I can't seem to get my transactions to load in the desktop client. Is anyone else having this issue? They showed up the first time I pulled them up, but it just sits there, loading now. I've left it for several hours and it never loads.
That minor detail is the only complaint I can say about Waves and I've been hodling since the ICO. The thing I like most is the lack of hype. Waves is stealthy. Waves doesn't hype a bunch of bullshit, it just says, "Here you go!" and BOOM you got a DEX.

Since the tokens still exist on the Waves blockchain, what's to stop somebody from building their own Waves DEX? It would obviously be separate from the official wallet but isn't the official wallet just a "client" for the DEX? Surely someone can code a DEX on Waves that has no filters.
So my token can be delisted for any reason at Wave platform. This is bad. Decentralisation is number 1 in crypto or not?

What is the best exchange to invest in WAVES? I only have accounts on Poloniex and Kraken and no WAVES there 
Buy from bittrex https://bittrex.com/Market/Index?MarketName=BTC-WAVESLiqui.io is also nice exchange and Bittrex is one of the best exchange. So you can buy Waves from both exchanges and can make withdraw instantly. I have good experience with them and currently using them.
Or use the waves DEX. More volume than liqui but not as good as bittrex(yet)
I sent some Bitcoin to my Waves wallet but I can't pass any orders to buy some WAVES (error). Any ideas why?
Do your BTC show up on your wallet? Or show up as wBTC
Yes BTC show up on my wallet... I guess I can't purchases any WAVES as the decentralized exchange require 0.003 WAVES as transactions costs... Any ideas how I can fix the problem?
Hit up freewav.es for a few wavelets. You should be able to get enough to cover the initial fee.

it is a node issue. just wait and try again later
Do we need more nodes? Can't claim superiority over exchanges with DEX if node issues have the same outcomes as DDoS.

if you held 1 Waves in your wallet during the airdrop you would have 12,500 Mercury in your Waves waller.

That would be them. I haven't sold a single one from either the WAVES or DAR airdrops. Plus I bought some at 200 sat, sold a few at 500 sat and, hey! FREE MONEY!

Yes it is showing 5.0btc on the wallet page. I transferred the BTC https://blockchain.info/address/1HaSPTykXJyD6TQa4BhWTSC26W5JX3J5Wv 45 conf ATM. When I try to place an order the DEX says "Error! Not enough balance." I have no WAVES in the wallet yet...could that be the issue?
That could be it. The trade fee is paid in WAVES. It's only 0.003 WAVES per trade. Come to think of it, that's fucking cheap! Not a percentage, 0.003 WAVES per trade!

No, first you need to send them into Lite client and keep it at least till 15-16 of each month.
