I'm on Windows 10.  What AMD driver are you all using to get TR to work on ETH Hash?  I've tried several different versions, including the 2020 drivers and the miner reports a dead GPU within minutes.  This is using their guide on my mix of Vega 56's and 64's.

Any performance plans for X16RT?
Well, as you can see, I'm working on x16 family, read changelogs Smiley There still some issue with stability of maximum hashrate, but I'm working on that, looks like need to re-tune auto-parameters after all that optimizations.

Awesome!  Love to see AMD competitive with some of the algos again.  Im running 550s and Vegas.

I have a Win 10 - Vega 56 rig

One Hynix card causes a dead GPU when trying 19.4.2, latest TR and have tried both of the suggested Hynix setttings.  Anyone have one that is working for them?   I've tried:

WinAMDTweak.exe --gpu 03 --RAS 24 --RCDRD 19 --RCDWR 4 --RC 35 --RP 13 --RRDS 4 --RRDL 5 --RFC 148 --REF 15600

and

WinAMDTweak.exe --gpu 03 --RAS 22 --RCDRD 17 --RCDWR 4 --RC 35 --RP 13 --RRDS 4 --RRDL 4 --RFC 148 --REF 15600

Both of these cause a dead gpu/restart
try this-

--rcdrd 19 --rcdwr 4 --rc 35 --rp 14 --rrds 4 --rrdl 5 --rfc 148 --REF 15600
or
--rp 14 --rc 42 --rfc 156 --rrd 3 --rcdrd 18 --rcdwr 3

not best but work

iff any have good setup for vega56/stockbios/hynix pls send ..

Thanks that did help out.

Great tool. I have been playing a bit mainly with list timings in previous post and have found something that works for each type of card I have, V56 V56 flashed to V64 and V64.

Thank you soo much for releasing this tool.
Do you also have an XMR address, would be an idea to post up and maybe we can all throw some hashpower your way aswell.
you should be greatly rewarded for your work.

of topic:
I am also using a hynix memory strap you once posted on my rx550's and it is amazing

What are you using for the 550s?

anyone have vega 56 with samsung memory timings yet?  If I use Hynix for it kills the rig.  I did not flash it to a 64....

Ok - what am I doing wrong?

WinAmdTweak.exe -i 0 --current

gives the settings for all GPU's instead of just the first one.

I also tried:
WinAMDTweak.exe -i 0 --rcdrd 19 --rcdwr 4 --rc 35 --rp 13 --rrds 4 --rrdl 5 --rfc 148 --REF 15600

and instead of applying it to the first one it did it to all GPU's.  I dont think the -i flag works in this usage.

facepalm

--i 0
DOUBLE!!!

Ha good eyes.  I'll try it

ok I was able to get around this....

I created a batch file with the commands that I wanted.  The batch file has this:

WinAMDTweak.exe -i 0 --current > i0.current.txt

Then I ran the CMD prompt as admin (instead of running the batch file as admin) and it generated the file for me.

I'd like to get the starting/current values before applying any changes so seeing the output of --current is important.  I've tried a few of the settings posted in this thread and the rig dumps shortly thereafter so I wanted to take a more methodical approach.

On my win 10/AMD 19.4.2/Team Read on Vega 56 I am getting 2.048 kh/s.... so I am unsure how much farther I can push it using this tool.

I use th --current command to find current values. It loads all values and then closes. How to get it to stay open. I add pause but still no good.

Just start a command prompt and run it within? Or run it but add >file.txt after and it will output to a file.

Thanks. But that still does the same and when I add file the file.is created but empty

Are you running the cmd as administrator?

I also tried that.  Doesnt make a difference.  You can see the command opening a new window and values being printed to it but quickly closing....

Same issue here.  I tried directing the output to a file and the file is empty.  It appears that the WinAmdTweak.exe will open a NEW window instead of printing to the same current one.  The new window opens, prints the results, and then quickly closes.

This isnt true anymore.

If I remember correctly, one cannot run more than 8 AMD cards in one rig... At least not in Windows. Look up the reviews of the 18 slot mining mobos and they'll mention just that thing.

Iirc bitsbetrippin made a video as well, look it up.

No problem.  I've pulled my farm off wildrig an onto something else for the time being.  I'll keep an eye out for an update to the other algos your miner support.
