Re: Gamblers - How do you use your signature campaign earnings?

After reading a blog on the topic of Automating your Financial Life (eg payroll comes in the account, or check is deposited, and X% goes to fixed, X to investments, etc). I have begun to implement this strategy and it's unbelievable how much stress is lifted from your life. Money is viewed differently, you start to develop saving investing habits, pretty amazing.
Anything affiliate wise goes to paying down debt. Nothing exciting there but Im so blessed to at least have income so no complaints.

Using bitcoin / crypto to fund trading account (Buy stocks, etfs, etc)

simplefx.com/n/l16_7465]https://[url]simplefx.com/n/l16_7465

I've been using this to stash away money that I use to waste gambling.... Thoughts about this?
Quick Takes:
1.   Instant Deposits / Withdrawals. No minimums. NYC rules only if you use fiat currency to fund your account. Otherwise just use a VPN Canada and deposit crypto.
2.   Up to 50x leverage available (margin). This can be dangerous obviously, but if you get a trade right it's like hitting the lottery! Think of a parlay in sports betting.
3.   Demo Account to get comfortable.
4.   Mobile app is great.
5.   240 tradable instruments in several markets. (stocks, etfs, etc)
Over the last few years, the broker has reached over 210,000 traders in 160 countries, attracting both novices and experts to the advanced features on their reliable trading platforms.
You may lose everything. Investing is risky especially using margin.

Re: How 999dice.com is stealing your coins, and exactly why you won't believe me
by

TL;DR: 999dice is not provably fair at all, but they hide is so well, you'd never actually know it.

Stupid-long version:

I'd like to start with some background. I'm involved in the crypto community, have been mining and trading bitcoin for a very long time. (Well, very long being a relative term.) I'm a programmer, I enjoy math, and few things give me more joy than figuring out a math/programming puzzle. I've also dabbled with gambling my entire adult life. Not addicted to it by any stretch of the imagination. Losing is frustrating and ruins the joy of it. The joy I get from it is figuring out how it works, and making it work to my advantage. Card counting? Sure, sometimes. That's a bit boring however. Let it Ride is my favorite game to play for fun. Being able to increase your bet (or reduce your losses) depending on how your hand plays out? Oh, that’s fun. (Yes, I'm aware the house edge is about 3.5% or so on Let it Ride, and card counting doesn't do much good, but at a table in a casino, when the other players realize there's an advantage to sharing their hands with each other, that changes the odds a little).

Anyway - I wrote the above just to give a little background on where I'm coming from. Naturally, being a lover of all things crypto, I eventually gravitated towards sites like primedice and satoshidice and not too long ago, 999dice.com caught my attention. .1% house edge? Wow. That’s not bad. And since it's based on cryptography, you can't accuse them of cheating, like I'm sure all the online casinos engage in.

So I sta
Decide for yourselves, but don't be stupid and blatantly trust a site that hides the hash, makes you tell them you're looking, and provides deceptive information for calculating the hash yourself.

Was your name "Lyco" on 999dice? I remember seeing your bets.
And you might have been one of my referrals... Is this your stats?

Well, good luck since you knew already the red flags out there.  If you're one of the first people who deposit then I guess there will be a payout. But 98% of the people who played with an HYIP like that can't withdraw their so called earnings. People should be aware the cons of using them as means profit and should stay away instead.

My thoughts exactly.... I threw 40 bucks just on a whim and curiosity. Thanks for advice

I noticed your Bustadice signature -- Have you ever tried the "Invest" options and become part of the house commissions? I have had a lot of pleasant success with investing in crypto games and yolo.
Curious if you have thoughts on Busta

Technologi is stuck now. All companies do is upgrading existing techs. Just look smartphones: IPhone 1-4 had many differences, each were unique, and iPhones 6-X are almost the same, with small addtions.

Reminds me of this brilliant fellow: Charles H. Duell was the Commissioner of US patent office in 1899

Re: Bitcoin, Gold or Money?
by
mitch1212
on 25/11/2018, 22:37:29 UTC
So Bitcoin is designed.................
So even if bitcoin prices were to stabilize, wouldn't it be more like gold than a currency to use like traditional money? Gold is very similar in those terms to Bitcoin.
yes, bitcoin is like gold, but it is very different because the value of bitcoin fluctuates and gold is stagnant, I also think that bitcoin cannot be used like ordinary money because the amount is limited and its growing community will make its value continue to increase.

I agree with you bitcoin is like gold. But GOLD DOES FLUCTUATE.

GOLD PRICE (Ounce)

1920: $253
1940: $615
1980: $2,129
2001: $383
2018: $1,310

Re: Inflation and Deflation of Price and Money Supply
by
mitch1212
on 25/11/2018, 22:29:42 UTC
why do supply of money effect the inflation or deflation

Money supply is simply money in circulation. Monetary policy attempts to control this, thus, attempting to keep a little bit of inflation and keep it in check.

To answer your question:
Picture a helicopter full of unlimited supply of money, just flooding the streets, from city to city, coast to coast, as it drops money into circulation literally. So, given the extra money in circulation, this "waters down" the value of that money. So the $20 dollar bill you pick up will have less purchasing power, because there is soooo much more money in circulation.

Inflation (a little bit, not helicopters), is good -- The simplest way to think about this: We don't want consumers waiting to make a purchase. We want you to walk into a store, see a TV you like, and purchase it. We don't want you to think "hmm... my dollar may be worth more tomorrow, so I will wait". We want you to inherently know that your dollar LOSES value over time due to inflation. So you think "hmm.. my dollar is at peak value today, I will purchase the TV now".

The Fed has target inflation of 2% which has historically kept the economy from going into recession. Deflation has been top of mind for central bankers. They have literally had to throw full weight of their power to try and get inflation to pick up.

Hope this helps!!!!

Re: Do DICE BOTS Actually Work For You?
by
mitch1212
on 09/11/2018, 00:08:19 UTC
Never really thought someone would actually create a bot for dice game. Is it really possible to win using those bots like it could predict the outcome?
EAs for the FOREX trading isn't working well even when programmers were paid very well to create it. I use to work with someone who could write a bot for Forex software but really, its just a waste.
Not for long you could receive a negative feedback if proven not working.

Ive done research, and have seen bots which calculate the hash seed and determine if your bet will be a winning or losing outcome. With this being said, I have been unable to find one of these scripts for free, and I'm not going to pay for something that sounds way to good to be true. However, I did find 4 free Bots which I can load, enter the hash seed, set my bets accordingly, and then just let it go. It does NOT CALCULATE the outcome of the hash so I am really not sure why entering the hash seed is necessary. It does work, but its not working to a point where its worth it in my opinion. I'm new to this, and the idea, I figure this place would be best to see if there is anyone that actually has experience.

Any advice on where to find these bots? PM me if you would like to.... I follow a couple people on youtube. Too Much In Moderation, something like that, BitcoinProfits is good. I have made some money but haven't used bots...

Cryptowild
mBit
BitcoinPenguin
SportsBet.io

Horrible Experience:
BitcoinCasino.us..... Literally just closed my account after winning big and affiliate revenue started rolling in.  (Please add this casino to your list of "STAY AWAY")

Anyone had experience with Virtual Racebook 3d?? New Betsoft game that seems to me like you could gain an edge by handicapping horses... Interested in thoughts.

Am I missing something here? Why in the world would you slap "Scam Website" on a legit casino / sportsbook operation that, in my experience, is doing honest business. I personally have had an account and been a happy client for years. That 500 you lost is probably paying for the deep roster of lawyers on their bench that would squash a moron like you

Someone Explain to Me
by
mitch1212
on 20/08/2017, 04:49:31 UTC
For such a basic question, why are there 20+ pages of people saying the exact same thing?

"Mining is expensive. Trading is easy. Trading is profitable. Too late to mine. But trading, trading is cheap. And trading is how to make money."

Will someone explain what they mean by trading? You mean buying and selling like day-trading stocks?

Or....do you mean selling your bitcoin to someone who needs to purchase using Paypal or venmo or cash?

If we are talking about buying and selling BTC and trying to accurately forecast the fluctuations, then by no means should people just start throwing away money. The only reason every knucklehead who opens an account is making money is because the price has gone straight UP. (Everyone was making money in .com stocks too throughout the late 90s.... Pretty easy when all you have to do is buy.)
If this is the idea - then can someone point me in direction of a blog/book/theory or investment trading philosophy? What is everyone doing to make such easy returns.

If I was to answer the question, and Im sure some people mean this also - just buy it and watch the account value fluctuate to get an understanding (minor minor understanding) before diving into "trading". Buy and hold and forget about it and itwill probably be just fine.

If you want to invest, do it the right way first and then sniff around more speculative stuff like crypto.... Consider this please: Split your capital between SAOIX and RPMGX, set up 100 dollars a month going into it every single month, and forget about it. It will make you a millionaire someday. "Compounding returns is the most powerful phenomenon in the universe." Einstein.
Seriously though... Download Stash or Acorns to start simply - and if you can forego a few starbucks and liquor store and weed runs each month. You can become a millionaire.
