyte
I just wanted to agree with the idea that the OP post in this thread really needs to be cleaned and spruced up. Also, it might be nice if we got a new thread title ( We didn't have a "Happy Birthday DGB!" Thread title? What a missed opportunity! )
Also, maybe we could get a kind of behind the scenes look at what happens in your offices, or just what you all do in general. That would make great, if difficult to produce well, material for the youtube channel.
I like using this forum.. Brings attention to coin
Don't spread traffic.
Responding about a page ahead, but whatever. There actually was a DigibyteTalk forum. I believe it's defunct now because using this thread was much easier and generated more traffic. Also, don't forget about the Digibyte Reddit, if you consider that a forum.
It's always nice to bump the thread with arguments, but I'm inclined to agree that it should take place over PM
vtorrent, the first picture in the thread makes it look like you have a website, but I don't see it mentioned anywhere here. What's going on with that?
P.S. If Peter Sunde is involved or even mentioned the coin in a positive light, perhaps that should be added to the ANN? He is a pretty big guy in the P2P scene!
Getting people to come from other abandoned coins to DGB is definitely a good idea... Perhaps we could point them towards some kind of DGB faucet? We'd have to do it in a non spammy way, though. The best way is to probably keep this thread on the first page as much as possible with our discussions. Healthy discussion makes a healthy coin!

This is some nice timing, what with an unnamed p2p website going down... Interesting concept! If at all possible, I'd like for the wallet builds to be uploaded to different sites, though... (Mega or Mediafire, or both?) Already mining!
I thought BitcoinTate had been around in the community for a while. A user a while back in the thread mentioned something about the founder of DigiByte being "That Jared".
Regardless if Bitcointate is that Jared or not, I was kind of wondering why the ANN thread wasn't actually made by Bitcointate. He popped up on the thread at some point and mentioned his involvement, but I don't think that the opening post actually mentioned him or anything. I guess that having a seperate account for the ANN thread makes a lot of sense and feels very professional though, so I'm glad it turned out that way.
To move the topic back to something that doesn't make me sound like a rambling idiot, I've always been impressed by the DGB team to get to mobile. They had an android wallet not too long after launch. If one of the iOS wallet users could tell us about their experience, that would be great. If you can use it at the moment, I'm not sure if it's in testing or not.
Thinking about it, I don't think that DigiByte has ever touted the fact that the Jared involved with creating this coin is "The Jared", BitcoinTate. If I'm not mistaken, Jared has a very good reputation within the bitcoin community.
They've probably invested in the longterm value of DGB. I would be very interested in seeing how many DGB these investors own. If you're one of the investors and reading this, could you give us a rundown of why you invested in DGB? Longshot but maybe they're reading this thread
Using paypal for buying cryptos has always been difficult. I'd suggest you buy bitcoins somehow, since they are much easier to get, and then buy DGB with your bitcoin. I'm pretty sure there are a lot of bitcoin exchanges that will accept many different kinds of payment (Probably not paypal, though...)
Try taking a look at the Currency Exchange subforum here on bitcointalk. You may even find a thread with someone who is willing to sell bitcoin for paypal! Make sure you read the thread and check the persons reputation before you purchase anything.
Hope to see you here smiling when the Digirush happens ( On the forums that is... Please don't barge into my house )
Loving the fact that I'm coming home after 14 hour shifts and the price hasn't budged more than 18 satoshi... Get another cheeky investment in some more DGB on my next day off!
Oh how I can't wait for the price in 10 years when I'm 32 years old and the price will be at (if all goes well) 10 cent.... Retire at 32... can't complain about that.
To mars Digibyte! No time for the moon!
If things follow the original plan, DigiByte's end stable value should be around what a USD is worth now! That was before the massive influx of DGB, though...
Agreed. One the office in Santa Monica opens there will be a ton more awareness. The Santa Monica tech scene has blown up over the past 5 years giving it the nickname "silicone beach" second only to silicon valley in CA. Lots of startups and lots of young tech professionals. Fertile ground to plant the DigiByte/DigiPay seeds.
The offices are a very big step, and the locations are very important as well, like you mentioned! Hopefully businesses in the areas where they open the offices will be convinced to accept DGB in some way.
