Re: Do we still believe in Bitcoin?
by

I can't speak for everyone here if we can still believe in crypto but I would say the price has nothing changed in a bad way for the technologie, it's even better now.  Smiley

Yes I truly believe in cryptocurrency. We all know that the basic aim of everyone for participating in any investment market is to earn profits and there is nothing wrong in that. But a person should have some realistic goals. You can invest in something blindly and then expect your money to be doubled in a week. You should research and study properly and take every decision wisely.
Ofcourse! It's always important to research and don't invest blindly in every shitcoin. Lots of shitcoins will become very low value or near 0$ value and owning them can result in a complete loss. Realistic goals are always to support!

The funny thing is when you realize it when bitcoin used to be a shitcoin when it was still starting Cheesy
But yeah, as long as the marketing of the coin doesnt stops, the coin will live on it's own phase.

Bitcoin is the first ever crypto so it's like the anchor of all the coins in the cyber world. I doubt it'll lose its spot as the king. Npt unless a super rich dude create his own coin and spent billions to market his coin. Because i really think no matter how awesome your coin is, if you can't market it, itll die eventually.

As much as i want cryptocurrency to be used as a form of payment for my daily life, thinking about how volatile and unpredictable crypto is, I'd rather hold them than use them to buy anything. I mean for sure y'all heard about the guy who bought a pizza for 1k bitcoins. Imagine if he did not use it to buy that pizza and just hold on it..
But hey, this still a great news cuz that means it's popularity will increase. A good start it is.

I dont really think people are no longer buying and just selling their coins. I am pretty sure a lot of people are currently buying and keeping them at the bottom of their pillows, waiting for the perfect moment to sell them. Or is it just me?

Re: HOW DO WE INCREASE THE VALUE OF CRYPTOCURRENCIES?
by

on 20/11/2018, 09:30:06 UTC
Take a few million dollars and pump the coin to any planet you like.
This is literally the answer to the question. If you wish to increase the price, you gotta get people to invest in it. If you cant get people to invest in it because it's a shitcoin, the only way to pump it is by using your own bank and pump it by buying a huge chunk of the total coins. Cheesy

The title is catchy and sure does catch many attention. But content doesn't match. Anyways.. If this is about people thinking or considering bitcoin as a scam, i guess you can't blame the because a lot of bitcoin wanna bes are popping in the social medias and most of them are scams. Not to mention, that most government doesn't encourage its people to invest in it. And oh, lets also add to it that facebook banned crypto ads due to overflowing scam reports.

You can't blame em to be skeptical. Unless you really know what bitcoin is.

I'm sorry but reading the total amount of coins lost especially 350+ btc made me skeptical.
With such amount of holdings, you should know already that you should be keeping them in much more secure type of wallet. With such amount, it also give us an impression that you have had a lot of experience in the crypto world that should tell you that recovering it is no longer possible.
But with all these thoughts, I'd still incline to trust your words that you lost such amount because regardless of how much you actually lost, it doesnt change the fact that it cant be recovered; so im sorry for your lost.

I dont think it's gonna die. It's just that, ads regarding it were banned so it's kinda a struggle to expose everyone regarding this.  Believe Crypto currency is the future currency oh human. Imagine if facebook decided to have a currency for its marketplace. Deym

I really think this has been a quiet year for bitcoin and other crypto coins. When facebook allowed ad about crypto currency, the prices were really sky rocketing until they decided to ban cryptocyrrency ads due to scams.

I think its price will stay at its average currently until someone or some group make a headline in the world that'll boost crypto awareness

Re: Primedice domain access restored. Please stand-by for more details

Good news! We've regained access to the domain and they are pointed at our old nameservers again. I still must stress that you cannot trust emails from @primedice for the next day or until we say so.

We're in the process of transferring the domain to a more secure registrar. I will let you know when the site is back and it is safe to play, but hopefully within the next day.

Phew! At last! Good to here that, Stunna! Kudos to the whole team!

You should make a mandatory password change for everyone who logs back into primedice

I'm not the only one who logged in into the phishing site so it's really a must to have a mandatory change of password.

Glad to know PD has recovered its domain back. And yes, it's a good idea to transfer it to a more secure registrar specially, knowing that the current registrar is toooo slow to process cases like this like there's no business being halted.

Will try out stake for the meantime. with faucet XD

They should transfer it to more responsive registrar, 24/7 live support like PD and Stake's Grin

Not only that but a way to make sure those who did attempt login on the phishing site could securely login their own account.

Luckily I'm not one of those.

I'm one of the victim, but fortunately I got 2FA enabled, I hope the other victims as well. If not, I hope they do not have balance before the incident happened.

I think, they should disable withdrawal or tipping for the mean time, or do manual withdrawal, but the withdrawal address should be one of the address used to depo in the user's account. Idk if it will help, just an idea.

Yep it took almost a 2 days for pd to recover its domain, i can smell a very slow action on the registrar end.  OR pd has recovered it already but didnt configure the registrar account yet to point the domain back to where it should be to secure the account first.

anyways, glad to see my pd folks in stake and meet new peeps at the same time:)

Been rolling in this dice site for a while and id say i love the house edge. However, what made me stick to this site the most is the community. It's fun; especially the forum games and chat games. Very well moderated site.
