I believe the best option for XMR on a hash/watt basis is still the NVidia GTX 750 ti - for some reason they hit a real sweet spot.
There are some CPUs that can argue the point, though, but for some reason I don't think they've been beat (though they HAVE been challenged) on a hash/watt basis by newer GPUs.
250 hash (common with a very mild overclock) on something like 45-50 watts actual usage (don't go by TDP, go by at-the-wall measurements)....

how can get 830 on rx 470?
i have MSI XGAMEING 470 3 of them bad and 7 very good it like any other GPU 470 but more cooler.
i try msi asus nitro+ and ref but i find new company name it colorfire it chines company but it better than any other gpu i see it moreeeeeeee cooler when my xfx 480 4gb at 71c colorfire at 60c and i buy it about 155$

if he's going with the stock settings this is normal...unless you end up modding the bios
no more modding bios becuse you can't use older driver with new card
so don't wait RX 5xx(PSU benchmark)write your test with PSU and how much it still alive and what PSU

The bottleneck of CryptoNight PoW algo is that it requires loading small data blocks from random memory addresses, a lot of times. Because addresses are random, memory cache is useless. You see low temps because GPU core does not work all the time, most time it waits data from GPU memory due its latency. And it cannot be optimized because the algo was designed to use memory latency to be asic-resistant. Fury X has 4096 bit memory bandwidth, but it is useless for this algo because big bandwidth is not related to memory latency.

Is there a version of your miner that will work with my HD 6990 cards (essentially 2 6950 or 6970 GPUs on one card)? And if so, what must I do to obtain it, and set it up for my cards?
The AMD driver site said the newest Catalyst my cards could run is 15.9 (not 15.12). When I ran them a couple years ago, they were mining with Catalyst 14.6 (on a mining OS called PIMP-1.5.4-amd-14.6-r2). I am disabled, and have a limited income, and therefore must run what I have. Thank you.

I have a 6990. Use drivers 15.7
And mine ETH with it with his miner software not ZEC. ZEC will run at 2Sol/s per core so 4Sol/s.
With ETH you will get 13MH/s each so 26MH/s total. Almost the speed of RX480 & 390 just uses alot of power.
You can also undervolt them to like 1.0V to save on heat and power.
i know the 6690 have to gpu 6970 with 2gb vram and 6970 with 2gb vram that meaning can mining ETH with 2gb vram or on vga like 6950 and 6970?
