I just tested the latest wallet 3.x.x really nice interface, but why those wallets are taking so much processor use? all cloak wallets use between 20-30% of my CPU after all chain is downloaded?
Facing the same problem since last year (Version 2.x.x). Have already asked for a better version. No response since then. So I canceled staking.
This problem has long been known about several versions, but apparently they are unable to fix it.
When I started looking into NEM I said to myself, I want to get supernode before 30. Exactly 4 months later I am at 1/100 of this goal. I learned a ton in this time, I met many interesting and positive people, I did a lot. I emerged myself in blockchain life, I become passionate about blockchain, earlier I was just on point with news. What can I say, NEM changed my life, I am not sure if I will own a supernode in future, but it become less important for sure. Thanks NEM
Thank you for all your hard work. Nem official is twitting your videos, people know you are one of two official/unofficial Nem news channel. Just a matter of time Lon Wong will come knocking on your door
How much coins are needed to run a super node? Is it still profitable to run one? Whats the returns like from a supernode on a daily basis?
3,000,000 NEM. So quite a lot. Returns are based on how many supernodes are running at any particular time. I believe it is around 300NEM a day at the moment but i could be wrong. Its think its 140,000 NEM a day / number of SuperNodes, There are some Super Node operators here that can give you a more precise answer if you are thinking about investing
The reward is about 290 Xem/day. If you have the needed amount it is profitable, but not if you have to buy a lot.

I think that these problems are solved with the new client version. I read in the slackchannel, that the tests go very well.Maybe its better if you wait few days of the new one.
Why not just accept the obvious fact: This coin is dead and these pitiful rescue attempts without dev or code are senseless.
I disagree, pitiful rescue attempts can be the foundations on which something new can be built. People like a challenge, if someone could revive the blockchain it would attract support, and maybe a new dev, or maybe even the original dev gets a second wind. No harm in trying.
Excuse me sir. I am sure you are an expert. You are now 10 days registered here and you believe you know how things here are working. Show me only one successful attempt to revive a coin.
