I have been a user of earn.com since long and they recently started collaborating with upcoming ICOs to offer Airdrop to earn.com users.
I have participated in many airdrops and I am hopeful to start receiving it from this month.

Re: To be JrMember, 6 weeks later ??
by

Not exactly 6 weeks but it will take minimum of 4 weeks and couple of days to reach Jr. Member. After your 4 weeks are completed, you should be getting 2 more points to reach 30+ and you will be updated to Jr. Member.

Not bad for sure. BitcoinTalk forum is taking really good steps to keep check on the spammers and they have succeeded to a great extent. That is the reason this forum is a de facto standard for any upcoming ICOs. Without restrictions or checks this would have become another heaven for spammers.

Re: Newbie can not Join Bounty Program?

Yes, almost all campaigns restricts Newbies for signature campaigns. But you can participate in Facebook or Twitter campaigns.
It will take around 1 month to get to Jr. Member if you keep posting on regular bases. So you should help some people on the forum and after a month you should be in a good position to participate in campaigns.  Cool

Bitcoin price is highly volatile and it keeps changing every second. So you can better keep track of it via sites like coincap.io or coinmarketcap.com.

Or you can also search on Google like:
1 btc to ? philippine peso
1 btc to ? USD

That's a pretty good start in crypto world!

I have known Bitcoin since 2011 but didn't dive into it till last year when the whole world was going crazy. Though, I am not much into investing, I did earn some amount of coins online via different mediums and using it to experience trading. So far so good.

Re: Anyone ever used Huobi?

It's a good one as per my little experience of using it. I earned some DAT coins and transferred it to Huobi. Haven't done much trading but the exchange looks similar to other exchanges. I haven't withdrawn anything yet so not sure how friend it is to withdraw your coins.

Re: Posting limitations
by
mits001
on 07/03/2018, 13:59:25 UTC
Even though you will do dozens of posts, your activity will increase by maximum 14 every 2 weeks. So don't try to spam and increase the activity, it won't work that way. Rather do some useful and thought provoking posts so that your activity will increase and you might get some merit too (merit will be required to update your rank after Jr. Member).

Regarding limitations of posts, it varies as per your current rank. Newbies can post a reply after minimum 360 seconds from the last post.

Re: Looking for merit points in any way?
by
mits001
on 07/03/2018, 13:43:00 UTC

I wanted an upgrade for my class
So I posted information I copied from other sites
I did not know it was wrong
So do not publish random flyers in order to gain merit points
Because I tried it and got 2-points confidence because of what I did
I know I'm wrong
I do not want the  beginner To make the same mistake
So if you want merit points help beginner
It will come to you not trying to come by any way
Do not publish without mentioning the source
Do not publish for publication
I would like to thank those who guided me and showed me the mistake that I did
I hope that no one else will be in the same mistake
I wish everyone success  Kiss Cheesy

Grin Grin Happens dude! I was also wondering how to gain Merit but didn't fall for copy pasting articles as I already read somewhere that it won't help rather it will be detrimental.
Anyways, it's a good learning for sure. I hope more newbies will search for merit and understand how it works so that they don't do the same mistake.

Re: how to earn Bitcoin without investing??
by
mits001
on 07/03/2018, 13:34:51 UTC
There are various ways to earn Bitcoin.
1. You can exchange your fiat money to get some bitcoin.
2. You can sell your services, whatever you are good at, and get paid in Bitcoin. (You'll have to finalize this with the client before starting work.)
3. You can earn other alt-coins and convert it into Bitcoin.

I will elaborate the point 3 further. It's not easy to earn free BTC currently but there are some alt-coins that you can earn by doing some work. For example, you can earn STEEM and SBD coins by blogging on steemit dot com website. You can earn SOL coins by creating cards on sola dot ai site. And so on. Find such sites and earn coins from there. Transfer those coins to supporting exchange and sell it to earn Bitcoin. By far, this 3rd option has worked pretty well for me.

Re: Why exchange wallet so high fee
by
mits001
on 07/03/2018, 08:28:40 UTC
Yes, the withdrawal fees are pretty high on mostly all the exchanges. Granted, some of it goes as transaction fees but the exorbitant fees exchanges are taking is surely not justifiable. But we can't do much with it for now. It's kind of penalty to use those exchanges.

Re: What is the best platform for treading?
by
mits001
on 07/03/2018, 08:25:42 UTC
I think one platform might not suffice for trading if you are planning to trade whole lot of different coins. Not a single exchange has got all the coins listed, so you will need to use multiple exchanges in such case.

As others have suggested all exchange have got some specialty so based upon your requirement you can choose them. Or give some popular exchanges like bittrex, kraken, poloniex, bitfinex, binance, huobipro, etc try and you should be able to figure which one suits you the most.

Re: bounty ????
by
mits001
on 07/03/2018, 08:21:21 UTC
Yes, you should be able to do bounty campaigns for multiple ICOs on facebook. One ICO won't mind if you are promoting another ICO too on facebook. They should have no concern about it. Same thing you can do on twitter too.

You won't be able to do multiple bitcointalk signature campaigns because at a time you can have only one signature and they will ask you to keep the signature for a week without changing it.

As for the facebook ban, it is applied to paid ads of ICOs and cryptocurrency projects. They have no restrictions on posts about cryptocurrencies. So you can surely run the campaigns. I think this will give rise to Facebook campaign bounty as companies won't be able to run paid ads campaign on FB now.

Re: India taking measures to control crypto
by
mits001
on 07/03/2018, 08:11:46 UTC
Govt of any country in the world would like to put some measures or control over cryptocurrncies but it's not that easy given the de-centralized nature of cryptocurrencies. Govt might ban use or trading of cryptos but that won't put 100% restrictions on cryptos. People will find ways to invest in virtual currencies. What more govt can do is to regularize it with some rules. That is pretty possible and mostly Indian govt will also do the same in future.

Let's see if govt of India comes up with any innovative idea to regularize cryptocurrencies.  Smiley

Tip to avoid getting scamed:

Use a password manager, or just save passwords in your browser.

This way you never type your password again. If you are requested for it, that's not the website you are looking for.
Though it's a nice concept but saving passwords in browser is not safe either. Someone having access to your system can easily find the password or hackers can steal it too.
Better to use 2FA for added security.

Re: How does Bitcoin have any value, and how does it increase?
by
mits001
on 20/02/2018, 05:38:46 UTC
I would like to clarify couple of things

Bitcoin’s value is derived from many factors, however, the most important point is that bitcoin is limited in its number and has a growing demand among the users.
That's right.

and since more and more bitcoins are mined per day, its price will continue to grow.
Not exactly. Adding more and more bitcoin increases the supply hence it should bring the price down. But the demand increases much more than the supply that's why price is increasing.

More and more people are entering the business, the mining process becomes harder, making people take more efforts and computation power on mining, which also affects the price.
Again, I don't think increasing difficulty in mining process increase the price of Bitcoin. Mining difficulty doesn't have direct effect on the price.
